    Abstract

A shock-absorbing handle structure for a sports racquet includes a main core body. An outer surface of the main core body is partially or completely covered with a shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is made of an ETPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) material. The ETPU material is used as the shock absorbing structure. The shock absorbing structure is attached to the outer surface of the main core body, which has a simple structure. The ETPU material has a better elastic and rebound effect and improves the shock absorbing effect of the whole handle effectively. It is light in weight, and can improve the hand feeling and enhance the anti-slip effect and prevent sports injuries.

[0022] FIG. 5 is an axial sectional view of a fourth embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0023] Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, there is shown a specific structure of a first embodiment of the present invention, comprising a main core body 10.

[0024] The outer surface of the main core body 10 is partially or completely covered with a shock absorbing structure 20. The shock absorbing structure 20 is made of an ETPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) material. The ETPU material is formed of E-TPU (expanded thermoplastic polyurethane) foam granules (referred to as ETPU, ETPU granules or ETPU foam beads). The ETPU material has the advantages of excellent elastic and rebound effect and softness.

[0025] The main core body 10 is a hollow or solid structure. In this embodiment, it is a solid structure, but not limited thereto. The shock absorbing structure 20 includes a shock absorbing member 21 and a shock absorbing cover 22. The shock absorbing member 21 is attached to the outer surface of the main core body 10. The shock absorbing cover 22 covers the shock absorbing member 21. The shock absorbing cover 22 is simultaneously wound around the outer surface of the main core body 10 to fix the shock absorbing member 21 to the main core body 10 firmly, thereby achieving a better hand feeling. In this embodiment, the shock absorbing member 21 has a cylindrical shape. The shock absorbing member 21 completely covers the outer surface of the main core body 10. The shock absorbing member 21 is a hollow or solid structure.

[0026] When manufactured, the shock absorbing member 21 is first attached to the outer surface of the main core body 10, and then the shock absorbing cover 22 is wound around the shock absorbing member 21 to fix the shock absorbing member 21 to the main core body 10 firmly.

[0027] FIG. 3 illustrates a specific structure of a second embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The shock absorbing member 21 is an arc-shaped structure or other various shape structures. The outer surface of the main core body 10 is partially covered with the shock absorbing member 21. The shock absorbing member 21 includes a plurality of shock absorbing members that are evenly arranged and spaced apart from each other. A gap 201 is defined between every adjacent two of the shock absorbing members 21. In this embodiment, the number of the shock absorbing members 21 is two, but not limited thereto.

[0028] FIG. 4 illustrates a specific structure of a third embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. In this embodiment, the number of the shock absorbing members 21 is three, and three gaps 201 are defined between the three shock absorbing members 21.

[0029] FIG. 5 illustrates a specific structure of a fourth embodiment of the present invention, which is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The main core body 10 is a flat structure. The shock absorbing structure 20 includes at least one shock absorbing member 21. The main core body 10 and the shock absorbing member 21 are superposed to form a cylindrical structure. The shock absorbing cover 22 covers the cylindrical structure. In this embodiment, the shock absorbing structure 20 includes two shock absorbing members 21. The main core body 10 is sandwiched between the two shock absorbing members 21 to form a cylindrical structure.

[0030] In addition, it should be noted that the shock absorbing structure 20 may be a separate shock absorbing cover 22 wound around the outer surface of the main core body 10; or the shock absorbing structure 20 may be a separate shock absorbing member 21 sleeved on the main core body 10, which also provides a good shock absorbing effect.

[0031] The feature of the present invention is described below. It is beneficial for the user to hit a ball. The present invention may be applied to badminton racquets, tennis racquets, pickleball paddles, table tennis racquets, baseball bats, and golf clubs.

[0032] Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
