Abstract
A bicycle parking rack includes a rectangular base and at least two restriction members are connected to the base. Each restriction member includes two first sections and a connection section formed between the two first sections. Two support members are respectively connected between the at least two restriction members. Each support member includes a support portion and two connection portions which are formed on two sides of the support portion. The two connection portions are respectively connected to the two first sections of the at least two restriction members corresponding thereto. The support portion of each support member has a recess which accommodates a portion of a bicycle wheel. The restriction members of the bicycle parking rack restrict the bicycle wheel between the two restriction members.
Claims
1. A bicycle parking rack comprising: a base including two opposite sides, a top face of each of the two opposite sides of the base including a slot; at least two restriction members, each restriction member including two first sections and a connection section formed between the two first sections, the two first sections of each restriction member connected to the base so that the connection section of each restriction member is located above the base, the connection section including a first curved portion, a first extension portion, a second curved portion, a second extension portion and a third curved portion, the first curved portion connected with a longer one of the two sections, and the third curved portion connected to a shorter one of the two sections, the first extension portion, the second curved portion and the second extension portion forming a recessed area which is adapt to prevent brake systems or the quick-releases of bicycles from being hit by the connection section of the restriction members, and at least two support members respectively connected between the at least two restriction members, each support member including a support portion and two connection portions which are formed on two sides of the support portion, the two connection portions respectively connected to the two first sections of the at least two restriction members corresponding thereto, a bottom edge of the at least two support members inserted into the slot in each of the opposite sides of the base and contacting the base, each support member including a first face and a second face which is located opposite to the first face, the first and second faces being not a continuous planar face, the second face including a recessed zone formed in the first face, the recessed zone forming a protrusion from the second face so as to reinforce the strength of the support member, the support portion of each support member having a recess which is adapted to accommodate a portion of a bicycle wheel.
2. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least two restriction members each are a tube, the at least two support members each are a plate, each connection portion is a curved portion with an opening through which one of the at least two restriction members is inserted.
3. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 1, wherein the recess of each of the two support members includes a first width recess and a second width recess, the second width recess is smaller than the first width recess and located at a central portion of an inner bottom of the first width recess.
4. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first width recess and a second width recess each have a non-flat inner bottom.
5. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 1, wherein two fixing holes are located at two ends of each slot corresponding thereto, and the two fixing holes each are located corresponding to the first section of each of the at least two restriction members.
6. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 5, wherein a bottom face of each of the opposite sides of the base includes two through holes which are located corresponding to the fixing holes, a bolt extends through each through hole and is connected to a nut located in the first section that is inserted into the fixing hole corresponding thereto.
7. The bicycle parking rack as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base is a rectangular base and composed of multiple tubes.

[0021] In this embodiment, the base 2 is a rectangular base and composed of multiple tubes. The top face of each of the two opposite sides of the base 2 includes a slot 20 as shown in
[0022] Two support members 4 are respectively connected the two first sections 31 of the two restriction members 3 corresponding thereto. Each support member 4 includes a support portion 42 and two connection portions 41 which are formed on two sides of the support portion 42. The two support members 4 each are bent and curved by a plate. Each connection portion 41 is a curved portion with a passage through which one of the two restriction members 3 is inserted. A bolt 23 extends through the each of the through holes 22 and is connected to a nut 33 located in the first section 31 that is inserted into the fixing hole 21 corresponding thereto.
[0023] The bottom edge 40 of each of the two support members 4 as shown in
[0024] Each support member 4 includes a first face 421 and a second face 422 which is located opposite to the first face 421. The first and second faces 421, 422 are not a continuous planar face as shown in
[0025] In this embodiment, the recess 43 of each of the two support members 4 includes a first width recess 431 and a second width recess 432, wherein the second width recess 432 is smaller than the first width recess 431 and located at the central portion of an inner bottom of the first width recess 431.
