Abstract
A chalk-holder for billiard-cues system including a chalk holder having a receptacle including an inner volume and a securing member. The inner volume is configured to store chalk for removeable use. The securing member is configured to engage and be secured at a handle-end of a pool cue for providing ready access to the chalk. The securing member comprises threading. The handle-end comprises an aperture configured to mate with the threading of the securing member. The device may be used to store chalk between uses during billiards.
Claims
1. A chalk-holder for billiard-cues system comprising: a chalk holder having; a receptacle including; an inner volume, an open end, and a cylindrical outer profile; and a securing member integral to the receptacle, the securing member having a threaded shaft able to thread into a threaded bore of the billiards-cue system, the threaded shaft having a diameter less than that of the receptacle; wherein said receptacle is configured at a first-end of said chalk holder and said securing member is configured at a second-end of said chalk holder; wherein said inner volume is configured to store chalk for removeable use; wherein the receptacle comprises a semi-rigid material for retaining the chalk; and wherein said securing member is configured to engage and be secured at a handle-end of a pool cue for providing ready access to said chalk.
2. (canceled)
3. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 2, wherein said handle-end comprises an aperture configured to mate with said threaded shaft of said securing member.
4. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 3, wherein said aperture comprises a substantially similar aperture-diameter to a securing-member-diameter.
5. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 4, wherein said aperture comprises a depth suitable to receive said chalk holder and provide a flush connection.
6. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 5, wherein said receptacle includes a cylindrical profile.
7. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said inner volume of said receptacle is configured to receive a cube of chalk.
8. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 7, wherein said cube of chalk is friction-fit within said inner volume during use.
9. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 8, wherein outer edges of said cube of chalk touch walls of said inner volume during use keeping said cube of chalk friction-fit within said inner volume.
10. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 7, wherein said receptacle comprises a receptacle-depth to receive said cube of chalk, said cube of chalk being flush with an outer rim of said receptacle during use.
11. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said receptacle comprises an open-end exposing said inner volume.
12. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said inner volume comprises a cylindrical-shape.
13. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said chalk holder is attachable to a standard said pool cue.
14. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said cube of chalk is removeable.
15. The chalk-holder for billiard-cues system of claim 1, wherein said cube of chalk is replaceable.
16. (canceled)
17. A chalk-holder for billiard-cues system, the chalk-holder for billiard-cues system comprising: a chalk holder having; a receptacle including; an inner volume; and a securing member integral to the receptacle, the securing member having a threaded shaft able to thread into a threaded bore of the billiards-cue system, the threaded shaft having a diameter less than that of the receptacle; wherein said receptacle is configured at a first-end of said chalk holder and said securing member is configured at a second-end of said chalk holder; wherein said inner volume is configured to store chalk for removeable use; wherein the receptacle comprises a semi-rigid material for retaining the chalk; and wherein said inner volume of said receptacle is configured to receive a cube of chalk; wherein said inner volume comprises a cylindrical-shape; wherein said cube of chalk is friction-fit within said inner volume during use; wherein outer edges of said cube of chalk touch walls of said inner volume during use keeping said cube of chalk friction-fit within said inner volume; wherein said receptacle comprises a receptacle-depth to receive said cube of chalk, said cube of chalk being flush with an outer rim of said receptacle during use; wherein said cube of chalk is removeable; wherein said cube of chalk is replaceable; wherein said securing member is configured to engage and be secured at a handle-end of a pool cue for providing ready access to said chalk; wherein said securing member comprises threading; wherein said handle-end comprises an aperture configured to mate with said threading of said securing member; wherein said aperture comprises a substantially similar aperture-diameter to a securing-member-diameter; wherein said aperture comprises a depth suitable to receive said chalk holder and provide a flush connection; wherein said receptacle includes a cylindrical profile; wherein said receptacle is semi-rigid; and wherein said chalk holder is attachable to a standard said pool cue.
