Abstract
A back board and a method of holding a skateboard on a person's back are described. A back board can include a magnet infused skateboard or a magnet mounting assembly, attached to a skateboard. A back-mounted magnet infused holster, wherein, wearing the back-mounted magnet infused holster under or over clothing, the first magnet in or on the skateboard is configured so that together with the second magnet in the holster, the skateboard will hold to the back of ones back when placed.
Claims
1. A back board, comprising: a magnet infused skateboard, or magnet mounting assembly; a back-mounted magnet infused holster; wherein the first magnet in or on the skateboard is configured so that together with the second magnet in the back-mounted magnet infused holster, the skateboard will hold to the back-mounted magnet infused holster.
2. The back board according to claim 1 wherein said back-mounted magnet infused holster further comprises polyester webbing connected to said magnet infused holster
3. The back board according to claim 2 wherein said polyester webbing is adjustably connected to said back-mounted magnet infused holster, for comfortably holding said magnet infused housing to a user's back.
4. The back board according to claim 3 further comprising tri-bar adjustable webbing sliders connected to said polyester webbing near said magnet infused holster.
5. The back board according to claim 2 wherein said polyester webbing is held together with nylon thread.
6. The back board according to claim 1 wherein said first and second magnets comprise neodymium magnets.
7. The back board according to claim 1 wherein said first and second magnets have a same diameter.
8. A method of using a back board, the method comprising: providing a back board, comprising: a magnet infused skateboard, or magnet mounting assembly; a back-mounted magnet infused holster; providing a first magnet in said magnet infused skateboard, or attaching magnet mounting assembly on a skateboard; and placing said skateboard on said users back wherein said first magnet and second magnet together hold said skateboards on said users back.
9. The method according to claim 8 wherein said attaching a magnet mounting assembly on a skateboard is achieved using a standard #10, 1.5 long skateboard screw and nut.
10. The method according to claim 8 wherein said first magnet in or on a skateboard is configured so that together with a second magnet housed in the back-mounted magnet infused holster, the skateboard will hold onto users back given they are wearing the back-mounted magnet infused holster above or underneath formal clothing.
11. A method of using a back-mounted magnet infused holster, comprising the steps of: providing the back-mounted magnet infused holster; and attaching a magnet-containing object to said back-mounted magnet infused holster; wherein said magnet-containing object comprises an umbrella, guitar, lawn chair or handbag.
12. A magnet infused skateboard, comprising: a magnet installed within a cavity in surface of said skateboard.
13. The device according to claim 12 wherein said magnet is a neodymium magnet.
14. A method of infusing a magnet within a skateboard's deck comprising: boring a cavity into the top surface of said skateboard wherein said cavity does not go all the way through said skateboard; placing a magnet into said cavity wherein a top surface of said magnet is flush with said top surface of said skateboard; and covering said top surface of said skateboard with grip tape to hide said magnet from view.
15. The method according to claim 14 wherein said magnet is placed flush within skateboard cavity is held with a flexible epoxy adhesive.
16. A magnet mounting assembly, comprising: a predrilled, plastic coated magnet with corresponding screw formed through said predrilled, plastic coated magnet and connected to a nut, for attachment to an object.
17. The magnet mounting assembly of claim 16, wherein said screw and nut are a standard #10, 1.5 long skateboard hardware.
18. The magnet mounting assembly of claim 16, wherein said object is a skateboard.
19. A method of connecting a magnet mounting assembly to a skateboard comprising: positioning a predrilled, plastic coated magnet on a top surface of a skateboard directly above a screw hole; placing a screw through the predrilled plastic coated magnet and through the skateboard; and tightening a nut at end of said screw, to hold said predrilled plastic coated magnet to said top surface of said skateboard.
20. The method according to claim 19 wherein when positioning said predrilled, plastic coated magnet on the top surface of the skateboard, placing the magnet in a correct orientation to attract a corresponding magnet polarity on users back, and not repel it.
