Abstract

A new cultivar of Agapanthus plant, Noagcar, that is characterized by its vigorous growth habit, its immature peduncles that are strongly tinged with black prior to the opening of the flowers, its flowers that are violet-blue in color with a dark longitudinal stripe, and its floriferous blooming habit.

(6) The following is a detailed description of plants 4-years-in-age as grown outdoors in 23-cm circular containers in Warmond, The Netherlands. The phenotype of the new cultivar may vary with variations in environmental, climatic, and cultural conditions, as it has not been tested under all possible environmental conditions. The color determinations are in accordance with The 2015 Colour Chart of The Royal Horticultural Society, London, England, except where general color terms of ordinary dictionary significance are used.
