Abstract

An adjustable shower device includes a water diversion valve body, a water inlet pipe, and more than one water outlet pipe. The water diversion valve body has a water inlet and more than one water outlet. The water inlet pipe is fixedly connected to the water inlet of the water diversion valve body. An inlet end of the more than one water outlet pipe is connected to the more than one water outlet. Because the water outlet pipe is a universal pipe that is a bendable metal shaping hose, the shower head on the water pipe can be swung to any height, which is more convenient for use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

(10) Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

(11) As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, an adjustable shower device according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises a water diversion valve body 1, a water inlet pipe 2, a first water outlet pipe 3, a second water outlet pipe 4, a pipe joint 5, and a shower head 6.

(12) The water diversion valve body 1 is a three-way valve which has a water inlet 11 and two water outlets 12, 13.

(13) The water inlet pipe 2 is fixedly connected to the water inlet 11 of the water diversion valve body 1. An inlet end of the first water outlet pipe 3 is connected to the water outlet 12 facing up of the water diversion valve body 1. An outlet end of the first water outlet pipe 3 is connected to the shower head 6.

(14) In conjunction with FIG. 6, an inlet end of the second water outlet pipe 4 is connected to the water outlet 13 facing down of the water diversion valve body 1. An outlet end of the second water outlet pipe 4 is connected to the pipe joint 5. The pipe joint 5 is provided with a socket 51 for receiving a handheld shower head 10. The pipe joint 5 has a water passage 52 therein. The water passage 52 communicates with the second water outlet pipe 4. The pipe joint 5 may be connected with a hose 7. The pipe joint 5 is connected with the handheld shower head 10 through the hose 7.

(15) The first water outlet pipe 3 and the second water outlet pipe 4 are universal pipes. The universal pipe is a metal shaping hose, which can be bent freely and retained after swinging to any position.

(16) As shown in FIG. 9, a pipe body 81 of the universal pipe 8 is a stainless steel stripwound hose, that is, a stainless steel corrugated pipe. The pipe body has a water channel therein. Two ends of the pipe body are connected with connecters 82 each having an inner screw thread or an outer screw thread. The exterior of the stainless steel corrugated pipe is wrapped with an outer pipe 83 formed of silicone; or it may not be wrapped with the outer tube.

(17) As shown in FIG. 1, when in use, the user can swing the shower head 6 on the first water outlet pipe 3 to a height suitable for the user according to his/her height. Furthermore, according to the distance between the water distribution valve body 1 and the wall, the pipe joint 5 having the socket on the second water outlet pipe 4 can be swung outward to a position suitable for insertion of the handheld shower head 10.

(18) As shown in FIG. 7, a second embodiment of the present invention is substantially similar to the first embodiment, comprising a water diversion valve body 1, a water inlet pipe 2, a first water outlet pipe 3, a second water outlet pipe 4, and a pipe joint 5. The difference between the first embodiment and the second embodiment is that the first water outlet pipe 3 is a non-bendable metal pipe.

(19) As shown in FIG. 8, a third embodiment of the present invention is substantially similar to the first embodiment with the exceptions described hereinafter. The outlet end of the second water outlet pipe 4 may be directly connected with the hose 7. The inner end of a socket 5 for insertion of the handheld shower head is directly clamped on the second water outlet pipe 4. The handheld shower head 10 can be inserted in the slot 51 at the outer end of the socket 5.

(20) It should be noted that the structure of the water diversion valve body 1 may have a water inlet 11 and two water outlets 12, 13 as shown in this embodiment, or it may have a water inlet and more than two water outlets.

(21) The main feature of the present invention is that the first water outlet pipe and the second water outlet pipe may be a universal pipe.

(22) Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
