    Description

    EXAMPLE A

    [0215] Meloidogyne incognita Test

[0216] Solvent: 125.0 parts by weight of acetone

[0217] To produce an appropriate active ingredient formulation, 1 part by weight of active ingredient is mixed with the stated amount of solvent and the concentrate is diluted to the desired concentration with water.

[0218] Vessels are filled with sand, active ingredient solution, an egg/larvae suspension of the southern root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) and lettuce seeds. The lettuce seeds germinate and the plants develop. The galls develop on the roots.

[0219] After the desired period of time, the nematicidal action is determined in % by the gall formation. 100% means that no galls were found; 0% means that the number of galls on the treated plants corresponds to the untreated control. The values ascertained are entered into Colby's formula.

[0220] In this test, the following active ingredient combination according to the present application showed synergistically enhanced efficacy compared to the active ingredients applied individually:

    EXAMPLE B

    [0221] Meloidogyne incognita Test

[0222] Solvent: 125.0 parts by weight of acetone

[0223] To produce an appropriate active ingredient formulation, 1 part by weight of active ingredient is mixed with the stated amount of solvent and the concentrate is diluted to the desired concentration with water.

[0224] Vessels are filled with sand, active ingredient solution, an egg/larvae suspension of the southern root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne incognita) and lettuce seeds. The lettuce seeds germinate and the plants develop. The galls develop on the roots.

[0225] After the desired period of time, the nematicidal action is determined in % by the gall formation. 100% means that no galls were found; 0% means that the number of galls on the treated plants corresponds to the untreated control. The values ascertained are entered into Colby's formula.
