DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0015] The present invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0016] The technical features of a hanger for a swimming cap and swimwear according to the present invention are that: the swimming cap is spread without being folded so that the original shape of the swimming cap is maintained and the inside and outside of the swimming cap can dry, and the swimwear is collected at one spot to be dried and stored by the uneven section (e.g., tongues & grooves, or short bars) formed at the bottom of the hanger.

[0017] The hanger 10 for a swimming cap and swimwear according to the present invention comprises: a frame section 11 with a hook 111, an uneven section 13 to hang swimming goggles or swimsuits, and a cap receiving section 12 to hang a swimming cap.

[0018] The frame section 11 includes a hook 111, inclines 112 and sides 113. The hook 111 in a question mark shape or hook shape is positioned at the top of the frame section 11, enabling the hanger to be hung on a certain place. The frame section 11 may be formed with the inclines 112 integrally or separately. The inclines 112 are respectively formed to be sloped in either sides from the lower end of the hook 111. The side 113 is vertically formed by being curved from the lower end of each of the inclines 112.

[0019] The uneven section 13 is formed in the tongue and groove (custom-character and custom-character) shape by alternating a tongue (custom-character) and a groove (custom-character) and positioned to be connected to the lower ends of both of the sides 113 of the frame section 11. The swimming goggles or swimsuit or swimwear pieces with a string are hung on the tongues and grooves (custom-character and custom-character) for drying and storage.

[0020] The cap receiving section 12 to hang a swimming cap is positioned inside the frame section 11 and includes a pair of horizonal parts 121 and a pair of vertical parts 122 and a round part 123 connecting the upper ends of the vertical parts 122. The pair of the vertical parts 122 are vertically positioned, spaced a part from each other at a certain interval. The pair of the horizonal parts 121 are bent outwardly from the end of the vertical parts 122 so that the bent ends of the horizonal parts 121 are connected to the sides 113 of the frame section 11. The round part 123 is formed in a round shape with an arced upper part and connects to the upper ends of the vertical parts 122. The round part 123 and the vertical parts 122 of the cap receiving section 12 are inserted into an opening of the swimming cap so that the swimming cap is hung to be dried and stored.

[0021] Since the pair of the vertical parts 122 are vertically positioned, it is easy to hang/take out the swimming cap on/from the cap receiving section 12. Since the round part 123 has the upper part which is arced, the shape of the swimming cap is not changed and the original shape thereof is maintained when the swimming cap is dried or stored at the cap receiving section 12. Since the vertical parts 122 and the round part 123 of the cap receiving section 12 are inserted into the swimming cap and a space is formed in the swimming cap while the swimming cap is spread without folding, the original shape of the swimming cap is maintained without wrinkles upon drying and the inside and outside thereof are smoothly dried.

[0022] Preferably, the frame section 11, the uneven section 13 and the cap receiving section 12 are all made of a rod or bar which is uniform in thickness. The cap receiving section 12 may be made of a flat member or a rod or bar which is in a grid shape.

[0023] FIG. 3 is another example of the hanger, which is different from the hanger as described above with respect to the shape of the uneven section. In an uneven section 13, a straight rod or bar is positioned to be connected to the lower ends of the sides 113 of the frame section 11 and a plurality of short bars are upwardly protruded at regular intervals on the straight rod or bar. Swimming goggles, swimsuits and swimming goods are hung on the short bars, to be dried and stored.

[0024] The invention has been described using preferred exemplary embodiments. However, it is to be understood that the scope of the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiments. On the contrary, the scope of the invention is intended to include various modifications and alternative arrangements within the capabilities of persons skilled in the art using presently known or future technologies and equivalents. The scope of the claims, therefore, should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements.
