    Abstract

The present invention relates to a makeup accessory consisting of a container formed by a round or square powder compact-type case (1), with a lower base (2) with an upper sinkage (3) for incorporating the product and an upper lid (4) covering the base (2), said case having at said lower base (2) an extractable compartment (7) for housing a sponge and keeping it away from contact with the product when it is not in use, which compartment is concealed inside the base (2) itself in a closed position and placed against the base (2), attached thereto, and with its upper surface being exposed and accessible in an open position. The extractable compartment (7) is a sliding part penetrating the base (2) through a front opening (8), said compartment having a stop which prevents the extraction thereof beyond a certain point in the open position and a front partition (9) closing the opening (8).

    Claims

    1. A makeup accessory formed by a powder compact-type case (1) container with a round or square layout, the container having a lower base (2) with an upper sinkage (3) defining a housing for incorporating a product, and an upper lid (4) covering the upper part of said base (2), said makeup accessory comprising: a case (1) with a lower base (2) having an extractable compartment (7) for housing a sponge and keeping said sponge away from contact with a product contained in an upper sinkage (3) of said lower base (2) when said sponge is not in use, said compartment (7) is concealed and completely housed inside the base (2) in a closed position, and in and open position, said compartment (7) remains attached to the base (2) so that an upper surface of the compartment (7) is exposed and accessible allowing the sponge to be removed and deposited.

    2. The makeup accessory according to claim 1, wherein the extractable compartment (7) is a sliding part with a layout identical or similar to the layout of the base (2), inserted into the base (2) through a front opening (8) of said base (2), said sliding part having a stop which prevents extracting said sliding part through this front opening (8) beyond a point in the open position, and with a front partition (9) closing the front opening (8) of the base (2) in the closed position.

    3. The makeup accessory according to claim 2, wherein the sliding part has a front edge with a finger notch (10) to facilitate the extraction of said sliding part.

    4. The makeup accessory according to claim 3, wherein the finger notch (10) is located in coincidence with a closure (11) of the upper lid (4).

    5. The makeup accessory according to claim 2, wherein the compartment (7) has another upper sinkage (3) defining another housing for positioning the sponge such that it is fitted therein without rising above the front opening (8) of the base (2).

    6. The makeup accessory according to claim 5, wherein the another upper sinkage (3) of the compartment (7) has one or two side recesses (12) to facilitate the extraction of the sponge.

    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0018] To complement the description that is being made and for the purpose of helping to better understand the features of the invention, a set of drawings is attached to the present specification as an integral part thereof, in which the following has been depicted in an illustrative and non-limiting manner:

[0019] FIG. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of the container constituting the makeup accessory object of the invention, depicted in an open position, where its general configuration and the main parts and elements it comprises, as well as the configuration and arrangement thereof, can be seen.

[0020] FIGS. 2-A and 2-B show respective front elevational and top plan views of the example of the container according to the invention shown in FIG. 1.

[0021] FIGS. 3-A and 3-B show respective side elevational and top plan views of the base of the container of the invention according to the example shown in the preceding figures.

[0022] FIGS. 4-A and 4-B show respective side elevational and top plan views of the lid of the container of the invention according to the example shown in the preceding figures.

[0023] FIGS. 5-A and 5-B show respective side elevational and top plan views of the compartment of the container of the invention according to the example shown in the preceding figures.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0024] In view of the mentioned drawings and according to the numbering used, there can be observed a non-limiting embodiment of the makeup accessory of the invention, which consists of a container comprising the parts and elements indicated and described in detail below.

[0025] In that sense, as seen in said drawings said container is a powder compact-type case (1) with a round or square layout which conventionally comprises a lower base (2), with an upper sinkage (3) defining a housing for incorporating the product, and an upper lid (4) which is preferably attached to the base (2) through an articulated attachment (5) to make it pivotable, which upper lid covers the upper part of said base (2) in a closed position and preferably incorporates a mirror (6) on its inner face.

[0026] Furthermore, based on said already known configuration, the case (1) is distinguished by having, at the lower base (2), an extractable compartment (7) for housing a sponge (not depicted) and keeping it away from contact with the product when it is not in use, which compartment (7) is concealed and completely housed inside the base (2) itself in a closed position, and placed against the base (2), still being attached thereto, and with its upper surface being exposed and accessible to allow extracting and putting in the sponge in an open position, as seen in FIG. 1.

[0027] Preferably, the extractable compartment (7) is a sliding part with a layout identical or similar to the layout of the base (2), penetrating the latter through a front opening (8) thereof, said part having a stop (not shown) which prevents the extraction thereof through this front opening (8) beyond a certain point in the open position, and with a front partition (9) closing the side opening (8) of the base (2) in its closed position.

[0028] Furthermore, the sliding part constituting the compartment (7) for the sponge preferably has on its front edge a finger notch (10) to facilitate the extraction thereof, which finger notch is located in coincidence with the closure (11) of the upper lid (4) of the case (1) in the preferred embodiment, such that a part of said closure (11) is in the lid (4) and the complementary part is in the compartment (7).

[0029] In any event, the compartment (7) for the sponge preferably has another upper sinkage (3) which defines a housing for locating the sponge such that it is fitted therein without rising above the front opening (8) of the base (2) through which the compartment (7) penetrates when it is closed, and which furthermore preferably has one or two side recesses (12) with respect to said upper sinkage (3) to facilitate the extraction thereof.

[0030] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to expand on this explanation so that one skilled in the art will understand its scope and the advantages derived from it, hereby stating that within its essential nature, the invention may be carried out to practice in other embodiments which differ in detail from that indicated by way of example and which will likewise attain the protection that is sought provided that its fundamental principle is not altered, changed, or modified.
