Abstract
An assembly set for a passenger seating arrangement provided within a vehicle cabin having at least a plurality of seat units, wherein each of the seat units are created by components of at least one of a plurality of seat assemblies, a plurality of seat shell structures, a plurality of armrest structures, a plurality of door structures, a plurality of privacy dividers, and a plurality of table structures, wherein the different seat units have a congruent ground plan or identical outer dimensions.
Claims
1. An assembly set for a passenger seating arrangement provided within a vehicle cabin, the assembly set comprising: a plurality of seat units created by components of: at least one of a plurality of seat assemblies, at least one of a plurality of seat shell structures, at least one of a plurality of armrest structures, at least one of a plurality of door structures, at least one of a plurality of privacy dividers, and at least one of a plurality of table structures, wherein different seat units are formable by different combinations of the components, and wherein the different seat units have a congruent ground plan or identical outer dimensions.
2. The assembly set according to claim 1, wherein the different seat units formed by different combinations of the components are at least one of a forward or rearward facing seat unit, wherein at least a longitudinal axis of the seat is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle cabin.
3. The assembly set according to claim 1, wherein the different seat units formed by different combinations of the components are one of an angled seat unit, wherein at least the longitudinal axis of the seat is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle cabin.
4. The assembly set according to claim 1, wherein different seat shell structures comprise a number of common equipment parts for each seat unit.
5. Assembly set according to claim 4, wherein the equipment parts are at least one of identical panels, identical wall structures, identical armrests, identical doors, identical privacy walls, identical privacy screens, identical tables, identical add-on furniture parts and/or support surface portions.
6. The assembly set according to claim 4, wherein the different seat shell structures are assembled with respect to each other such that at least seat unit dimensions of each seat unit remain substantially the same.
7. The assembly set according to claim 1, wherein for each seat unit a width of at least a rear shell wall in a transverse direction of the vehicle cabin is substantially identical.
8. The assembly set according to claim 1, wherein for each seat unit a height of at least the rear shell wall is substantially identical.
9. The assembly set according claim 1, wherein the seat units of each seating layout provide common utility surface dimensions.
10. Passenger seating arrangement for a vehicle cabin, comprising: a plurality of seat units arranged one behind another in one column in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle cabin, wherein each of the seat units is formed by components of: at least one of a plurality of seat assemblies, at least one of a plurality of seat shell structures, at least one of a plurality of armrest structures, at least one of a plurality of door structures, at least one of a plurality of privacy dividers, and at least one of a plurality of table structures, wherein different seat units are formable by different combinations of the components, and wherein the different seat units have a congruent ground plan or identical outer dimensions.
11. The passenger seating arrangement according to claim 8, wherein a seating layout is one of an in-line overall seating layout, an outwardly faced overall herringbone seating layout, an inwardly faced overall herringbone seating layout and a combination of different seating layouts for arranging the seat units in the vehicle cabin, wherein the different seat units are adaptable with respect to each other such that each of the seat units is positionable within each of the seating layouts.
12. The passenger seating arrangement according to claim 8, wherein the seat units are one of a forward or rearward facing seat unit, wherein at least a longitudinal axis of the seat is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle cabin.
13. The passenger seating arrangement according to claim 8, wherein the seat units are one of an angled seat unit, wherein at least the longitudinal axis of the seat is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle cabin.
14. The passenger seating arrangement according to claim 8, wherein the seat shell structure comprises furniture parts with a number of common equipment parts for each seat unit.
15. The passenger seating arrangement according to claim 8, wherein a width of at least the rear wall in a transverse direction of the vehicle cabin and a height of at least the rear wall for each seat unit remain substantially the same in each seating layout.
