Abstract
A fast folding structure of a basketball backstop includes two bilaterally symmetric standpipes, two connecting rods riveted with each other in an X-shape, and two Y-shaped leg assemblies. The connecting rods are movably connected with the standpipes respectively. The leg assemblies are installed respectively on the standpipes, and each leg assembly includes a leg tube and a strut. A top of the strut is riveted to the leg tube, and a bottom of the strut is riveted to the standpipe. The movable connection is realized through a sliding block fitting on the standpipe. A backboard is assembled between the top ends of standpipes. Upon collecting the basketball backstop, the sliding block ascends along the standpipe; whereas the connecting rods, leg assemblies, and standpipes converge together gradually to implement the fast folding of the basketball backstop and the increase or decrease of rings flexibly.
Claims
1. A fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, comprising a pair of bilaterally symmetric standpipes, a pair of connecting rods which are riveted together in X-shape, and a pair of Y-shaped leg assemblies, wherein middle sections of the connecting rods are riveted with each other, two ends on bottoms of the connecting rods are riveted respectively to bottom ends of the standpipes, two ends on tops of the connecting rods are movably connected with the middle sections of standpipes respectively, the leg assemblies are bilaterally symmetric and are installed respectively on the standpipes, each leg assembly includes a leg tube and a strut, a bottom end of the leg tube touches the ground and a top end of the leg tube is movably connected with the middle section of the standpipe, a top end of the strut is riveted to the middle section of standpipe and a bottom end of the strut is riveted to the bottom end of standpipe, the movable connection of two ends on the tops of connecting rods with the middle sections of standpipes and the movable connection of the top ends of leg tubes with the middle sections of standpipes are realized through a sliding block, the sliding block slidingly fits on the standpipe, the connecting rod is riveted to the sliding block, and the leg tube is riveted to the sliding block, with that the standpipes are expanded and collected with each other through the connecting rods to adjust the distance between the standpipes for assembling a backboard in any width between the top ends of standpipes, the backboard is provided with a ring to constitute a basketball backstop, the connecting rods and the leg tubes slide on the standpipes through the sliding blocks to expand and collect the connecting rods and the leg assemblies, thereby quickly expanding and collecting the basketball backstop.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 1, further comprising a slope rack, a drapery and two side shields, wherein the slope rack includes two extension rods and a stop rack, an end of the extension rod is riveted to the middle section of leg tube, the stop rack is connected between the other ends of extension rods, the top end of standpipe is higher than the stop rack, two ends of the drapery are assembled respectively between the top ends of standpipes and the stop rack that the drapery tilts from the top ends of standpipes toward the stop rack in a top-down manner, the ring is disposed above the drapery, and the side shields are disposed respectively on two sides of the drapery.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 2, wherein the drapery or side shield is mesh fabric, the stop rack is provided with two upright posts and a transversal rod which is connected between the top ends of upright posts, a bottom end of the upright post is disposed on the other end of extension rod, the top end of standpipe is provided with a support tube which is bent toward the stop rack, and the side shields are connected between the support tubes and the stop rack.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 1, further comprising a counterweight, wherein two sides of the counterweight are riveted respectively to the bottom ends of leg tubes, and the ring is disposed on the backboard, facing toward or opposite to a surface of the counterweight.
5. The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 4, wherein the counterweight is provided with a ground board.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 1, wherein the backboard includes a short backboard and a long backboard, the short backboard is provided with a single ring, the long backboard is provided with plural rings, the distance between the standpipes is adjusted freely through the connecting rods according to the width of short backboard and long backboard, allowing the short backboard or the long backboard to be assembled between the top ends of standpipes to selectively dispose a single ring or plural rings between the top ends of standpipes.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 2, wherein the backboard includes a short backboard and a long backboard, the short backboard is provided with a single ring, the long backboard is provided with plural rings, the distance between the standpipes is adjusted freely through the connecting rods according to the width of short backboard and long backboard, allowing the short backboard or the long backboard to be assembled between the top ends of standpipes to selectively dispose a single ring or plural rings between the top ends of standpipes.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 4, wherein the backboard includes a short backboard and a long backboard, the short backboard is provided with a single ring, the long backboard is provided with plural rings, the distance between the standpipes is adjusted freely through the connecting rods according to the width of short backboard and long backboard, allowing the short backboard or the long backboard to be assembled between the top ends of standpipes to selectively dispose a single ring or plural rings between the top ends of standpipes.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 1, wherein one standpipe is opened with a positioning hole, the sliding block is opened with a latch hole, a positioning latch is inserted into the positioning hole and the latch hole to position the sliding block on the standpipe, the standpipe is installed with a positioning snap ring, and the positioning snap ring is disposed below the sliding block to limit the sliding block from moving downward.

The fast folding structure of a basketball backstop, according to claim 1, wherein a positioning rod is disposed between the strut and the connecting rod which are riveted on the bottom end of a same standpipe, the strut and the connecting rod are opened respectively with an insertion hole, two ends of the positioning rod are provided respectively with an insertion portion, and the insertion portions on two ends of the positioning rod are inserted respectively into the insertion hole on the strut and the insertion hole on the connecting rod, thereby enabling the leg assemblies to be more stabilized, with a booster rod being connected between the top end of standpipe and the middle section of leg tube.

According to the abovementioned structure, as the top ends 103 of standpipe 10, 100 are higher than the transversal rods 622 of stop rack 62, the drapery 71 will tilt from the top ends 103 toward the stop rack 62 in the top-down manner to form the slope, and the upward opened chute 70 is formed by the enclosure with the drapery 71 and the side shields 72; therefore, after a user stands at the location of the transversal rods 622 of stop rack 62 to shoot a basketball, the basketball will drop into the chute 70 and slide downward, returning back to the location where the user shot the basketball at the location of the transversal rods 622 of stop rack 62. In addition, the top ends 103 of standpipes 10, 100 are provided with support tubes 104 which are bent toward the stop rack 62, and the side shields 72 are connected between the support tubes 104 and the stop rack 62. In addition, a booster rod 12 is connected between the top end 103 of standpipe 10, 100 and the middle section 313 of leg tube 31 to assist stabilization. Upon collecting the basketball backstop, the user mainly operates the leg tubes 31 in the leg assemblies 30, 300, or any standpipe 10, 100 in the pair of standpipes 10, 100. When the leg tube 31 of left leg assembly 300 is being put upright gradually, the leg assembly 300 will be driven to move closer to the left standpipe 100 at a same time. Similarly, when the leg tube 31 of right leg assembly 30 is being put upright gradually, the leg assembly 30 will be driven to move closer to the right standpipe 10 at a same time. And when the sliding blocks 40, 400 of both standpipes 10, 100 ascend, the leg tube 31 of left leg assembly 300 and the left end 213 on the top of connecting rod 21, as well as the leg tube 31 of right leg assembly 30 and the right end 223 on the top of connecting rod 22 will be driven to ascend, so that the leg assemblies 30, 300 and the connecting rods 21, 22 can be converged gradually.

After that, the booster rods 12, slope rack 60, drapery 71, side shields 72 and backboard 80 are assembled on the standpipes 10, 100 and the leg assemblies 30, 300. Accordingly, the connecting rods 21, 22 and the leg tubes 31 can slide up and down on the standpipes 10, 100 through the sliding blocks 40, 400, thereby expanding and collecting the connecting rods 21, 22 and the leg assemblies 30, 300 to quickly and easily expand and collect the basketball backstop, which will not take up a storage space and can facilitate transporting and carrying.
