Funnel Cake Batter Dispenser with improved Dispensing Gun with Wand and Batter Container

Abstract

A funnel cake batter or other batter container with a stop-flow ball to prevent the discharging of CO2 gas into the cooking oil, a convex shaped bottom with a centered hole for improved emptying of the batter container, an easier to operate hand-held, trigger-activated dispensing gun wand, a J hook to hang the dispensing gun wand on when not in use, and a cast iron stand with four legs and four caster wheels making the batter container movable within a place of operation.

Claims

1. A funnel cake batter or other batter container comprising: a generally cylindrical, stainless steel, vessel having top, convex bottom, and side wall defining an interior chamber and an access opening at one end thereof; a releasably locked, stainless steel, closure lid removably and sealingly mounted within said vessel opening for filling and refilling said vessel; a pressure release valve mounted on said closure lid with a sealed passageway in communication with said interior chamber as a means for releasing pressure in excess of 40 p.s.i. therein; an inlet pressure valve means on said top wall with a passageway in communication with said interior chamber and adapted to be connected with a gas pressurizing means to create a positive pressurization of a batter contained in said interior chamber; a conduit means of sufficient size at a first end is joined to a hole centered in said convex bottom of said batter container allowing communication with said interior chamber for permitting flow of said batter there-through; a removably food grade stop-flow plastic, hollow ball; a stainless steel J hook affixed to exterior said side wall of said batter container; a removably hand-held, trigger-activated, gun with dispensing wand removably connected to said batter container joined with a removable rubber or plastic drip cap; a cast iron stand with four legs joined to four caster wheels.

2. Said conduit means of claim 1 at a second end is joined by conduit means to a first end of a ball valve to shut-off or regulate flow of batter.

3. Said ball valve of claim 2 at a second end is connected to a female half of a stainless steel union.

4. Said female half of a stainless steel union of claim 2 is removably joined to a male half of said stainless steel union.

5. Said male half of said stainless steel union of claim 2 is joined at a first end to a clear, plastic tubing of sufficient length by means of a plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor.

6. Said clear, plastic tubing of claim 2 at a second end is joined to said removably, hand-held, trigger-activated, gun with dispensing wand of claim 1 by means of a second plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor.

Said funnel cake batter or other batter container according to claim 1 is an assemblage comprising: a generally cylindrical, stainless steel, vessel having top wall with an inlet pressure valve means mounted on said top wall with a passageway in communication with said interior chamber and adapted to be connected with a gas pressurizing means to create a positive pressurization of a batter contained in said interior chamber and an access opening for a releasably locked, stainless steel, closure lid removably and sealingly mounted within said vessel opening for filling and refilling said vessel wherein said closure lid has a pressure release valve mounted on said closure lid with a sealed passageway in communication with said interior chamber as a means for releasing pressure in excess of 40 p.s.i. therein, a convex shaped bottom wall with a centered hole joined to at a first end to a conduit means of sufficient size allowing communication with said interior chamber for permitting flow of said batter there-through, a side wall defining an interior chamber and J hook affixed to exterior of said side wall; a food grade, stop-flow hollow plastic ball is removably placed in said interior of said batter container and allowed to float on said batter acting as a stop-flow means when said batter container is empty of said batter by sealing off said centered hole in said convex bottom; a second end of said conduit means joined to said hole is joined to a first end of a ball valve for regulating and shutting off flow of said batter from said batter container; a second end of said ball valve is joined to a first end of a clear plastic tubing of sufficient length by means of a pipe to metal male adaptor of sufficient size and a stainless steel clamp of sufficient size; a second end of said clear plastic tubing is joined by means of a second pipe to male adaptor and a stainless steel clamp to a stainless steel, hand-held, trigger-activated dispensing gun which is joined at the dispensing end by means of a third pipe to metal male adaptor to a first end of a stainless steel tube of sufficient length and diameter having a forty-five degree bend approximately four to five inches proximal to a second end and having a removable drip cap made of rubber or plastic joined at a second end when not in use; a cast iron stand of sufficient size with four legs joined to four caster wheels for said batter container to set in.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0046] FIG. 1 shows a cut-away view of the assemblage and the integral parts interconnected which comprise the present invention, and shows a cast iron stand with caster wheels 34 of the present invention. In the cut-away view a stainless steel batter container 10 is shown with a shut-off, plastic, hollow ball 18 floating in the batter. An inlet pressure valve, gas valve 14 is shown for receiving CO2 gas. A stainless steel, batter container lid 12 batter container 10. A stainless steel J hook 16 is shown affixed or welded to the stainless steel batter container 10. A diameter hole 20 is shown in the convex bottom of the stainless steel batter container 10 with a 1 stainless steel nipple 22 affixed or silver soldered to the exterior, bottom of the stainless steel batter container 10. The 1 stainless steel nipple 22 is interconnected to a stainless steel elbow 24 which is interconnected to a 8 stainless steel nipple 26 which is interconnected to second stainless steel elbow 24 which is interconnected to a second stainless steel nipple 22. A male half of a stainless steel union 32 is interconnected to a plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor 40, which is interconnected to a ( I.D. O.D.) clear plastic tubing 44, approximate length 10, however, length can vary length depending on area of operation which is secured to the plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor 40 by a stainless steel clamp 42. The second end of the ( I.D. O.D.) clear plastic tubing 44 is interconnected to a second plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor 40 which is secured to the plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor 40 by a second stainless steel clamp 42. The second end of the second plastic pipe to metal pipe stainless steel male adaptor 40 is interconnected to a hand-held, trigger-activated gun 46 which is interconnected to a 8 stainless steel tube wand 48 with a 45 degree bend 4.5 from one end distal to the hand-held, trigger-activated gun 46, and a removable drip cap 50 made of rubber or plastic is placed on the end of the 8 stainless steel tube wand 48 when not in use.
