Pre-Formed Smoking Paper and Packaging

Abstract

A pre-rolled smoking paper and a packaging that is configured to inhibit damage to the pre-rolled smoking paper prior to use. The pre-rolled smoking paper includes a body having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is hollow and has an opening configured to receive a smoking product therein. The second portion is integrally formed with the first portion and is a filter. The pre-rolled smoking paper is provided in a plurality of sizes and shapes. Flavored oils or THC oils can be used to infuse the pre-rolled smoking paper. The packaging is designed to accommodate either a single pre-rolled smoking paper or a plurality of pre-rolled smoking papers. The packaging includes at least one storage compartment mateably sized and shaped with the pre-rolled smoking paper. The packaging further includes separate access to each storage compartment thereof.

Claims

1. A pre-formed smoking paper and packaging comprising: a pre-formed smoking paper, said pre-formed smoking paper having a body, said body of said pre-formed smoking paper having a first portion and a second portion, said pre-formed smoking paper having a hollow cavity within said first portion and having an opening providing access thereto; a packaging, said packing being formed from a plurality of walls, said plurality of walls configured to define an interior volume of the packaging, said packaging having an interior volume with a storage compartment that is mateably shaped with the body of said pre-formed smoking paper.

2. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 1, wherein said second portion is a filter.

3. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 2, wherein said packaging further includes a transparent film removably secured thereto and configured to provide access to a pre-formed smoking paper.

4. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 3, and further including a packing tool, said packing tool configured to be inserted into said hollow cavity of said first portion.

5. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 4, wherein said packing tool is provided in alternate sizes so as to accommodate various diameters of the hollow cavity of the first portion.

6. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 5, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is provided in alternate sizes.

7. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 6, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is infused with a flavored oil.

8. A pre-formed smoking paper and packaging configured to accommodate a plurality thereof comprising: a pre-formed smoking paper, said pre-formed smoking paper having a body, said body having a first end and a second end, said body of said pre-formed smoking paper having a first portion and a second portion, said first portion of said body of said pre-formed smoking paper having a hollow cavity, said first portion of said body having an opening providing access to said hollow cavity; a packaging, said packaging having at least one exterior wall defining the shape thereof, said packaging having an interior volume, said interior volume of said packaging having a plurality of horizontal dividers and a vertical divider, said horizontal dividers and vertical divider intersecting so as to form a plurality of storage compartments configured to have a pre-formed smoking paper stored therein.

9. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 8, wherein each of said storage compartment of said packaging includes an opening providing access to an interior volume of said storage compartment.

10. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 9, wherein the packaging is provided in shape selected from one of the following: cylindrical or rectangular.

11. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 10, wherein the second portion of the body of the pre-rolled smoking paper is a filter.

12. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 11, and further including a packing tool, said packing tool configured to be inserted into said hollow cavity of said first portion of said body of said pre-rolled smoking paper, said packing tool being provided within said packaging.

13. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 12, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is infused with a flavored oil.

14. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 13, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is provided in alternate sizes and wherein each of the storage compartments of the packaging are sized to accommodate.

15. A pre-formed smoking paper and packaging configured to accommodate at least one of the pre-formed smoking papers therein comprising: a pre-formed smoking paper, said pre-formed smoking paper having a body, said body having a first end and a second end, said body of said pre-formed smoking paper having a first portion and a second portion, said first portion of said body of said pre-formed smoking paper having a hollow cavity, said first portion of said body having an opening providing access to said hollow cavity, said second portion of said body being a filter, said first portion and said second portion of said body being integrally formed; a packaging, said packaging having at least one exterior wall defining the shape thereof, said packaging having an interior volume, said interior volume of said packaging having a plurality of horizontal dividers and a vertical divider, said horizontal dividers and vertical divider intersecting so as to form a plurality of storage compartments configured to have a pre-formed smoking paper stored therein; and a packing tool, said packing tool having a first end and a second end, said packing tool configured to be inserted into said hollow cavity of said first portion of said body of said pre-rolled smoking paper, said packing tool being provided within said packaging.

16. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 15, wherein the packing tool includes a middle portion, said middle portion of said packing tool being a diameter that is less than that of the diameter of the first end and second end of the packing tool.

17. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 16, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is infused with a THC oil.

18. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 17, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is provided in sizes ranging from one inch to one foot and wherein the packaging is sized to accommodate therein.

19. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 18, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is infused with a flavored oil.

20. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging as recited in claim 19, wherein the pre-formed smoking paper is provided in alternate sizes.

[0029] Referring to the Figures herein, the pre-formed smoking paper and packaging 100 includes a pre-formed smoking paper 10. The pre-formed smoking paper 10 is manufactured from a suitable smoking paper material such as but not limited to non-wood plant fibers to include but not limited to flax, hemp, sisal or rice straw. The pre-formed smoking paper 10 includes a body 11 that is cylindrical in shape having a first end 12 and a second end 14. The body includes a first portion 16 and second portion 18 wherein the first portion 16 includes a hollow cavity 19 accessible via opening 17. The first portion 16 is configured so as to receive and store therein a suitable product for ignition and smoking thereof such as but not limited to tobacco or cannabis. The second portion 18 of the body 11 is integrally formed with the first portion 16. The second portion 18 of the body 11 is operable to provide filtration of the smoke during inhalation of the ignited product disposed in the hollow cavity of the first portion 16 of the body 11. While it is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the second portion 18 could be manufactured from numerous different materials operable to provide filtration of smoke passing therethrough, good results have been achieved utilizing a second portion 18 being comprised substantially of cellulose acetate.

[0030] The body 11 is provided in a pre-formed cylindrical shape as depicted herein in FIG. 1. The pre-formed cylindrical shape offers a user a ready to use pre-formed smoking paper 10 that can be quickly and easily filled with a desired product for smoking. FIG. 2 is a graphical representation of an alternative embodiment of FIG. 1 wherein the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2 is identical to that illustrated and discussed in FIG. 1 except the size of the body 11 is larger. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the pre-formed smoking paper 10 could be provided in various alternate sizes such as but not limited to the illustrations depicted herein in Figures and 2. While no size provisions are required, it is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the pre-formed smoking paper 10 could be provided in sizes ranging from one inch to one foot in length wherein the diameter of each size could further be provided in alternate diameters.

[0031] Illustrated herein in FIGS. 3 and 4 are the packing tool 20 of the present invention. The packing tool 20 includes a body 21 having a first end 22 and a second end 23. The body 21 is formed so as to have a diameter in the middle portion 24 thereof that is less than that of the diameter of the first end 22 and second end 23. The reduced diameter of the middle portion 24 is operable to provide an improved grip with the packing tool 20 during use and offer a reduced weight. The first end 22 and second end 23 of the packing tool 20 are manufactured to a diameter that is the exact size of the inner diameter of the hollow cavity 19 of the first portion 16 of the body 11 of the pre-formed smoking paper 10. The aforementioned identical diameters provide efficient packing of loose smoking material into the hollow cavity 19. A user will deposit a portion of material into the hollow cavity 19 and subsequently insert the packing tool 20 moving the packing tool 20 towards the second portion 18 so as to compress the product within the hollow cavity 19 of the first portion 16. This is repeated until the desired amount of product is packed into the hollow cavity 19 of the first portion 16 of the body 11 of the pre-formed smoking paper 10. FIGS. 3 and 4 provide graphical representation of alternate sizes contemplated within the scope of the present invention that would be mateable with the pre-formed smoking paper 10 illustrated herein in FIGS. 1 and 2. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the packing tool 20 could be manufactured from various suitable materials and be provided in a length and diameter so as to be utilized with a corresponding size of pre-formed smoking paper 10.

[0032] FIGS. 6 thru 9 submitted as a part hereof illustrate therein alternative embodiments of the packaging 40 of the pre-formed smoking paper and packaging 100. It is desired within the scope of the present invention that the packaging 40 is provided to ensure the integrity of the pre-formed smoking paper 10 so as to inhibit damage thereto prior to use. The pre-formed smoking paper and packaging 100 provides embodiments of the packaging 40 that offer either a single compartment for a pre-formed smoking paper 10 or multiple compartments for a plurality of pre-formed smoking paper 10. Referring in particular to FIG. 6 the packaging 40 includes body 41 that is rectangular in shape and is manufactured from a suitable material such as but not limited to cardboard. The body 41 includes a plurality of horizontal dividers 43 and vertical dividers 44 that intersect to form a plurality of storage compartments 42. The pre-formed smoking papers 10 are releasably stored within each of the storage compartments 42 and are isolated from each other through the structure of the horizontal dividers 43 and vertical dividers 44. This provides a unique method of storing the pre-formed rolling paper 10 so as to inhibit the probability that the pre-formed rolling paper 10 would be crushed or damaged prior to utilization thereof. Each storage compartment 42 is separately accessible via independent openings 46. Each opening 46 has mounted thereover a transparent film that is separable from the body 41 so as to provide access to each storage compartment 42 individually in order to access a single pre-formed rolling paper 10. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the body 41 could have various elements that would provide individualized access to each storage compartment 42 either in addition to or in conjunction with the elements discussed herein.

[0033] FIG. 8 is similarly constructed as the packaging 40 in FIG. 6 with the exception of the exterior shape of the packaging 40. FIG. 8 provides a graphical representation of a body 41 that is cylindrical in shape. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that alternative shapes to rectangular or cylindrical could be utilized to provide a packaging 40 configured to retain a plurality of pre-formed smoking papers 10.

[0034] FIG. 7 provides graphical representation of a packaging 40 that is configured to receive and store a single pre-formed smoking paper 10. The body 50 is manufactured similarly to body 41 with the exception that the storage compartment 52 is formed by the exterior walls 53. An opening 54 provides access to the storage compartment 52 and is accessible through removal of a transparent film 55. It should be understood within the scope of the present invention that the body 50 could be provided in numerous alternate sizes so as to accommodate a pre-formed smoking paper 10 of alternate sizes.

[0035] FIG. 5 illustrates an exemplary stack of the smoking papers 5 of the present invention that are provided in a conventional format. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the smoking papers 5 and the pre-formed smoking paper 10 could be infused with a variety of substances. By way of example but not limitation, it is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the smoking papers 5 and the pre-formed smoking paper 10 could be infused with flavored oils. Additionally, it is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the smoking papers 5 and the pre-formed smoking paper 10 could be infused with a THC based oil.

In this embodiment of the present invention, a packing tool 20 is disposed within the packaging 40. It should be understood that the packing tool 20 would be of suitable size to execute the desired actions as previously described herein for the packing tool 20.
