Description

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0007] FIG. 1 illustrates the KidStrong Modular Fitness Bed with traditional bed configuration.

[0008] FIG. 2Proprietary High Strength Joint System: The Modular Bed System uses lightweight, commercial grade, proprietary designed extruded aluminum connected with a combination of high strength coupler/connectors. Thoughtful industrial design minimizes installation effort (uses significantly less hardware than comparable loft beds) while at the same time optimizing strength/weight to support the multi-function bed system.

[0009] FIG. 3Key Lock System: The modular fitness bed system utilizes a proprietary key system to attach hundreds of fitness/conditioning and other apparatuses. Accessory keys will be inserted into slots on bed system and are secured by a locking mechanism on both the bed system and the apparatus being attached to the Modular Bed System. Attachments will/may include: climbing rope, rings, heavy bag/punching bag, fireman's pole, swing, climbing net, play basketball goal, grip development attachments, trophy shelves, study desk, projector screen, whiteboard, clock/timer, hammock, trapeze, and other purpose built apparatuses. Key locks are inserted into the fitness bed frame, protrude through the frame and lock to ensure accessories are attached securely and support bodyweight loads during fitness related activities.

[0010] FIG. 4Multi-Configuration Monkey Bars: Multi-configuration monkey bars can be spaced at variable distance and height to accommodate children age 2-12. Monkey bars can be attached to the top or bottom side of the bed system rails based on the desired height/clearance best suited for the age/height of the child. The Modular Bed System is designed so that the monkey bars remain functional when the bed is placed in the loft position on top of the bed system, enabling children to develop strength, coordination, endurance utilizing the monkey bar apparatus.

[0011] FIG. 5Adjustable Pull-up Bar: Commercial grade aluminum bar can be placed between Bedposts. Bar is installed by inserting pins into Key Lock System, rotating, and securing with pin.

[0012] FIG. 6Easy Install Bed Slats: Bed Slats are easily adjustable and utilize Key Lock System on Top or Bottom Rails of the Bed System. A conventional or toddler bed height is accommodated by adjusting Bottom Rail height. A loft bed configuration is accommodated by installing Bed Slats on the Top Rails.

[0013] FIG. 7Bed Floor Configuration: Shows the bed in floor configuration.

[0014] FIG. 8Connectors: Shows top, side, end, and ISO views of the 3-way and 4-way connectors.

[0015] FIG. 9Bed Frame Assembly: Shows top, side, and end views of the bed frame assembly.

[0016] FIG. 10Rails: Shows top, side, and end views of the bed frame rails.

[0017] FIG. 11Rail and Accessory Key Assembly: Shows top, side, and end views of the rail and accessory key assembly.

[0018] FIG. 12Bed Colors: Shows views of different bed assembly colors and configurations.

[0019] FIG. 13Headboard: Shows top, front, and end views of the bed headboard plus and exploded ISO view of the bed headboard assembly with mounting hardware.

[0020] FIG. 14Bed Loft Configuration: Shows the bed in loft configuration.
