Abstract
A new cultivar of Syringa plant named Jeftini that is characterized by its compact and dense plant habit, reaching between 1.2 m and 1.5 m in height, its non-suckering growth habit, its large leaves with impressed veins on upper leaf surface and its fragrant, full panicles with bright pink flowers.

(5) The following is a description of 5-year-old plants as grown outdoors in five-gallon containers in Cottage Grove, Minn. The phenotype of the new cultivar may vary with variations in environmental, climatic, and cultural conditions, as it has not been tested under all possible environmental conditions. The color determination is in accordance with The 2015 Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society, London, England, except where general color terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used.
