    Abstract

The object of the invention is a method of hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis method, especially adapted to electrolysis of water. The method of hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis method, in particular, electrolysis of water characterized in that wind power drives a DC generator and powers the electrodes performing electrolysis, preferably electrolysis of water. A device for hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis of water characterized in that it is created by a windmill whose rotating shaft is connected to a DC generator whose outputs are connected to electrodes placed in the vessel with the electrolyte, preferably water, thereby using wind power and windmill power directly to produce hydrogen and oxygen.

    Claims

    1. A method of hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis, in particular electrolysis of water, characterized in that, wind power drives a DC generator and powers electrodes performing electrolysis, preferably electrolysis of water.

    2. A device for hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis method of water comprising a windmill whose rotating shaft is connected to a DC generator whose outputs are connected to electrodes placed in the device vessel with an electrolyte, wherein said electrolyte preferably comprises water.

    3. A method of generation of hydrogen and oxygen comprising using wind power and a windmill to power directly connected DC generator in order to produce hydrogen and oxygen.

    Description

[0010] A method and device of hydrogen and oxygen production by electrolysis, especially adapted to electrolysis of water is explained in more detail in the embodiment and in the drawing, in which FIG. 1 shows the scheme of the device.

[0011] As shown in FIG. 1 the device of hydrogen and oxygen production consists of a windmill 1 whose rotating shaft is connected via a transmission 2 to a DC generator 3. The outlets from the generator 3 are connected with the cables 4 and those in turn are connected with the electrodes 5 placed in the vessel 6 with the electrolyte in the form of water.

[0012] Under the influence of the wind blowing on the blades of the windmill 1, its shaft rotates, whose rotations are transferred via the transmission 2 to the shaft of the generator 3. The generator 3 generates direct current which is fed through the cables 4 to the electrodes 5 placed in a vessel 6 containing water constituting the electrolyte. Under the influence of direct current, the known phenomenon of water decomposition to oxygen and hydrogen occurs. These products are in a known manner discharged and collected in suitable containers. The water vessel is provided with a permanent water replenishment, not shown in the drawing, because such devices and gas removal are known among others from such patents as PL/EP 2377972 and others.
