    Abstract

A weight-lift assembly is provided for an article of foot strap, comprising a base member, which comprises an upper surface and a lower surface, and attachable to a feet portion; at least one fastening member adapted to secure said weight-lift base member to footwear, and wherein said weight-lift base member is adapted to raise the weight-portion by a predetermined amount with respect to a toe portion, and wherein the weight-lift base member is adapted to provide structural support to a foot over the entire raised weight-portion.

    Claims

    1. A weight lift assembly for an article of foot strap, comprising: A lift base member, comprising an upper surface and a lower surface, and attachable to a foot of an outsole; At least one first fastening member adapted to secure said weight-lift base member to the outsole of an article of footwear, and Wherein said lift base member is adapted to raise the feet portion by a predetermined amount with respect to a toe portion of the outsole, and wherein the lift base member is adapted to provide structural support to a foot over the entire raised heel portion. A weight-lift assembly according to claim 1, wherein said at least one first fastening member comprises a lip, protruding from an outer edge of the said upper surface, and adapted to and fixedly engage with the foot portion of the outsole. A weight-lift assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a second fastening member adapted to fixedly engage said weight-lift base member with an upper of the article of footwear. A weight-lift assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a passage through said weight-lift base member, adapted to receive and engage said second fastening member. A weight-lift assembly according to claim 1, using a pulling motion while seated or lying is also an option by attaching a weight machine cable to the D-ring that is attached to the bottom of the strap.

    Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

[0019] The accompanying figures, where like reference numerals refer to identical or functionally similar elements throughout the separate views, together with the detailed description below, are incorporated in and form part of the specification, and serve to further illustrate embodiments of concepts that include the claimed invention, and explain various principles and advantages of those embodiments.

[0020] FIG. 1 is a top view of a weight lifting strap of the current invention.

[0021] FIG. 2 is a front view of a weight lifting strap use by user

[0022] FIG. 3 is showing weight lifting strap adjusted by user

[0023] FIG. 4 is showing usability of weight lifting strap by user once ready

[0024] Skilled artisans will appreciate that elements in the figures are illustrated for simplicity and clarity and have not necessarily been drawn to scale. For example, the dimensions of some of the elements in the figures may be exaggerated relative to other elements to help to improve understanding of embodiments of the present invention.

[0025] The apparatus and method components have been represented where appropriate by conventional symbols in the drawings, showing only those specific details that are pertinent to understanding the embodiments of the present invention so as not to obscure the disclosure with details that will be readily apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art having the benefit of the description herein.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0026] Detailed descriptions of the preferred embodiment are provided herein. It is to be understood, however, that the present invention may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but rather as a basis for the claims and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art to employ the present invention in virtually any appropriately detailed system, structure or manner.

[0027] Referring specifically to the drawings, the band is generally of accurate configuration. The band is made of suitable material. The band is placed around the feet so that it fits the natural contour of the feet and rests around the surface of the foot, the band being larger at the bottom than the top when strapped to the feet.

[0028] By placing feet into the belt loop on each end of the strap and slightly tightening and securing the loop around the feet. Once both feet are in place, there will be a wide enough gap between the two feet in order to secure a weighted dumbbell to be lifted. Using a pulling motion while seated or lying is also an option by attaching a weight machine cable to the D-ring that is attached to the bottom of the strap.

[0029] Straps are attached to each end of the band by a hook and loop system a buckle is attached to one of the straps. The buckle is of the sliding-jam type. Thus means both the hook and loop system (VELCO) and sliding jam buckle provided to loosely strap the accurate band around the feet regardless of the size of the feet. Circular pads as might be made from cloth etc are provided over the feet bone of each foot to protect the band where it protrudes in this area. These also aid in securing the straps to the band.

[0030] Velcro is attached to the lower edge of the periphery of the band in the front thereof. Using a pulling motion while seated or lying is also an option by attaching a weight machine cable to the D-ring that is attached to the bottom of the strap.

[0031] It will be understood that the band is attached to the user by strapping the band around the feet and allowing the weighted band to rest lightly in the middle of the foot with the weighted pocket at the front and on the foot. By placing feet into the belt loop on each end of the strap and slightly tighten and secure the loop around the feet. Once both feet are in place, there will be a wide enough gap between the two feet in order to secure a weighted dumbbell to be lifted.

[0032] While a specific embodiment has been shown and described, many variations are possible. With time, additional features may be employed. The particular shape or configuration of the platform or the interior configuration may be changed to suit the system or equipment with which it is used.

Having described the invention in detail, those skilled in the art will appreciate that modifications may be made to the invention without departing from its spirit. Therefore, it is not intended that the scope of the invention be limited to the specific embodiment illustrated and described. Rather, it is intended that the scope of this invention be determined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
