Abstract
An air blowing from an outdoor unit passes through a vaporization filter installed to face an air outlet of an outdoor unit. The working water W is dropped from a water supply pipe above the vaporization filter, and the working water W flowing down from a filter constituent plate is collected in a water storage tank. The working water W is supplied to the water supply pipe by using a water supply pump. The working water W is circulated between the water storage tank, the water supply pipe, and the vaporization filter. The air blowing discharged from the outdoor unit and passed through the vaporization filter is deprived of the heat of vaporization, and the temperature of the air blowing from the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device is lowered.

DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
[0024] Hereinafter, the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device according to the present invention will be specifically described based on the illustrated preferred embodiment.
[0025]
[0026] Further,
[0027] The outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 includes the vaporization filter 10. The vaporization filter 10 has a structure in which a large number of filter constituent plates 1a are housed in a casing 1b. In this embodiment, the filter constituent plate 1a is formed in a bellows fold in which peaks and valleys are alternately folded along a direction inclined with respect to the side of the strip formed in a rectangular outer shape.
[0028] Further, it is preferable because it is cost effective that the filter constituent plate 1a is formed of a metal plate having good thermal conductivity, and in particular, a plate material made of aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, copper alloy or the like having high thermal conductivity is used.
[0029] The vaporization filter 10 may use a sponge, a nonwoven fabric, or the like instead of the filter constituent plate 1a.
[0030] The filter constituent plate 1a is housed and held in a frame-shaped casing 1b, and the front surface and the back surface of the casing 1b are opened, so that air can pass through the vaporization filter 10. The outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 is installed so that the opening 10a faces the air outlet 2a of the outdoor unit 2.
[0031] Water supply pipes 1c are arranged above a large number of filter constituent plates 1a, and openings are formed in the water supply pipes 1c at appropriate intervals to form nozzles, and working water is supplied from the nozzles to the filter constituent plates 1a. Further, a water storage tank 1d is arranged below the casing 1b, so that the working water that falls along the surface of the filter constituent plate 1a is collected and stored in the water storage tank 1d.
[0032] A water supply pump 11 is housed in the water storage tank 1d, and the working water stored in the water storage tank 1d is sucked from the suction port 11a and supplied from the discharge port 11b. As shown in
[0033] A water delivery pipe 12 is connected to the discharge port 11b of the water supply pump 11, and the water delivery pipe 12 is connected to the water supply pipe 1c.
[0034] A supply valve 12a is provided in the middle of the water delivery pipe 12.
[0035] Further, as shown in
[0036] The existing outdoor unit 2 is installed on the upper surface of the mounting base 21 laid at the installation location such as the ground, as shown in
[0037] The operation of the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 according to the present invention configured as described above will be described below.
[0038] The outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 according to the present invention can be installed in connection with the existing outdoor unit 2. The mounting base on which the existing outdoor unit 2 is installed is replaced with the mounting base 21 which is extended and lengthened, as well as the outdoor unit 2 and the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 are installed on the mounting base 21 after the replacement. At this time, the air outlet 2a of the outdoor unit 2 is installed so as to face the opening 10a of the vaporization filter 10, and the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 is installed as close as possible to the outdoor unit 2 as shown in
[0039] The working water W from the tap water TW is supplied to the water storage tank 1d of the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 installed in connection with the outdoor unit 2 and stored in the water storage tank 1d. When the working water W reaches a predetermined water level, the float valve 14 is closed by the rise of the float 14a, and the supply of the tap water TW is stopped. The water supply pump 11 is operated in a state where the working water W is stored. The working water W discharged from the water supply pump 11 is supplied to the water supply pipe 1c, and the working water W is discharged from the nozzle formed in the water supply pipe 1c. The discharged working water W falls over the entire area of the filter constituent plate 1a, travels along the surface of the vaporization filter 10, and flows down to the water storage tank 1d.
[0040] The working water W that has flowed down into the water storage tank 1d is sucked into the water supply pump 11 from the suction port 11a, is discharged from the discharge port 11b, is supplied to the water supply pipe 1c through the water delivery pipe 12, and falls to the vaporization filter 10.
[0041] That is, the working water W is circulated by the water supply pump 11 between the water storage tank 1d, the water supply pipe 1c, and the vaporization filter 10.
[0042] On the other hand, when the outdoor unit 2 is in operation, the air that has been subjected to heat exchange and whose temperature has been risen is sent out from the air outlet 2a. When the heated air passes through the vaporization filter 10 via the opening 10a, the heat of vaporization is taken away and cooled, and the air whose temperature has been lowered is discharged from the vaporization filter 10.
[0043] Also, when the working water W circulates and decreases due to evaporation or the like, the water level of the working water W in the water storage tank 1d is dropped, and the float 14a drops, so that the float valve 14 is opened and the tap water TW is supplied to the water storage tank 1d.
[0044] In the embodiment described above, as shown in
[0045] In addition, it is necessary that the positional relationship between the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 and the outdoor unit 2 is maintained constant. Therefore, it is preferable to fix the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 and the outdoor unit 2 to the mounting base 21 by a fixing means. Further, in order to maintain the positional relationship between the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 and the outdoor unit 2, as shown in
[0046] Further, the water supply pump 11 of the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 may be operated when the outdoor unit 2 is operating, that is, when the air conditioner is operating. Therefore, it is preferable that the water supply pump 11 is configured so as to be operated in synchronization with the operation of the air conditioner.
[0047] Next, the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 according to the present invention is installed on the existing outdoor unit 2, and the temperature of the air blowing discharged from the outdoor unit 2 and the that of the air blowing discharged from the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 are measured, and the results are shown in
[0048] As shown in
[0049] On the other hand, focusing on humidity, the air blowing from the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 is higher than the air blowing from the outdoor unit 2. This is because the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 uses the vaporization filter 10 to take away the heat of vaporization by the working water W and cool it, so that the air blown from the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device 1 contains moisture.
[0050] As described above, according to the outdoor unit exhaust cooling device according to the present invention, the temperature of the air blowing discharged from the outdoor unit is lowered and released to the atmosphere, so that it is possible to suppress an increase in the atmospheric temperature, and to contribute to the suppression of the heat island phenomenon and the global warming.
