COMBINATION WET WIPE KIT

Abstract

A self-contained hand-wipe kit provides a means for containing and dispensing both water-saturated wipes and soap-infused wipes in a single container. The container itself has a first dispenser and a second dispenser adjacently arranged. One contains soapy wipes and the other contains water wipes. A lid allows access to the wipes and enables extraction of wipes. The dispensers are labeled soap and water respectively. The soapy wipes and water wipes may be replaced when depleted. A snap-in lid with ports locks the wipes into their respective containers and provides mechanical means for withdrawing one wipe at a time.

Claims

1. A system for containing and dispensing two types of wet wipes, the system comprising: a container having a first-dispenser, the first-dispenser having an upwardly-facing first-aperture; a second-dispenser disposed adjacent to the first-dispenser, the second-dispenser having an upwardly-facing second-aperture; an exterior-wall bounding the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a base underlying the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a dividing-wall separating the first-dispenser from the second-dispenser; and one lid hingedly attached to the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a plurality of soap-and-water-infused wipes contained within the first-dispenser; and a plurality of water-saturated wipes contained within the second-dispenser.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the plurality of soap-and-water-infused wipes is contained within a first-wipe receptacle and the plurality of water-saturated wipes is contained within a second-wipe receptacle.

The system of claim 2, wherein the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle are each disposable cardboard boxes having punch-outs at a top side enabling extraction of the plurality of soap-and-water-infused wipes from the first-wipe receptacle and the plurality of water-saturated wipes from the second-wipe receptacle.

The system of claim 3, further comprising a top-plate covering both the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser, thereby containing both the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle when the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle are nested within the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser respectively, the one top-plate being able to be contained underneath and parallel to the lid when the lid is closed.

The system of claim 1, further comprising a top-plate covering both the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser, thereby containing both the plurality of soap-and-water infused wipes and the plurality of water-saturated wipes when both the plurality of soap-and-water infused wipes and the plurality of water-saturated wipes are nested within the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser respectively, the one top-plate being able to be contained underneath and parallel to the lid when the lid is closed.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle are labeled with the terms SOAP and WATER respectively.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser are labeled with the terms SOAP and WATER respectively.

8. The system of claim 4, wherein the container further comprises projections to releasably snap the top-plate within the exterior-wall to fasten the first-receptacle and the second-receptacle within the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser respectively.

9. The system of claim 4, wherein the container further comprises projections to releasably snap the top-plate within the exterior-wall to contain the plurality of soap-and-water infused and the plurality of water-saturated wipes within the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser respectively.

10. The system of claim 2, wherein the first-dispenser, the second-dispenser, the first-receptacle, and the second-receptacle each are formed as rectangular prisms.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein the one lid further comprises a lid-fastener to lock the one lid closed over the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser.

12. The system of claim 2, wherein the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser each have an upwardly-opening taper to improve gripability and removability of the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle from the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser.

13. The system of claim 2, wherein the first-wipe receptacle and the second-wipe receptacle are each disposable plastic hermetically sealed bags.

14. The system of claim 5, wherein the top-plate comprises a first-port and a second-port, such that the first-port aligns with and is smaller in diameter than the first-aperture, and the second-port aligns with and is smaller in diameter than the second-aperture.

15. The system of claim 14, wherein the first-port and the second-port each comprise circular openings.

The system of claim 15, wherein the first-port and the second-port each comprise flaps that close access to the first-aperture and the second-aperture respectively, yet are each sufficiently flexible to enable the plurality of soap-and-water infused wipes and the plurality of water-saturated wipes to be pushed through each of the first-port and the second-port.

17. A combination wet wipe dispensing kit for containing and dispensing two types of wet wipes, the combination wet wipe dispensing kit comprising: a container having a first-dispenser, the first-dispenser having an upwardly-facing first-aperture; a second-dispenser disposed adjacent to the first-dispenser, the second-dispenser having an upwardly-facing second-aperture; an exterior-wall bounding the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a base underlying the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a dividing-wall separating the first-dispenser from the second-dispenser; and one lid hingedly attached to the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; a plurality of soap-and-water-infused wipes contained within the first-dispenser; and a plurality of water-saturated wipes contained within the second-dispenser; wherein the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser are labeled with the terms SOAP and WATER respectively; further comprising a top-plate covering both the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser, thereby containing both the plurality of water-saturated wipes and the soap-and-water-infused wipes, the one top-plate being able to be contained underneath and parallel to the lid when the lid is closed; wherein the container further comprises projections to releasably snap the top-plate within the exterior-wall over the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser; wherein the one lid further comprises a lid-fastener to lock the one lid closed over the first-dispenser and the second-dispenser.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0016] As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to hygiene wipes and more particularly to a combination wet wipe kit as used to improve the safe and convenient cleansing of hands.

[0017] For the purposes of this specification, upward indicates being towards a side of the box having the lid. Downwards indicates the opposite direction. Rearwards or back indicates towards a side of the container where the lid is hinged to the body. Frontwards indicates the opposite direction.

[0018] Generally, the combination wet wipe kit provides users with a modified wet wipe dispensing container such that a set of soap-infused wipes are stored in one section while water-saturated wipes are stored in the second section. The container also utilizes refillable or replaceable packs to facilitate using the container for extended periods of time. This container allows users to disinfect their hands while applying soap wipes, preferably for a minimum of twenty seconds, in an attempt to prevent germs and harmful bacteria, and enables the user to grab a water wipe after using the soap wipes to fully clean off their hands. Rinsing away soap will also decrease irritation to the skin. Effectively, the device provides a way for users to clean their hands on-the-go without access to hand soap and running water.

[0019] The combination wet wipe kit is an effective sanitizing tool featuring a container with two separate compartments filled with soap and water wipes. This safe and healthy sanitizing tool features a plastic container that may be BPA and BPS free with two separate compartments filled with soap and water wipes. The soap-infused and filtered water-saturated wipes may be biodegradable and are available in two packages installed in a divided interior volume. A plain, non antibacterial soap with no parabens, phthalates, or formaldehyde may be used for the infused wipes, allowing for the removal of germs and harmful bacteria while permitting good bacteria to remain so as to serve as a protective defense for the immune system. The base container includes a snap-on lid which may be decorated with a custom logo or labels. An alternate embodiment may be available in which the wipe packages are disposable and replaceable. A second alternate embodiment can be available as a travel pack for more convenient portability. Optionally, the packages may be ornamented with quotes from Scripture. In all versions, users can simply obtain a soap wipe to sanitize and disinfect the hands. The water wipe can then be pulled from the container and applied to the targeted area for rinsing. The wipes can be simply thrown away once used. The system is intended to keep hands and other body parts clean while in locations with no running water. Exact size, measurement, construction, and design specifications may vary upon further development and manufacturing.

[0023] FIG. 1 shows a wipe dispensing system during an in-use condition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Here, the wipe dispensing system may be beneficial for use by a user to conveniently and portably have access to both soap-infused wipes and water-saturated wipes. As illustrated, the wipe dispensing system may include container 100, first-wipe receptacle 120, and second-wipe receptacle 130. In some embodiments, each of first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130 may be removable wipe containers which are nested within container 100. In one embodiment, they may be disposable cardboard boxes which may be discarded when depleted of the pre-packaged wipes contained therein. First-wipe receptacle 120 may contain soap-and-water-infused wipes 122, and second-wipe receptacle 130 may contain water-saturated wipes 132. Alternatively, soap-and-water-infused wipes 122 and water-saturated wipes 132 may be without containers, being placed loosely into container 100. Container 100 may itself have first-dispenser 112, second-dispenser 116, exterior-wall 142, base 144, and lid 119. Container 100 may have an upwardly-facing first-aperture 114 whereby soap-and-water-infused wipes 122 may be removed from an interior of first-dispenser 112.

[0024] Second-dispenser 116 may be disposed adjacent to first-dispenser 112. Container 100 may also have an upwardly-facing second-aperture 118 whereby water-saturated wipes 132 may be removed from an interior of second-dispenser 116. Second-aperture 118 may be adjacent to first-aperture 114. Each of first-dispenser 112 and second-dispenser 116 may be disposable wipe containers and may be able to nest within first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130. They may be plastic disposable hermetically sealed bags, cardboard boxes with punchouts, or other containers in varying embodiments. Each of first-dispenser 112 and second-dispenser 116 are formed by the combination of dividing-wall 140 (FIG. 2), exterior-wall 142, and base 144, which may be formed at marginally right angles to each other within a variance of up to ten percent. Such a variance may be desirable in tapering the interior geometries of each of first-dispenser 112 and second-dispenser 116 towards the top, so that each of first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130 may be more easily gripped and removed when nested within first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130. One lid 119 covers both first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130 and locks each of first-wipe receptacle 120 and second-wipe receptacle 130 when closed. Lid 119 may be hingedly attached to container 100 and may be a separate component or may be integral to container 100, for example, in such cases where container 100 and lid 119 are a unitary injection-molded plastic component and hinges are formed by a thin flexible plastic joiner.

Top-plate 150 may have punch-outs 160 at a top side enabling extraction of a plurality of soap-and-water-infused wipes 122 (FIG. 1) from first-wipe receptacle 120 and a plurality of water-saturated wipes 132 (FIG. 1) from second-wipe receptacle 130.
