Abstract
A device (1) incorporated into in plastic material closure (7) for containers (4) featured by its novel arrangement. It consists of parallel vertical walls, preferably of square, rectangular section, or of another shape, with a tilting lid (3) inside. That lid, when at rest position (6), leans against the opposite vertical wall to determine the closing of the hole thanks to the symmetry between the walls and moves to an open position (8) when exerting pressure on the walls of the container (4). The closing position (6) is achieved when the pressure on the container stops.
Claims
1. Self-closing device for closures in plastic material applied to containers, which makes up a single piece with the closure, and consists of four vertical, parallel walls. The whole setting thus forms a square cross-section pitch or of any other geometric figure. Inside there is a tilting lid whose rotation axis is found between the lower part of the orifice and fitting the vertical side walls. The tilting lid in the orifice closes and rests leaning on the opposite vertical wall when at rest. At that point, the leaning arrangement of the tilting lid enables its turning radius to be narrowed to the maximum when the opening operation occurs; and the content dosage is equal to that produced when it stops pouring. Then, the tilting lid returns to its initial rest and closing position. It is typical for the tilting lid to slide tightly along the side walls, allowing it to keep the orifice always clean on its stroke.
2. Self-closing device in compliance with claim 1: should hinge-type closures be used for flexible containers, the arrangement of the tilting lid leaning on the upper part of the opposite vertical wall, performs the dosing functions in a simple way by pressing the flexible container externally. The pressure tilts the lid to an upright position, allowing simultaneously to perform the shut-off function with the immediate return of the tilting lid to its initial closing position when the above container is not pressed, given the memory of the plastic material used in its manufacture and the suction exerted by the air when entering the container.
3. A self-closing device in compliance with claim 1, where the hinge-closure lid has a complementary geometry appendix which ensures a double closure of the container, guaranteeing its water tightness, especially when it is placed face down.
4. A self-closing device in compliance with claim 1, where the sections thereof and their depth may vary depending on the features of the of the container neck to which it adapts, and to the requirements of the product held to fulfil the function of the closing device.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
[0019]
[0020]
[0021] This specific arrangement of the orifice and of the tilting lid (3) enables the tilting lid (3) to open (8), both on exerting and stopping exerting pressure on the walls of the flexible container (4). This movement ensures the correct dispense of the held product and the shutting-off as the turn guarantees the cleaning of the remaining waste on the parallel walls (2) subject matter of the invention.
