Abstract
A motor vehicle lighting module, at least including a housing which is formed by a support plate and a circular or elliptical upper part fastened thereto. The upper part is at least partially light-transmitting and closes off the housing to the outside. A plurality of light sources emitting light beams are accommodated in the housing A disc-shaped light guide is arranged in the housing and the light sources are arranged such that a circular or elliptical ring is formed in which the light guide at least partially lies. The light guide has on its periphery at least one shoulder and projects in the radial direction over the ring formed by the light sources.
Claims
1.-11. (canceled)
12. A motor vehicle lighting module, at least comprising a housing which is formed by a support plate and a circular or elliptical upper part fastened thereto, wherein the upper part is at least partially light-transmitting and closes off the housing to the outside, wherein a plurality of light sources emitting light beams are accommodated in the housing, wherein a disc-shaped light guide is arranged in the housing and the light sources are arranged such that a circular or elliptical ring is formed in which the light guide at least partially lies, wherein the light guide has on its periphery at least one shoulder and projects in the radial direction over the ring formed by the light sources.
13. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein at least some of the light beams of the light sources are directed in the direction of the center or the focal points of the ring and are introduced into the light guide, so that the light guide is illuminated by the light sources arranged lying opposite on the ring right into that part which projects in the radial direction over the ring formed by the light sources.
14. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein the ring is divided into two parts, in particular in that two separate portions of the ring in the installation position of the lighting module are separated into a right-hand and a left-hand part by a perpendicular separating line.
15. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein each of the light sources is arranged on an individual printed circuit board or a plurality of light sources are arranged on individual printed circuit boards and the individual printed circuit boards are electrically connected together by way of an annular lead frame borne by the support plate.
16. The lighting module according to claim 15, wherein the lead frame is divided into two parts in order to form two circuits which are separate from each other, in particular in that the two separate circuits in the installation position of the lighting module are separated into a right-hand and a left-hand part by a perpendicular separating line.
17. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein one or more cover(s) protecting against direct emergence of light is/are arranged over the light sources, so that the light beams emitted by the light sources are not emitted out to the surroundings, but enter laterally into the disc-shaped light guide.
18. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein the upper part has an outer surface, which is in particular transparently polished, and a three-dimensionally textured inner surface, which corresponds to an emblem, wherein the inner surface has in particular first, non-light-transmitting, regions, in particular with a dark high-gloss appearance, second, limitedly light-transmitting, regions, and third, light-transmitting, in particular transparently polished, regions.
19. The lighting module according to claim 18, wherein a transparent diffusor plate is arranged between the light guide and the upper part, which diffusor plate scatters the light beams emitted by the light sources, wherein the diffusor plate has textured surfaces, in particular micro pyramids geared to the contours of the emblem.
20. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein each of the light sources is formed by a light-emitting diode.
21. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein a sensor, in particular for adaptive cruise control, and/or a camera is/are arranged within the ring formed by the light sources and/or in an installation space starting from the upper part behind the plane spanned by the ring.
22. The lighting module according to claim 12, wherein the lighting module is designed as a high-voltage component.
Description
[0033] An example of embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the figures and will be discussed below.

[0037]
[0038]
[0039] In the figures, identical components are provided with identical reference numerals.
[0040] As shown schematically in
[0041] The support plate 21 has two multipole plug connectors 22, which each serve for direct connection of a circuit to a cable assembly of a motor vehicle. Furthermore, the support plate 21 has a plurality of fastening devices which serve for fastening the lighting module 10 to a vehicle component, for example to readily visible points of the front end of a vehicle and/or the rear of a vehicle. A slope 211 arranged on the periphery of the support plate 21 may be used to produce an inclination of the disc-shaped light guide in relation to the support plate 21. A coated textile membrane 70 is provided on the outer side of the support plate 21 in order to seal against ingress of moisture into the housing 20.
[0042] A plurality of light sources 30 emitting light beams 31 is accommodated in the housing 20. Each of the light sources 30 is formed by a light-emitting diode (LED). Furthermore, a disc-shaped light guide 40 is arranged in the housing 20. The light sources 30 are arranged such that a ring is formed in which the light guide 40 partially lies. The light guide 40 has a shoulder 42 on its periphery, and projects in the radial direction over the ring formed by the light sources 30.
[0043] Due to the fact that the disc-shaped light guide 40 has a shoulder 42 on its periphery, the light guide 40 is designed with a first portion 43 which has a first diameter, and with a second portion 44 which has a second diameter which is larger than the first diameter, as can be recognized in particular in
[0044] As shown in
[0045] The plurality of light sources 30 is arranged in annular manner around the light guide 40, so that two light sources 30 in each case are located opposite each other and so that the light beams 31 emitted by the light sources 30 enter laterally into the light guide. The light beams 31 emitted by the light sources 30 are propagated in the light guide 40 from a coupling-in point of a light beam 31 from the light source 30 on the edge of the first portion 43 to the opposing edge of the second portion 44, and emerge from the light guide 40 at the edge of the second portion 44 perpendicularly in the direction of the upper part 24, as is illustrated in
[0046] As can be seen from
[0047] As shown in
[0048] As shown in
[0049] As shown in
[0050] As can be seen in
[0051] As shown in
[0052] The lighting module 10 is designed as a high-voltage component for use in hybrid/electric motor vehicles and other motor vehicles with high-voltage systems.
