PEEL BACK POPCORN BACK

Abstract

An illustrated view of an exemplary popcorn bag for popping and eating popcorn is presented. The popcorn bag can be opened easily and safely, while also allowing easy access to all of the popped kernels and old maids without making the hands greasy and leaving kernels and old maids at the bottom of the bag. Further, the popcorn bag alleviates the need of other dishes, including, but not limited to, bowls, plates, etc., thereby eliminating at least a portion of the post popcorn eating cleanup process.

Claims

1. A popcorn bag for cooking and eating of popcorn, the bag comprising: a top; a plurality of sides; a bottom; an interior, the interior being configured to be accessible through the top of the bag; an opening panel, the opening panel having a plurality of edges, wherein three (3) of the plurality of edges being removably and resealable coupled to the top of the bag by a coupling material; and a peel tab, the peel tab being coupled to one of the edges of the opening panel, wherein the peel tab indicates a starting position for uncoupling the three edges from the top of the bag.

2. The bag of claim 1, wherein the bag being made of a paper material.

3. The bag of claim 1, wherein the coupling material being a food-grade epoxy.

4. The bag of claim 1, wherein the opening panel being resealable.

5. The bag of claim 1, wherein the bag having a height being seven (7) inches.

6. The bag of claim 1, wherein the bag having a length being three (3) inches.

7. The bag of claim 1, wherein the bag having a width being three (3) inches.

8. The bag of claim 1, wherein the opening panel having a height being six and one-half (6.5) inches.

9. The bag of claim 1, wherein the opening panel having a length being two and one-half (2.5) inches.

10. The bag of claim 1, wherein the interior having a food product.

11. The bag of claim 10, wherein the food product being popcorn.

12. The bag of claim 1, wherein the interior being accessible when the opening panel is uncoupled from the top of the bag.

13. The bag of claim 1, wherein the opening panel being centered on the top of the bag.

14. The bag of claim 1, wherein a length the top of the bag being at least a same length as a length of the opening panel.

15. The bag of claim 1, wherein a height of the top of the bag being at least a same height as a height of the opening panel.

16. The bag of claim 1, wherein the bag being a bowl shape.
