    Abstract

    A male swimming trunk is disclosed. A waistband coupled to a front portion and a back portion for a male person; wherein the front portion includes a sealable opening portion on an inside of the male swimming trunk, wherein the sealable opening portion is in front of a genitalia area of the male person; the sealable opening portion is configured to receive a cup to cover up the genitalia area of the male person, wherein the cup is configured to keep the genitalia area of the male person from being exposed; and the cup includes a small hole to receive a bright colored string that is coupled to the male swimming trunk.

    Claims

    1. A male swimming trunk comprising: a waistband coupled to a front portion and a back portion for a male person; wherein the front portion includes a sealable opening portion on an inside of the male swimming trunk, wherein the sealable opening portion is in front of a genitalia area of the male person; the sealable opening portion is configured to receive a cup to cover up the genitalia area of the male person, wherein the cup is configured to keep the genitalia area of the male person from being exposed; and the cup includes a small hole to receive a bright colored string that is coupled to the male swimming trunk.

    2. The male swimming trunk of claim 1 wherein the cup is made of Styrofoam.

    3. The male swimming trunk of claim 1 wherein the cup is a small floating device.

    4. The male swimming trunk of claim 1 wherein the cup can be used as a SOS signal

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0009] The presently preferred embodiments of the invention are described with reference to the drawings, where like components are identified with the same numerals. The descriptions of the preferred embodiments are exemplary and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention.

    [0010] FIG. 1 shows a swimming trunk. A swimming trunk 100 has a typical waistband 101, a pocket 103 and a cup 105. The swimming trunk is a typical male bathing suit that may be from above a man's knees to extend below his knee. Swimming trunk 100 includes a frontal pocket 103 where a cup 105 can be easily inserted into it. Frontal pocket 103 is located directly in front of the male's genitalia or private area. Swimming trunk 100 may or may not contain side pockets and back pocket as typical swimming trunks have. This pocket 103 may have a closure that has a Velcro snatch and catch area or a zipper to close the pocket. Pocket 103 has a diameter of approximate 1-4 inches to hold the cup 105. Cup 105 may be made of Styrofoam, where the cup is the device that keeps the male genitalia from being exposed when his swimming trunk 100 gets wet. Also, cup 105 may be made of any floatable material. The reason cup 105 is made of Styrofoam because it is a breathable material that also floats, which is another utilization of the cup 105 to float. The swimming trunk 100 may also be referred to as privacy trunk, which are also multi-purpose swimming trunks where the cup 105 place inside the frontal pocket will be made in bright noticeable colors. Since the cup 105 can also be a floating device it will be helpful that the cup 105 is colorful so it can be identified in a large body of water or as an SOS signal for help. There is one additional colored string 107 that is attached through the loop of the trunk 100 where the original draw string is placed or somewhere along an inside liner or waistband 101 of the swimming trunk 100, but there may be a plurality of colored strings utilized in place of the colored string 107. The colored string 107 may have any one of the following colors yellow, green, red, orange, blue or any color that is viewable from a far-away distance. Further, the color string 107 may have a length in the range of 5 to 30 inches. Also, the cup 105 will have a small hole 105a, so in the event of an emergency a person can take the additional bright colored string 107 and put it through the hole 105a of the cup 105 and wrap it around his leg, arm or wrist, any other body part or whatever it is that he/she wants to float so it can be seen as a distress signal.

    [0011] FIG. 2 shows a female swimsuit. A swimsuit 200 or bathing suit 200 has a top portion 201 and a bottom portion 207. Swimsuit 200 may also be referred to as a typical bikini with a top portion 201 and a bottom portion 207. The top portion 201 has a left side 203 holding a left breast of a female connected to a right side 205 holding a right breast of the female. Left side 203 includes a front pocket 203a and right side 205 includes a front pocket 205a, which is similar to pocket 103 described above that has a snap and catch Velcro or a zipper closure. Pockets 203a and 205a includes a Styrofoam cups 203b and 205b, which has a diameter of about 1-10 com corresponding to the size of the pockets 203a and 205a according to the size of the female's breast size.

    [0012] Bottom portion 207 includes a frontal pocket 207a, which is like pocket 103 described above that has a snap and catch Velcro or zipper closure. Pocket 207a includes a Styrofoam cup 207b, which has a diameter if a range of 1-5 cm. Pocket 207a is located directly in front of the female's genitalia or private area to prevent the female genitalia from being exposed. Cups 203b, 205b and 207b may be made of Styrofoam, where the cups 203b, 205b and 207b are the devices that keeps the female genitalia from being exposed when her swimsuit 200 gets wet. The reason cups 203b, 20b5 and 207b are made of Styrofoam because it is a breathable material when wet and can also float, which is another utilization of the cups 203b, 205b and 207b.

    [0013] However, the Styrofoam cups 203b, 205b and 207b may be replaced with any type of floatable material. The swimsuit 200 may also be referred to as privacy trunk, which are also multi-purpose swimsuit where the cup 207b place inside the frontal pocket 207a will be made in bright noticeable colors. Since the cup 207b can also be a floating device it will be helpful that the cup 207b is colorful, so it can be identified in a large body of water as an SOS signal for help. There is an additional colored string 209 that is attached through the loop of the bottom portion 207 where the original draw string is placed. Also, the cup 207b will have a small hole 207c made within the cup 207b, so in the event of an emergency a person can take the additional bright colored string and put it through the hole 207c of the cup 207b and wrap it around her leg or wrist or whatever it is that he/she wants to float.

    [0014] This invention provides a simple and effective swimming suit that prevents a male or woman wearing the swimming suit from being exposed when the swimsuit becomes wet and stick to the person's body. The swimsuit for the man and woman includes breathable cups inserted into various pockets of the respective swimsuits for men and women in order to prevent the men or women's genitalia from being exposed. In addition, the breathable cups on the swimsuit can be utilized to provide an SOS signal.
