Abstract
A quick delivery air pump for faster pumping includes a pump body. The pump body is cylindrical and has a top side having a shaft aperture and a bottom side having a valve aperture. A plunger shaft is coupled within the shaft aperture. The plunger shaft has a handle end outside the pump body and a disc end within the pump body. A disc is coupled to the disc end of the plunger shaft and has an outer perimeter proximal the pump body. A seal ring is coupled around the outer perimeter and contacts the pump body. A hose fitting is coupled within the valve aperture. A valve is coupled within the hose fitting to restrict airflow to move only from the pump body through the hose fitting. An air hose is coupled to the hose fitting and is configured to attach to a tire valve.
Claims
1. A quick delivery air pump comprising: a pump body, the pump body being cylindrical, the pump body having a top side and a bottom side, the top side having a shaft aperture and the bottom side having a valve aperture; a plunger shaft coupled to the pump body, the plunger shaft being coaxially and slidably coupled within the shaft aperture, the plunger shaft having a handle end outside the pump body and a disc end within the pump body; a handle coupled to the plunger shaft, the handle being coupled to the handle end; a disc coupled to the plunger shaft, the disc being coupled to the disc end, the disc having an outer perimeter proximal the pump body; a seal ring coupled to the disc, the seal ring being continuously coupled around the outer perimeter, the seal ring slidably contacting the pump body; a hose fitting coupled to the pump body, the hose fitting being coupled within the valve aperture; a valve coupled to the hose fitting, the valve being coupled within the hose fitting, the valve restricting airflow to move only from the pump body through the hose fitting; and an air hose coupled to the hose fitting, the air hose being configured to attach to a tire valve.
2. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising an air tube extension, the air tube extension being coupled to the air hose, the air tube extension being configured to attach to the tire valve.
3. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising a pair of tube clips coupled to the pump body, the pair of tube clips selectively receiving the air tube extension to secure the air tube extension in a stored position.
4. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising the hose fitting being barbed, the barbed hose fitting receiving the air hose with a pressure fit.
5. The quick delivery air pump of claim 2 further comprising the air tube extension being configured to attach to a Presta valve and a Schrader valve.
6. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising the handle being perpendicularly coupled to the plunger shaft.
7. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising the plunger shaft being tubular.
8. The quick delivery air pump of claim 1 further comprising the pump body having a length, the length being 30 cm and 46 cm.
9. A quick delivery air pump comprising: a pump body, the pump body being cylindrical, the pump body having a top side and a bottom side, the top side having a shaft aperture and the bottom side having a valve aperture, the pump body having a length, the length being 30 cm and 46 cm; a plunger shaft coupled to the pump body, the plunger shaft being coaxially and slidably coupled within the shaft aperture, the plunger shaft being tubular, the plunger shaft having a handle end outside the pump body and a disc end within the pump body; a handle coupled to the plunger shaft, the handle being perpendicularly coupled to the handle end; a disc coupled to the plunger shaft, the disc being coupled to the disc end, the disc having an outer perimeter proximal the pump body; a seal ring coupled to the disc, the seal ring being continuously coupled around the outer perimeter, the seal ring slidably contacting the pump body; a hose fitting coupled to the pump body, the hose fitting being coupled within the valve aperture, the hose fitting being barbed; a valve coupled to the hose fitting, the valve being coupled within the hose fitting, the valve restricting airflow to move only from the pump body through the hose fitting; an air hose coupled to the hose fitting, the air hose being coupled with a pressure fit; an air tube extension coupled to the air hose, the air tube extension being configured to attach to a tire valve including, but not limited to, a Presta valve and a Schrader valve; and a pair of tube clips coupled to the pump body, the pair of tube clips selectively receiving the air tube extension to secure the air tube extension in a stored position.
Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
[0010] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0015]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0017] As best illustrated in
[0018] In use, the air tube extension 44 is attached to the tire valve 46 and the plunger shaft 24 is pumped using the handle 30.
[0019] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0020] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word comprising is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article a does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
