Abstract
A protective perfume case for protecting a perfume bottle includes a top case and a bottom case. The top case has a top perimeter and the top perimeter has a channel. The top case forms an upper cavity. The bottom case has a bottom perimeter and the bottom perimeter has a lip that is selectively engageable within the channel of the top perimeter. The bottom case forms a lower cavity. An upper foam insert is coupled to the top case within the upper cavity. A lower foam insert is coupled to the bottom case within the lower cavity. The upper foam insert and the lower foam insert are configured to receive a perfume bottle therebetween.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0018] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0019] As best illustrated in
[0020] A hinge 42 is coupled to each of the top case 12 and the bottom case 26 and is coupled to the top back edge 18 and the bottom back edge 36. The hinge 42 allows the top case 12 to pivot relative the bottom case 26 between a closed position 44 with the lip 30 selectively engaged within the channel 16 and an alternate open position 46 with the top perimeter 14 and the bottom perimeter 28 being coplanar.
[0021] A plurality of hinge springs 48 may be coupled to the hinge 42 with each of the plurality of hinge springs 48 engaging each of the top case 12 and the bottom case 26 to maintain the closed position 44. A closure 50 is coupled to the bottom front edge 38 of the bottom case 26. The closure 50 is selectively engageable with the top case 12 to maintain the closed position 44. An upper foam insert 52 is coupled within the upper cavity 24 of the top case 12. The upper foam insert 52 has an upper bottle cutout 54. A lower foam insert 56 is coupled within the lower cavity 40 of the bottom case 26. The lower foam insert 56 has a lower bottle cutout 58. The upper foam insert 52 and the lower foam insert 56 are configured to receive a perfume bottle 60 within the upper bottle cutout 54 and the lower bottle cutout 58.
[0022] In use, the perfume bottle 60 is inserted in the lower bottle cutout 58 and the top case 12 is moved to the closed position 44 to protect the perfume bottle 60.
[0023] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0024] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word comprising is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article a does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
