    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0053] Structural Principle

[0054] A yarn transfer machine (1) is a machine that enables the hand knitting yarn to be wound on the bobbin (M). The overall structure comprises a creel (10), a machine body (20) and a traverser unit (30). FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of the yarn transfer machine (1).

[0055] The mentioned creel (10) is the place where the completed hand knitting yarns are placed in the machine after being ready to transfer. The yarns (I) are fed from here to the machine body (20).

[0056] A yarn guide (11) is located so that it is positioned on top of the machine body (20) in the creel (10) configuration. The yarn guide (11) is used for feeding yarns (I) in the creel (10) to the traverser unit (30) in the machine body (20).

[0057] The machine body (20) is the main structure where the yarn (I) from the creel (10) are wound onto the bobbin (M). The traverser unit (30) which perform the wounding process and a bobbin bearing (21) onto which the bobbin (M) is attached are located within the machine body (20).

[0058] The mentioned bobbin bearing (21) is the part connected to the machine body (20) where the bobbins (M) on which the yarns (I) will be wound are placed.

[0059] The traverser unit (30) is the structure that is configured against the bobbin bearing (21) and allows the yarns (I) to be wound on the bobbin (M) surface in a regular manner. The traverser unit (30) comprises multi-traverser apparatus (31), traverser bearing (32), traverser shaft (33), drive gear (34) and traverser belt (35). FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the traverser unit (30).

[0060] The mentioned multi-traverser apparatus (31) comprises traversers (311) and traverser profile (312) and is the subject of the invention. The multi-traverser apparatus (31) allows winding more than two yarns (I) on the bobbin (M). Four of the mentioned traversers (311) are shown in FIG. 3, three of them are shown in FIG. 4 and their number can be increased up to a desired number (as long as the machine length allows).

[0061] Traversers (311) are fixed vertically on the traverser profile (312) by ensuring a desired distance between them. The multi-traverser apparatus (31) comprising the traverser profile (312) and the traversers (311) is of a monolithic structure. On the mentioned traverser profile (312), the traverser profile fixing gaps (313) are formed which will be used to secure the multi-traverser apparatus (31) to the traverser bearings (32). FIG. 4 shows a detailed view of the multi-traverser apparatus (31) of the invention. As shown in the figure, a gap is formed at the end of the traversers (311). The yarn (I) is passed through this gap and thereby during the motion of the traverser (311) the yarn (I) is made to run without getting loose of the traverser (311).

[0062] The traverser bearing (32) is the element onto which the multi-traverser apparatus (31) is fixed. The traverser bearing (32) is passed to the multi-traverser shaft (33). By means of the multi-traverser shaft (33), the traverser (311) properly performs right-left motion horizontally along the X+ and X directions. The smooth horizontal movement of the traverser bearing (32) ensures the smooth movement of the multi-traverser apparatus (31), which ensures a smooth winding.

[0063] The traverser shaft (33) is positioned in the traverser unit (30) parallel to the bobbin bearing (21). Thereby, the traversers (311) perform a horizontal motion parallel to the bobbin (M) to allow the winding process to take place.

[0064] The traverser belt (35) is connected to the traverser bearing (32) and the traverser bearing (32) is moved to perform back and forward motion along the X+ and X directions the horizontally. The traverser belt (35) is driven by the motion gear (34). The motion gear (34) is driven by the motor.

[0065] The mentioned multi-traverser apparatus (31) is produced in a monolithic structure as shown in FIG. 4 and it is fixed on the traverser bearings (32) as seen in FIG. 3. As an alternative to this configuration, as seen in FIG. 3, a single traverser (311) can be fixed on a separate traverser bearing (32).

    [0066] Assembly Principle

[0067] The invention is of a monolithic structure and comprises traversers (311) mounted on the traverser profile (312) as mentioned above. The monolithic traverser apparatus (31) shown in FIG. 4 comprises three traversers (311). This can be increased up to a desired number. However, due to the machine and bobbin (M) dimensions, the use of three to five traversers (311) will provide a healthier yarn (I) transfer.

[0068] The multi-traverser apparatus (31) is secured to the traverser bearing (32) through the traverser profile fixing gaps (313). The traverser bearing (32) is also attached to the traverser shaft (33). The traverser shaft (33) is fixed to the traverser unit (30).

[0069] After, the traverser belt (35) is attached to the traverser bearing (32). The traverser belt (35) is also attached to the drive gear (34).

[0070] With this assembly, multi-traverser apparatus (31) is installed in the driver unit (30) and multi-yarn winding can be performed. FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of the mounted state of the traverser unit (30).

[0071] As an alternative to the monolithic multi-traverser apparatus (31), individual traversers (311) can also be fixed one by one to the traverser bearings (32) as mentioned in the construction principle. It is possible to assemble a desired number of traversers (311) by attaching desired number of traverser bearings (32) on the traverser shaft (33).

    [0072] Operating Principle

[0073] Yarns (I) as many as the number of traversers (311) are fed from the creel (10) to the traverser unit (30), which is assembled in the aforementioned manner. The number of traversers (311) can be seen as three and four in figures and can be up to five and the operating principle will be explained over three traversers (311).

[0074] Three yarns (I) are fed to the three traversers (311) as seen in FIG. 2 and the yarns (I) are passed through here and connected to the bobbin (M). The yarns (I) passing through here may be of the same color, or all three may be of different color. Even yarns (I) with different contents can be used. These preferences can be varied according to the marketing method.

[0075] The machine operation is started. The bobbin bearing (21) rotates the bobbin (M) around the bobbin bearing's (21) own axis. With the rotation of the bobbin (M), the yarns (I) fixed to the bobbin bearing (21) are drawn and winding on the bobbin (M) starts.

[0076] As in the previous technique, the traverser (311) moves left and right horizontally in X+ and X directions. With this action, the yarn (I) is wound on the bobbin (M) surface in a balanced manner. By means of the multi-traverser apparatus (31) used here, it becomes possible to wind more than one yarns (I) on the bobbin (M).

[0077] After winding up to a desired diameter, the machine stops/is stopped and the bobbin (M) is removed from the bobbin bearing (21). With this process, three yarns (I), which are identical or different from each other, are wound on a single bobbin (M) and the bobbin (M) becomes ready to be packaged and marketed.

[0078] Above, the information on the transfer machine used for the transfer of hand knitting yarns are provided. Developed multi-traverser apparatus (31) can be applied to a machine where any yarn (I) type is transferred.
