Exercise and Stress Reduction Device

Abstract

The current invention is a standalone exercise and stress release device that is in the shape of an egg. The egg device is made of a soft firm material like the material like foam. It is similar in size to a chicken egg and can come in any color. The egg will sit on a stand. The egg device can be used for exercise by placing the egg between the knees and following through with normal desk activities such as reaching for items on the desk or doing formal exercising such as leg lifts.

1. An device comprising: Having an egg shape exercise device being made of a soft sturdy material.

2. The device according to claim 1 further comparing; Having a stand on which the egg can be place.

3. A process for exercise using the device of claim 1.

4. The process according to claim 3 further comprising; Placing the egg shape exercise device between knees.

5. The process according to claim 4 further comprising; lifting the knees.

6. The process according to claim 4 further comprising; lifting feet straight out while keeping legs parallel with floor.

7. The process according to claim 4 further comprising. Pulsing the knees together.

8. The process according to claim 3 further comprising; Placing the egg shape exercise device between hands and press the hands together.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0014] There are a number of significant design features and improvements incorporated within the invention.

[0015] As shown in FIGS. 1 through 4, the current invention is a standalone exercise and stress release device that is in the shape of an egg.

[0016] The egg device 1 is made of a spongy soft firm material like the material like foam. It is similar in size to a chicken egg and can come in any color such as red, blue, yellow, green and purple. The dimensions in the preferred embodiment are 3 inches long with a diameter of 2 1/16 inches.

[0017] The egg device will sit on a stand 10 for ease of access and storage. The stand 20 can be made of any sturdy material and any color such as natural oak or cork. The stand 10 will have a greater dimension than the egg device 1. It can be a series of circular disks with an indentation where the egg 1 is to be placed as shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3. The egg device 1 will stand on its end in the stand 10.

[0018] The instructions for one of the basic exercises using the egg device 1 are: the user will sit up straight with back against backrest of a chair, they will adjust chair height so that feet are flat on floor, they will place the egg device 1 between their knees 100 as shown in FIG. 4, tighten their stomach muscles and maintain this position while working and while reaching side to side for objects to work oblique muscles.

[0019] Other exercises which can be done with the use of the egg device:

[0020] 1. Lift knees 10 times.

[0021] 2. Lift feet straight out while keeping legs parallel with floor 10 times. Lift only one foot at a time if necessary.

[0022] 3. Pulse knees together 10 times.

[0023] 4. Chest compressions with the egg device 1 located between a user's hands with elbows bent. The user will press their hands together 10 times. This will work on biceps and pectoral muscles.

Advantages

[0024] The innovative egg device is discreet, lightweight, mobile, cute and can be used anywhere without breaking a sweat. Anyone can use the device but it will be especially great for people who sit at a desk all day.
