    Abstract

    The LED desk light has more than one function which has area illumination by LED light source and incorporate with at least one but not limited other functions select from charge other electric device(s) from built-in USB port(s) or USB-unit(s) or USB-module(s), a display of light beams from the LED, projection of an image, projection of a time image, clock functions, illumination of an area, playing of music, serving as a source of alternating current (AC) power or electric signals, display of photos, wire or wireless transmission of digital signals, providing air flow at a desired temperature, generating moisture, steam, or smells, dispensing liquid, brewing coffee/tea, preparing food, and displaying charging status, night light with desired LED light variety light performance, functions, effects including but not limited for changing color, brightness, dimmer, moving effects, chasing which available from market place by IC or circuit design and powered by Outside Transformer DC power source or Inside Transformer with input AC power source though desire DC-to-DC or AC-to-DC circuits.

    Claims

    1. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function, comprising: a housing; one of: (a) a built-in plurality of LED light sources selected from Dip-LED, chip LED, and/or chip-on-board (COB LED) light sources, which are arranged in a dot-matrix, array, line, rectangular, circle, concentric circle, or donut shape, to provide area illumination; or (b) a detachable CFL or LED bulb to illuminate surrounding areas and, wherein: the LED light is adapted to be positioned where people stay a period of time for work, reading, resting, or sleep, and nearby locations, and includes at least one USB or wireless charger to charge a phone or iPad or other electric products, the LED light includes at least one built-in or external AC-to-DC or rectifier circuit to provide a highest first DC voltage or current to at least one first function of the LED light that requires said highest first DC voltage or current, the LED light further includes at least one DC-to-DC circuit to provide at least one second DC voltage or current that is not higher than the first DC voltage or current to at least one second function of the LED light that does not require said highest first DC voltage or current, the built-in plurality of light sources are either (a) connected in series , or (b) connected in parallel, or (c) the CFL or LED bulb includes said AC-to-DC or rectifier circuit and said AC-to-DC rectifier circuit has a 120V, 60 Hz AC or home AC input, the USB charger has a quick-charging voltage output of 4.5V to 5.2V and a minimum current output of 2.1A for the USB charger, or 5W to 50W for the wireless charger, the second DC voltage or current that is equal to or lower than the first highest voltage or current is supplied to at least one of: (i) said USB charger; (ii) an integrated circuit powered by a voltage of from 0.8 to 12 volt; (iii) a time related integrated circuit, wireless receiver integrated circuit, or alarm integrated circuit powered by a voltage of from 0.8 to 12 volt; (iv) a motor, fan, or airflow device; (v) a Bluetooth circuit or speaker powered by a voltage of at least 1.2V; (vi) at least one second colorful LED, indicator LED, or backlight LED powered by a voltage of from 0.8V to 12V; (vii) an LED or LCD digit display powered by a voltage of 0.8V to 12V; (viii) a timer, alarm system, or count-down system powered by a voltage of 0.8V to 12V; and (ix) components, parts, or accessories powered by a voltage of approximately 0.8V to 12V, and wherein the USB charger supplies charging power only and has no data transfer function.

    2. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said added function is or is provided by at least one of: (a) a built-in USB port, USB unit, or USB module to charge another product; (b) integrated circuit control of color, brightness, and/or turn-on and turn-off; (c) projection of an image, lighted patterns, or time display; (d) display of LED light segments for a clock or alarm clock function; (e) an LED backlight function for an LCD display; (f) a wireless music or audio playback function; (g) an AC or wireless power function; (h) a photo display function; (i) moisture, steam, fragrance, or odor generation or diffusing; (j) liquid dispensing or moisture vaporization; (k) coffee brewing; and (l) LED indicator light charging, on/off, or surge protection status display.

    3. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one functions as claimed in claim 1, further comprising at least one additional outlet-unit installed in a base or compartment of the LED light, with or without a ground-pin for supplying AC power to another electric or digital device.

    4. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said LED light has more than one function and a housing that includes space for a plurality of said USB-receiving ports, USB units, or a USB module to permit simultaneous charging of multiple said electric or digital devices.

    5. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, further comprising at least one additional non-USB receiving-end for supplying power or signals to electric or digital devices, said additional receiving-end including at least one of (aa) an outlet-unit having a ground-pin, (bb) an internet adaptor, or (cc) an AC or DC adaptor.

    6. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one USB charger is a rotating unit having greater than two surfaces, each surface having different receiving terminals or features.

    7. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said LED light is a light without a built-in LED but which has a bulb socket or base or receiving adaptor for installation of said CFL or LED bulb.

    8. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one USB charger outputs power for another device selected from an MP3 or MP4 player, smart phone, computer, tablet, video game, digital visual equipment, and communication equipment.

    9. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said LED light or parts is arranged to be turned on or turned off for a pre-determined period of time by a switch, sensor, timer, photosensor, motion sensor, time delay circuit, or master control power circuit.

    10. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said LED light incorporates components including at least one of: (A) circuitry, (B) an integrated circuit (IC), (C) a motion sensor, (D) a switch, (E) a sensor, (F) a timer, (G) a time delay, (H) a count-down or wake-up timer, (I) a resilient conductive piece, (J) a transformer, (K) an inverter, (L) an adapter, (M) a PIR piece, (N) an infrared piece, (O) a master power control piece, (P) wake-up lighting, and (Q) count-down sleep light.

    11. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said more than one function are further selected from color changing, color selection, brightness adjustment, and adjustable lighting effects or performance.

    12. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said more than one function are further selected from functions that switch between motion triggering and dusk-to-dawn control, color changing and fixed color, high and low brightness, sensor and non-sensor control, surge protection or no surge protection, projection and no projection, air flow on and off, and audio or silence.

    13. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein said different voltages are distributed to electrical parts or accessories selected from said built-in plurality of LEDs, said USB charger, a motor, an airflow system, diffusor equipment, a built-in night time lighting system, an integrated circuit, at least one speaker, an audio device, a wireless signal or power transmitting device, a time or weather display, an LED digital segment display, and LCD digital segment display, and an LED backlight.

    14. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein LED light is incorporated with an AC outlet unit or module having built-in at least one of a surge protection, overcharge protection, overheat protection, short circuit protection, and ground fault interruption circuit.

    15. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one function as claimed in claim 1, wherein the USB charger includes at least one of a Type A, E, or C USB-port.

    16. A desk or table or cabinet top LED light having more than one functions as claimed in claim 1, wherein said more than one function is further selected from changing the color, brightness, dimness, or kelvin temperature of visible light beams (3,000 to 8,000K), or chasing, fade-in and fade-out, random, pair-flashing, sequential, or night light functions or effects, or any function, effects, or performance which can be created by an integrated circuit (IC) and related electric parts and accessories with or without a control device.

This kind of device preferred has the AC power source, it also can has backup DC power source for DC light source while power fail an use.
