Cigarette disposal/smoker's pollution reduction system

Abstract

An apparatus for safely capturing and disposing lit cigarettes, cigars and other smoking products (cigarettes, cigars, any rolled smoker's products hereafter referred to as smoker's product) as well as filtering smoker's product's smoke, reducing second-hand smoke.

Claims

1. An invention apparatus for sucking in and disposing of lit cigarettes, cigars, any rolled smoker's products, (hereinafter referred to as smoker's products), and for sucking in and, filtering smoker's products smoke, comprising: A fireproof metal body apparatus. Wherein an ashtray/air intake port is housed at the front of said apparatus. Wherein a filter holder with filters is housed at the back of said apparatus. Wherein a vacuum communicably connected to suck in smoker's products and smoker's product's smoke from said ashtray/intake port into the apparatus. Further comprising having said vacuum being turned on and off through an on/off switch. Further comprising, having power source connected to said vacuum. Further comprising having said power source being a USB slot. Further comprising having said power source being a cigarette lighter port. Further comprising having said power source being a battery. Further comprising having said power source being a direct connection. Wherein configured a one-way air valve communicably connected to said vacuum. Wherein configured wire and mesh screen, preventing smoker's product from passing to said vacuum. Wherein vacuum silencer, further comprising the front of said vacuum. Further comprising vacuum communicably connected to the said one-way air valve. Wherein muffler behind said vacuum reduces noise. Said filter holder and filters at exhaust behind said muffler. Further comprising wire and mesh screen separates smoker's product from smoker's product smoke. Further comprising wire and mesh screen is configured above, wherein removable smoker's product disposal unit. Further comprising wire and mesh screen which said smoker's product smoke may pass through. Said smoker's product is forced by gravity to fall into the said smoker's product disposal unit below. Further comprising removable smoker's product disposal unit at the bottom of said apparatus.

The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the invention embodiment comprising a configuration for sucking in smoker's product and smoker's product smoke are configured within a vehicle having a passenger compartment and an engine compartment. The apparatus of claim 1 whereby said ashtray/intake port is in the vehicle passenger department. Further comprising having said apparatus located in the engine compartment. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein fireproof (conduit) (interconnecting) said ashtray/intake port to said apparatus.

[0020] Lit smoker's product (1), is giving off smoke (2), near the ash tray/intake port (3), where it is sucked into the invention apparatus.

[0021] Once the smoke is sucked into the primary cylinder (3A), it passes the one-way air valve (4). The smoker's smoke enters the secondary cylinder (5A) once it passes through the protective wire and mesh screen (5).

[0022] Within the secondary cylinder, the smoker's product smoke travels through the silencer (6), the vacuum (7), the muffler (8), and the cotton and charcoal filters (10). Number (11) shows the filtered air exiting the unit.

[0023] The lit smoker's products are sucked into the primary cylinder where they are gravity fed the disposal base (13), where they may smolder. When the machine is turned off at (9) the spring doors on the one-way air valve (4) close, for lack of vacuum pressure, and the smoldering smoker's product's smoke is trapped in the cylinder. When the user decides to empty the discarded smoker's products there are two clips (12), one on either side of unit. These clips unclip, and the disposal base (13) pulls down and off. The charcoal and cotton filters (10) are removable for cleaning or replacing.
