    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] Smart Sheets are used to cover the mattresses in the Recreational Vehicle and Travel Trailer industries. The Smart Sheets allow the person to easily put sheets on beds, such as bunk beds, by inserting the mattress into the pocket of the Smart Sheet.

[0008] Smart Sheets are made with 2 pieces of material. 1 piece is for the mattress pocket and 1 piece is for the top cover sheet. For main pocket sheet: Take the measurements for the mattress width and thickness and double plus 1 inch. This will be the width of material needed. Use the length of mattress and add twelve inches, this will allow for the material seeded to tuck under on one end. Use measurements to cut material. After material is cut, hem raw edges with hem. For top sheet: Take the following measurements: Length of mattress plus for hem and seam allowance. Measure the width of the mattress plus 18 to allow for top sheet hangover. Cut material and hem raw edges. Lay out material for the sheet pocket with right side up. Lay top sheet material on top of pocket material. Match one long side of top sheet to long side of pocket material. Top sheet needs to be 2.5 above pocket material on short end. Fold pocket material over lengthwise, matching long and right sides together. Seam along short edge of the pocket material. Seam on the long side catching both edges of pocket material, and 1 edge of top sheet material in bottom corner of pocket material, fold opposite direction of seam. Take a 2 inch seam forming a small triangle. Repeat on other bottom corner. Turn pocket right side out. Smart Sheets are completed.

[0009] Optional: Use all steps for pocket material and omit top sheet material.
