[0049] Below, embodiments of a makeup brush according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. Identical reference numeral is are given to identical or corresponding elements throughout the written description, and description regarding identical or corresponding components will not be repeated.
[0050] According to the embodiments, a makeup brush 10 used to put powdered color cosmetics etc. on faces, as illustrated in
[0051] According to the embodiments, a brush 10, provided with a pair of brushes consisting of the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220, may be used for different kinds of cosmetics, and the first cover 130 or the second cover 230 is easily opened and closed so as to selectively use the first brush part 120 or the second brush part 220 depending the use of the makeup brush.
[0052] Further, the first cover 130 and the second cover 230 slide from the lower ends of the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 towards the upper ends of the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 so as to accommodate the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220, and conversely, the first cover 130 and the second cover 230 slide from the upper ends of the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 towards the lower ends of the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 so as to expose the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220, thereby making it possible to effectively use and store the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 with no damage to the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220.
[0053] Additionally, the first body 110 and the second body 210 are separated, while the first cover 130 and the second cover 230 are coupled, such that the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 may be reliably stored inside a first through hole 132 and a second through hole 232 in the first cover 130 and the second cover 230.
[0054] Below, each element of a makeup brush 10 according to the embodiments will be described in more detail with reference to
[0055] To form a makeup brush 10 according to the embodiments, a pair of brush consisting of a body, a brush part, a cover and a coupling part respectively are symmetrically coupled, as illustrated in
[0056] The first body 110, as illustrated in
[0057] Further, the first body 110, as illustrated in
[0058] The first brush part 120, as illustrated in
[0059] In the embodiments, a first brush part 120 with a cross sectional area corresponding to the diameter of the first body 110 is presented as an example. Besides such a first brush, a first brush part 120 with a cross sectional area smaller than the diameter of the first body 110 may be formed such that the user applies eye make-up on a local area such as eyes etc. In the case of a first brush part 120 with a small cross sectional area, the first brush part 120 may be supported by a separate brush guide etc. so as to maintain the shape of the first brush part 120.
[0060] The first cover 130, as illustrated in
[0061] The first cover 130, as illustrated in
[0062] In more detail, as illustrated in
[0063] As described above, the first protruding part 136 and the first stumbling protrusion 112 are respectively formed at the first cover 130 and the first body 110, such that the first protruding parts 136 are respectively interlocked with a pair of first stumbling protrusions 112 while the first cover 130 slides. Accordingly, the sliding movement of the first cover 130 may be limited respectively at a position where the first cover accommodates the first brush part 120 therein as illustrated in
[0064] That is, if the first cover 130, as illustrated in
[0065] In this case, an area, where the first stumbling protrusion 112 is formed out of the first body 110, is configured to be elastic, and if weight load exceeding a reference value is applied to the area, an elastic deformation occurs inside the first body 110. Therefore, the first protruding part 136 may pass over the first stumbling protrusion 112 by means of weigh load over a certain level.
[0066] Herein, the elasticity of an area, where the first stumbling protrusion 112 is formed out of the first body 110, as illustrated in
[0067] The first cut part 114, as illustrated in
[0068] Further, the width of an area, where the first stumbling protrusion 112 is formed out of the first body 110, may be configured to be smaller than that of the other area. The width T1 of the area where the first stumbling protrusion 112 is formed, as illustrated in
[0069] Meanwhile, if the first cover 130, as illustrated in
[0070] The first coupling part 140, as illustrated in
[0071] In more detail, the first coupling part 140, as illustrated in
[0072] The first cap 142, as illustrated in
[0073] The first magnet 144 is coupled to the inner side of the first cap 142 so as to be accommodated in the first body 110. In the embodiments, magnetic force is used to easily couple and separate the first body 110 and the second body 210.
[0074] The second body 210 may be positioned at the lower end of the first body 110, and has the second coupling part 240 so as to be detachably coupled to the first body 110 through the coupling with and separating from the first coupling part 140.
[0075] The structures and functions of the second body 210, and a second brush part 220, a second cover 230, a second coupling part 240, all of which are coupled to the second body 210, and a second stumbling protrusion 212, a second cut part 214, a second through hole 232, a second protruding part 236, a second cap 242, a second magnet 244, all of which are detailed elements of the second brush part 220, and the second cover 230 and the second coupling part 240, are similar to or the same as those of the first body 110, the first brush part 120, the first cover 130, the first coupling part 140, the first stumbling protrusion, the first cut part 114, the first through hole 132, the first protruding part 136, the first cap 142, and the first magnet 144. Accordingly, they will not be described in detail. Instead, the structure of the upper ends of the first cover 130 and the second cover 230, and the coupling thereof that are differently configured so as to store the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220 will be described below with reference to
[0076] A pair of brushes symmetrically arranged may be re-coupled to each other in a different way after separated from each other.
[0077] That is, the first brush part 120 and the second brush part 220, as illustrated in
[0078] In this case, one end of the first cover 130, as illustrated in
[0079] The connecting groove 134, as illustrated in
[0080] An embodiment of the present invention has been described above. However, it will be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art to which the present invention pertains that the present invention may be modified and changed in various ways through the addition, modification, removal or supplement of elements without departing from the spirit of the present invention described in the appended claims.
