    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS

[0021] To enable the examiner to understand technical content of the application better, descriptions of specific preferred embodiments are provided below.

[0022] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of a packaging structure according to an embodiment of the application, and FIG. 2 is a schematic exploded view of the packaging structure shown in FIG. 1. Refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 together. A packaging structure 1 of this embodiment is used for accommodating and packaging a plurality of objects 9. The objects 9 are objects to be packaged, and in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, plate-like objects are used as an example, which may be, but are not limited to, mainboards or display panels of electronic devices. Preferably, the packaging structure 1 may be a buffer material, such as extruded polyethylene (EPE), to protect the objects 9. The packaging structure 1 of this embodiment includes an upper cover 10 and a lower cover 20. To describe this embodiment more clearly, two ends of the objects 9 are referred to as first ends 91 and second ends 92 respectively. When the objects 9 are packaged, the second ends 92 may be placed on the lower cover 20 first, and then, the upper cover 10 may be sleeved on the first ends 91. Details are further described in the following.

[0023] FIG. 3A is a schematic diagram of the upper cover shown in FIG. 2, and FIG. 3B is a schematic exploded view of the upper cover shown in FIG. 3A. Refer to FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B together. The upper cover 10 includes a first base plate 11, a first packaging part 12, and a second packaging part 13 according to this embodiment. The first base plate 11 has a first folding part 111, and the first base plate 11 is divided into a first portion 112 and a second portion 113 by the first folding part 111, where the first portion 112 is connected to the second portion 113 in a foldable manner by the first folding part 111. Specifically, the first folding part 111 may be a notch in the first base plate 11 across the first base plate 11, so that the first base plate 11 is divided into the first portion 112 and the second portion 113 with the first folding part 111 as a boundary. In this embodiment, the first base plate 11 is a rectangular plate, and the first folding part 111 is parallel to a minor axis of the first base plate 11. In other embodiments, the first folding part 111 may further be parallel to a major axis of the first base plate 11, or the first base plate 11 may further be in other shapes. The first folding part 111 may be configured so that the first base plate 11 may be divided into two portions (the first portion 112 and the second portion 113), which is not limited in the application.

[0024] Preferably, the first base plate 11 may be made of the extruded polyethylene material so that the first base plate 11 has a thickness T. The first folding part 111 may be a notch in the first base plate 11, and the first portion 112 and the second portion 113 of the first base plate 11 are still connected to each other. As shown in FIG. 1, a ratio of a depth D of the first folding part 111 (the notch) to the thickness T of the first base plate 11 may be between 0.25 and 0.75, preferably 0.5. For example, the first base plate 11 may be cut with a knife to form the notch (the first folding part 111) to the depth D that is half (0.5 times) the thickness T, or between and (0.25 times and 0.75 times) of the thickness T. The first base plate 11 may then use the first folding part 111 as an axis to fold the first portion 112 or the second portion 113. In other embodiments, the first base plate 11 may be paperboard or other plate-like elements with a buffer property. In this case, the first folding part 111 may be a fold line or a cut line.

[0025] Preferably, in this embodiment, an area of the first portion 112 is substantially equal to an area of the second portion 113. In other words, a ratio of the area of the first portion 112 to the area of the second portion 113 of this embodiment is, for example, 1. In other embodiments, the area of the first portion 112 may be greater or less than the area of the second portion 113, and a manufacturer or a user may adjust the ratio of the area of the first portion 112 to the second portion 113 according to needs, which is not limited in the application.

[0026] Furthermore, the first packaging part 12 is disposed on the first portion 112, and the second packaging part 13 is disposed on the second portion 113. Herein, a surface of the first packaging part 12 that is connected to the first portion 112 is referred to as a bottom surface, and similarly, a surface of the second packaging part 13 that is connected to the second portion 113 is also referred to as a bottom surface. Preferably, an area of the bottom surface of the first packaging part 12 is substantially the same as the area of the first portion 112, and an area of the bottom surface of the second packaging part 13 is substantially the same as the area of the second portion 113. In other embodiments, the area of the bottom surface of the first packaging part 12 may be greater or less than the area of the first portion 112, and similarly, the area of the bottom surface of the second packaging part 13 may be greater or less than the area of the second portion 113, in other words, the area of the bottom surface of the first packaging part 12 (the second packaging part 13) does not necessarily have a corresponding relationship with the area of the first portion 112 (the second portion 113), and a manufacturer or a user can adjust the ratio of the area of the bottom surface of the first packaging part 12 (the second packaging part 13) to the area of the first portion 112 (the second portion 113) according to needs, which is not limited in the application.

[0027] In this embodiment, the first base plate 11, the first packaging part 12, and the second packaging part 13 are all made of the extruded polyethylene material. In addition, the first packaging part 12 and the second packaging part 13 of this embodiment are respectively disposed on the first portion 112 and the second portion 113 in an adhesive manner. As for the manufacturing process, the first packaging part 12 and the second packaging part 13 can be separately manufactured, and the first folding part 111 is formed in the first base plate 11 by a cutter. Next, the first packaging part 12 and the second packaging part 13, which are manufactured separately, are respectively adhered to the first portion 112 and the second portion 113 of the first base plate 11 to complete the upper cover 10 of this embodiment. In other embodiments, the first base plate 11, the first packaging part 12, and the second packaging part 13 may also be an integral structure. For example, after the overall structure of the upper cover 10 is integrally formed with the extruded polyethylene material, the upper cover 10 is cut by a cutter to form the first packaging part 12, the second packaging part 13, and the first base plate 11 having the first folding part 111 (the notch).

[0028] Furthermore, the first packaging part 12 has a plurality of first separation troughs 121, and the second packaging part 13 has a plurality of second separation troughs 131, and positions of the second separation troughs 131 respectively correspond to the first separation troughs 121, so that the first separation troughs 121 are respectively in communication with the second separation troughs 131 to form a plurality of first accommodating slots 14, as shown in FIG. 3A. In other words, the first accommodating slots 14 are composed of the first separation troughs 121 and the second separation troughs 131. The first separation troughs 121 and the second separation troughs 131 of this embodiment are strip-shaped to form the strip-shaped first accommodating slots 14, so that the first ends 91 of the objects 9 can be accommodated in the first accommodating slots 14. In other embodiments, the first separation troughs 121, the second separation troughs 131 and the first accommodating slots 14 formed by the first separation troughs 121 and the second separation troughs 131 may have other shapes so as to accommodate the objects 9 of different shapes, which is not limited in the application. The structure of the lower cover 20 is described in the following, and assembly steps for packaging the objects 9 will be described later.

[0029] Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the lower cover 20 may have a same structure as the upper cover 10 in this embodiment, so that the upper cover 10 and the lower cover 20 may be used interchangeably to simplify a manufacturing process of the packaging structure 1. Specifically, the lower cover 20 of this embodiment includes a second base plate 21, a third packaging part 22, and a fourth packaging part 23. The second base plate 21 is provided with a second folding part 211, where the second base plate 21 is divided into a third portion 212 and a fourth portion 213 by the second folding part 211, and the third portion 212 is connected to the fourth portion 213 in a foldable manner by the second folding part 211. The third packaging part 22 is disposed on the third portion 212, and the fourth packaging part 23 is disposed on the fourth portion 213. It should be noted that a structure of the second base plate 21 is the same as that of the first base plate 11. For a position of the second folding part 211 and a distribution ratio of the third portion 212 and the fourth portion 213, reference may be made to the foregoing first folding part 111, the first portion 112, and the second portion 113.

[0030] Similarly, the third packaging part 22 has a plurality of third separation troughs 221, and the fourth packaging part 23 has a plurality of fourth separation troughs 231. Furthermore, positions of the fourth separation troughs 231 respectively correspond to the third separation troughs 221, so that the third separation troughs 221 are respectively in communication with the fourth separation troughs 231, to form the second accommodating slots 24. Furthermore, the third separation troughs 221 and the fourth separation troughs 231 are also strip-shaped to form the strip-shaped second accommodating slots 24, so that the other ends (second ends 92) of the objects 9 can be accommodated in the second accommodating slots 24. In other embodiments, the lower cover 20 may also be a component that has only a plurality of second accommodating slots 24 (that is, the lower cover 20 does not have the second folding part 211, and does not need to be divided into the third packaging part 22 and fourth packaging part 23), as long as the second ends 92 of the objects 9 can be accommodated in the second accommodating slots 24, which is not limited in the application. The structure configuration of the third packaging part 22 and the fourth packaging part 23 may also be the same as that of the first packaging part 12 and the second packaging part 13.

[0031] FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B are schematic diagrams of actions of the upper cover of FIG. 1 when objects are packaged. Refer to FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B together. When the objects are packaged 9, the second ends 92 may be placed in the second accommodating slots 24 of the lower cover 20, and then the upper cover 10 is placed over the first ends 91. Firstly, the second portion 113 is turned over by using the first folding part 111 as an axis to turn over the second packaging part 13 so that the second portion 113 is close to the first portion 112 and forms an included angle, as shown in FIG. 4A. In this case, the first separation troughs 121 of the first packaging part 12. are separated from (that is, not in communication with) the second separation troughs 131 of the second packaging part 13, so that a user (a packaging person) or a robot arm used for packaging can align the first separation troughs 121 with the respective objects 9, and the first separation troughs 121 of the first packaging part 12 are respectively sleeved on one side of the first ends 91 of the objects 9, as shown in FIG. 4A, on the right half side of the first ends 91. After the right half side of the objects 9 is fixed, the user or the robot arm can easily turn over the second portion 113 by using the first folding part 111 as an axis to drive the second packaging part 13 to turn over, so that the second separation troughs 131 are sleeved on the left half side of the first ends 91 of the objects 9, and thus, the first ends 91 of the objects 9 are packaged. In other embodiments, when the lower cover 20 has the same structure as the upper cover 10, a process of placing the second ends 92 in the second accommodating slots 24 of the lower cover 20 may be similar to the foregoing process of placing the upper cover 10 on the first ends 91. Details are not described herein.

[0032] In summary, the packaging structure according to the application includes an upper cover and a lower cover. The upper cover includes a first base plate, a first packaging part, and a second packaging part. The first base plate has a first folding part, so that the first base plate can be divided into a first portion and a second portion. The first packaging part has a plurality of first separation troughs and is disposed on the first portion; the second packaging part has a plurality of second separation troughs and is disposed on the second portion. The second portion can drive the second packaging part to turn over by using the first folding part as an axis to separate the first separation troughs from the second separation troughs, and then the first separation troughs of the first packaging part are sleeved on first ends of objects. Because the first separation troughs are separated from the second separation troughs, the first separation troughs can be aligned with and sleeved on the objects more conveniently. Then, the second portion and the second packaging part use the first folding part as an axis to drive the second packaging part to turn over, so that the second separation troughs are also sleeved on second ends of the objects, and packaging of the objects is completed, so that the effect of convenient assembly is achieved.

[0033] It should be noted that the application is not limited to the foregoing embodiments. For example, any modification that does not depart from the basic structure of the application shall fall within the protection scope of the application, and the protection scope shall be subject to the appended claims.
