[0018] The terms used herein generally have their ordinary meanings in the art. In the case of conflict, the present document, including any definitions given herein, will prevail. The same thing can be expressed in more than one way. Alternative language and synonyms can be used for any term(s) discussed herein, and no special significance is to be placed upon whether a term is elaborated or discussed herein. The use of examples anywhere in this specification including examples of any terms is illustrative only, and in no way limits the scope and meaning of the present disclosure or of any exemplified term. Likewise, the present disclosure is not limited to various embodiments given herein. Numbering terms such as first, second or third can be used to describe various components, signals or the like, which are for distinguishing one component/signal from another one only, and are not intended to, nor should be construed to impose any substantive limitations on the components, signals or the like.
[0019] Reference is made to
[0020] The present disclosure discloses a pet gear assembly that is assembled with paper boards and paper posts. Referring to
[0021] The two main boards 20 can be boards with a rectangular shape or other geometrical shapes, and are spaced part from each other by a distance and parallel to each other. A plurality of through holes 21 are formed in the two main boards 20 and are respectively formed near the peripheral edges of the two main boards 20, and the positions of each of the through holes on one of the main boards respectively correspond with the positions of each of the through holes on another one of the main boards.
[0022] The plurality of supporting posts 30 are disposed between the two main boards 20, and two ends of each of the supporting posts 30 respectively pass through two corresponding ones of the through holes 21 on each of the main boards 20. In this embodiment, the through holes 21 are round holes, and the supporting posts 30 are cylindrical posts to allow the supporting posts 30 to be sleeved through the through holes 21. In order to stabilize the sleeved connection between the supporting posts 30 and the through holes 21, the outer diameter of the supporting posts 30 are designed to be slightly larger than or equal to the inner diameter of the through holes 21, so that the supporting posts 30 and the through holes 21 can be sleevingly connected in a stable manner by virtue of frictional interference therebetween, and the supporting posts 30 are not easily detached from the through holes 21. Aside from the frictional interference, other methods of stably fixing the supporting posts 30 to the through holes 21 can also be implemented, such as applying an adhesive to the conjoining areas between the supporting posts 30 and the through holes 21, or disposing engaging structures such as a flange or a bump at the conjoining areas for engagement therebetween.
[0023] Referring to
[0024] In addition, a plurality of first engaging flanges 41 are respectively disposed at the top and bottom sides of the side boards 40, and a plurality of second engaging flanges 42 are respectively disposed at the left and right sides of the side boards 40. In this embodiment, the first and second engaging flanges 41, 42 are respectively formed as a protrusion, and respectively protrude from the top and bottom sides of the side boards 40, and the left and right sides of the side boards 40. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the shapes of the first and second engaging flanges 41, 42 are identical to each other, but in other embodiments of the present disclosure, the first and second engaging flanges 41, 42 can have different shapes.
[0025] Referring to
[0026] As shown in
[0027] Various types of pet equipment can be placed in the box unit 10 to form a different kind of pet gear. For example, when a cushion is placed in the box unit 10, a pet gear for resting can be formed; when a scratching board for cats is placed in the box unit 10, a pet house for playing or perching can be formed, or when a litter box for cats is placed in the box unit 10, a pet potty house can be formed.
[0028] Referring to
[0029] Referring to
[0030] Referring to
[0031] In this embodiment, the outer diameter of the flange portion 322 of the sleeve element 32 is equal to the outer diameter of the supporting post 30, so that when the sleeve element 32 and the supporting post 30 are sleeved together, the outer side surface of the flange portion 322 of the sleeve element 32 can be flush with the outer side surface of the supporting post 30. Therefore, an integral appearance with a single diameter can be presented when two of the supporting posts 30 are joined together, so that the plurality of supporting posts 30 can be joined together through the sleeve elements 32 to lengthen the supporting posts 30.
[0032] Referring to the embodiment of
[0033] In this embodiment, after the sleeve portion 321 of the sleeve element 32 passes through the through hole 21 of the main board 20, the sleeve portion 321 is sleeved into another one of the supporting posts 30. This supporting post 30 can further have an end sleeved around another one of the sleeve elements 32 that in turn connects with the through hole 21 of another one of the main boards 20. Therefore, the main boards 20 and the supporting posts 30 of the present embodiment can be joined together via the sleeve elements 32 and form a stacked structure with multiple box units 10.
[0034] In sum, the pet gear assembly of the present disclosure has a stronger structural integrity than the conventional paper-made pet gear assembly, is not easily damaged, and can have a prolonged lifespan. Furthermore, the pet gear assembly of the present disclosure has a simple structure, can be easily assembled, and can allow pet owners to assemble the pet gear assembly themselves so as to increase the convenience of use thereof.
[0035] The foregoing description of the exemplary embodiments of the disclosure has been presented only for the purposes of illustration and description and is not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the disclosure to the precise forms disclosed. Many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching.
[0036] The embodiments were chosen and described in order to explain the principles of the disclosure and their practical application so as to enable others skilled in the art to utilize the disclosure and various embodiments and with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated. Alternative embodiments will become apparent to those skilled in the art to which the present disclosure pertains without departing from its spirit and scope.
