Abstract
A garment hanger, adapted to be attached to a portion of a garment. The garment hanger includes a rigid hanging hook fixedly attached to a hanger connection portion, which hanger connection portion is adapted to be attached to the portion of the garment. The hanger connection portion may be sewn to the garment or removably attached thereto with fasteners. The hanger connection portion may include first and second garment supporting extensions fixedly attached to the hanger connection portion and extending outwardly therefrom.
Claims
1. A garment hanger, adapted to be attached to a portion of a garment, the garment hanger comprising a rigid hanging hook fixedly attached to a hanger connection portion, which hanger connection portion is adapted to be attached to the portion of the garment.
2. The garment hanger of claim 1, wherein said rigid hanging hook is fixedly attached to said hanger connection portion via a flexible connection strap.

The garment hanger of claim 1, further comprising first and second garment supporting extensions fixedly attached to said hanger connection portion and extending outwardly therefrom, said first and second garment supporting extensions being adapted to engage and to support shoulder portions of the garment when the garment is hanging.
4. The garment hanger of claim 1, wherein said rigid hanging hook is rotatable relative to said hanger connection portion.

The garment hanger of claim 1, wherein said hanger connection portion comprises an elongate flexible body having a first set of fasteners disposed at a first end thereof and a second set of corresponding fasteners disposed at a second end thereof, opposite to said first end, wherein said hanger connection portion is adapted to be removably attached to the garment by said elongate flexible body being disposed around a hanging tab of the garment and engagement of said first set of fasteners with said second corresponding set of fasteners.

The garment hanger of claim 1, wherein said rigid hanging hook extends from a first lateral side of said hanger connection portion, and a second rigid hanging hook extends from a second lateral side of said hanger connection portion, said second lateral side being opposite said first lateral side, and wherein at least one of said rigid hanging hook and said second rigid hanging hook is rotatable relative to said hanger connection portion.
7. A garment having said hanger connection portion of the garment hanger of claim 1 attached to an interior surface thereof, such that said garment is adapted to be hanged by engaging said rigid hanging hook with a hanging rod.
8. The garment of claim 7, wherein said wherein said hanger connection portion of said garment hanger is sewn to said interior surface.
9. The garment of claim 7, wherein said hanger connection portion includes a first set of fasteners, said interior surface of said garment includes a second set of corresponding fasteners, and said hanger connection portion is removably and reversibly connected to said garment by connection of said first set of fasteners to said second set of fasteners.

The garment of claim 7, wherein: said garment includes a hanging tab sewn therein; said hanger connection portion comprises an elongate flexible body having a first set of fasteners disposed at a first end thereof and a second set of corresponding fasteners disposed at a second end thereof, opposite to said first end; and said hanger connection portion is removably attached to said garment by said elongate flexible body being disposed around said hanging hook and engagement of said first set of fasteners with said second corresponding set of fasteners.

The garment of claim 7, wherein said hanger is fixedly attached to said hanger connection portion via a flexible connection strap, wherein, in a hanging orientation of said garment hanger, said rigid hanging hook extends out of said garment for hanging thereof, and in a wearing orientation of said garment hanger, said rigid hanging hook is folded over and is disposed against said interior surface of said garment, such that in said wearing orientation said rigid hanging hook does not extend out of said garment and is not visible when the garment is worn.
12. The garment of claim 11, further comprising a pocket in said interior surface of said garment, such that, in said wearing orientation of said garment hanger said rigid hanging hook is disposed within said pocket.

The garment of claim 7, wherein said garment hanger further includes first and second garment supporting extensions fixedly attached to said hanger connection portion and extending outwardly therefrom, said first and second garment supporting extensions being disposed within shoulder portions of said garment to support said shoulder portions when the garment is hanging.
14. The garment of claim 7, wherein said rigid hanging hook of said garment hanger is rotatable relative to said hanger connection portion of said garment hanger.
15. The garment of claim 7, wherein said rigid hanging hook extends from a first lateral side of said hanger connection portion towards a top edge of said garment, and a second rigid hanging hook extends from a second lateral side of said hanger connection portion towards a bottom edge of said garment.
16. A garment including: a garment body having an interior surface; a hanger connection portion attached to said interior surface of said garment body, said hanger connection portion including a first connector extending outwardly therefrom toward a top edge of said garment; and a rigid hanging hook terminating at one end thereof in a second connector, said rigid hanging hook being reversible connectable to said hanger connection portion by engagement of said first and second connectors.
17. The garment of claim 16, wherein said first and second connectors comprise corresponding threaded connectors.

[0028] In an embodiment of the disclosed technology, a garment hanger is adapted to be attached to a portion of a garment. Garment hanger includes a rigid hanging hook attached to a hanger connection portion, which hanger connection portion is adapted to be attached to the portion of the garment. In some embodiments, the rigid hanging hook is fixedly attached to the hanger connection portion, while in other embodiments it is removably attached to the hanger connection portion. In some embodiments, the hanger connection portion is fixedly attached to the garment, for example by sewing of the hanger connection portion onto a surface of the garment, whereas in other embodiments the hanger connection portion is removably attached to the garment, for example by suitable fasteners.
