    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0023] The present invention relates to a portable outdoor table intended to be used in water. The present invention as shown in FIGS. 1-3 is made up of a mountable table top 10 and a hollow support pole 12 with and auger 14 bottom. Both the mountable table top 10 and the hollow support pole 12 with an auger 14 bottom are preferably rust resistant in nature.

[0024] As FIG. 1 shows, the intent of the present invention is to provide a mountable table top 10 that may be used in water 40. This is accomplished by inserting a rod into a hole 18 provided in the hollow support pole 12 and using the rod as a wench to securely anchor the hollow support pole 12 in an upright position, by means of the auger 14, into the soil 42 underwater. The mountable table top 10 is then affixed to the hollow support pole 12 at a height that is suitable to the depth of the water 40 the assembly is being used in. This is accomplished by tightening the knob 20 that is provided on the auger pole mount 36 once the mountable table top 10 is in the desired position.

[0025] The mountable table top 10 provides a place for people to gather around in the water and store their food, drinks, and other personal items. This is accomplished by the planar surface of the mountable table top 10, as well as multiple cup holders 24 and side rails 26 around the perimeter of the mountable table top 10.

[0026] The hollow support pole 12 also provides means for an umbrella 16 to be inserted, thus providing shade for people to gather around in the water 40.

[0027] As FIG. 2 shows, all components of the assembly are detachable and portable. By loosening the knob 20 on the auger pole mount 36, all components may be dissembled and transported. In alternate variations of the present invention, all components may be stored in a portable carrying case.

[0028] FIG. 3 provides an elevation view of the mountable table top 10 affixed to the hollow support pole 12 with an umbrella 16 inserted into it. This view provides a good representation of how the mountable table top 10 is easily adjustable in height and may slide up and down the hollow support pole 12 to accommodate for variable depths of water 40. Once the mountable table top 10 is at a suitable height, it is tightened down on the hollow support pole 12 by means of the knob 20 on the auger pole mount 36.

[0029] FIG. 4 shows the bottom side of the mountable table top 10. As depicted, the bottom side of the mountable table top 10, provides a hole 28 in which the hollow auger pole 12 may pass through, multiple cup holder holes 22 in which cup holders 24 may be inserted into, and a latch 30 which allows multiple variations of mounts to be attached to the bottom side of the mountable table top 10.

[0030] FIG. 5 shows the bottom side of the mountable table top 10 with an auger pole mount 36 attached to it. The auger pole mount 36 is attached to the mountable table top 10 by means of a hook 34 that the latch 32 on the bottom side of the mountable table top 10 may connect with. The auger pole mount 36 also includes a knob 20that is tightened, once the mountable table top 10 is in the desired position, on the hollow auger pole 12 as it passes through the tube on the auger pole mount 36.

[0031] FIG. 6 shows the bottom side of the mountable table top 10 with a boat pole mount 38 attached to it. The boat pole mount 38 is attached to the mountable table top 10 by means of a hook 34 that the latch 32 on the bottom side of the mountable table top 10 may connect with. The boat pole mount 38 attaches to the boat pole 44 by means of the desired boat pole manufacturer. Variations of boat pole mounts can be made to accommodate for a variety of boat pole manufacturers.

[0032] FIG. 7 shows a variation of the present invention's use. By attaching a boat pole mount 38 to the bottom side of the mountable table top 10, by means of the interchangeable mounting system (side rails 30 and latch 32), the mountable table top 10 may be affixed to a boat pole 44, thus allowing the mountable table top 10 to be used on a boat. People may gather around the mountable table top 10 while sitting on their boat seats 46.
