DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0026] In the following description in respect of FIGS. 1-5E by corresponding reference numerals and signs has been indicated corresponding elements, part and part assemblies unless otherwise mentioned. In some figures some repetitive reference markings might have been omitted for clarity.
[0027] In FIG. 1 is schematically shown a simplified example of a pipe cleaning device 21, which comprises one or more chains 25 formed of chain loops 10. In the example of FIG. 1 the pipe cleaning or opening device comprises three chains 25. The pipe cleaning or opening device 21 comprises at least one chain 25, advantageously 1-6 chains. The pipe cleaning or opening device also comprises two end parts 22 between of which the chains 25 extend and to which each chain is respectively at its end fastened, for example by welding or by screw fastening by screws 23. In the example of FIG. 1 the ends of the chains 25 are fastened at each last chain loop 10, respectively to end parts 22 by screws 23. The end parts 22 comprise a central opening 24, through which a rotatable wire or a rotatable arm or a rotatable cable or a corresponding rotatable element 27 extends. The end parts 22 also comprise at least one screw 26, advantageously a friction screw, which extends to the central opening for fastening the end part 22 at a desired location on the rotatable element 27 such that the end parts 22 are at desired distance from each other on the rotatable element 27 and the end parts 22 are fastened on the rotatable element 27 non-rotatably. At least one loop of at least one chain 25 is provided with a blade bit 15, which has a saw edged form 17 having cleaning side i.e. working part 18 (FIGS. 2A-2D). The saw edged form 17 comprises at least two sharp protrusions, in the example shown in the figure four sharp protrusions, that are advantageously V-shaped. The blade bit 15 is fastened to the chain loop 10 of the pipe cleaning device 21 for example by welding or soldering or by other applicable fastening method, advantageously on the longitudinal side of the chain loop 10, by the opposite side to the cleaning side. Advantageously, each chain comprises several blade bits 15 and advantageously, on each longitudinal side of the chain loop 10 is fastened a blade bit 15.
[0028] In FIGS. 2A-2D is schematically shown some examples of a blade bit 15 in accordance with the invention, which blade bit has a saw edged formed working (cleaning/opening) side, which forms the working part 18 of the blade bit 15. The working part 18 of the blade bit 15 comprises the saw edged form 17, which has at least two substantially sharp protrusions 20, which are advantageously V-shaped, reversely V-shaped when the blade bit 15 is at its place in the pipe cleaning or opening device. The opposite side of the working side of the blade bit 15 is to support the structure and a fastening part 18 with substantially rectangular form for fastening the blade bit 15 to the pipe cleaning or opening device. The blade bit 15 has a thickness T, which is advantageously 2-10 mm. The advantageously sharp V-shape of the sharp protrusions of the saw edged form extends substantially uniform in direction of the thickness T and the tip of the V-shape is towards the surface to be cleaned or opened and in contact with it, when the pipe cleaning or opening device is in use. The blade bits 15 are of hard material, advantageously of hard metal and the hardness of the hard material is at least 300 HB. The angle of the V-shape is advantageously a sharp angle A. The working part 18 and the fastening part 16 are advantageously of same body. The protrusions 20 of the working part 18 of the blade bit 15 are advantageously similar to each other but they can also bee different from each other. In FIG. 2A is shown a schematical three-dimensional example of a blade bit 15, in working part 18 of which there is four protrusions 20. In FIG. 2B is shown a schematical example of a blade bit 15, in working part 18 of which there is eight protrusions 20. In FIG. 2C is shown a schematical example of a blade bit 15, in working part 18 of which there is four protrusions 20 and in which the fastening part 16 is extended over the area covered by the protrusion 20, in this figure as small sharp protrusions in the area of the working part 18 but the extensions of the fastening part 16 can also be of other shape, for example planar.
[0029] In FIGS. 3A-3E is schematically shown some examples of utilization applications of a blade bit 15 in connection with a drilling or grinding device application for opening a lined branch. One or advantageously more blade bits 15 are fastened to a blade head 31, advantageously to fastenings groove or grooves 35 of the blade head for example by a fastening form or a fastening fitting. In FIGS. 3A-3C is shown some alternatives of blade heads, in which the form of the blade heads is different, and each comprises several blade bits 15. In FIG. 3A is shown a conical blade head 31, in FIG. 3B a semi-spherical blade head 31 and in FIG. 3C a cylindrical blade head 31. The blade heads 31 shown in FIGS. 3A-3C are in respect of the longitudinal axis rotationally symmetrical and each comprises four fastening grooves, which extend on the side surface and the end surface of the blade head 31. The blade head 31 is fastened for example by a fastening means 32 in accordance with FIG. 3D for example to a frame arm 33 in accordance with FIG. 3E.
[0030] In FIGS. 4A-4B is schematically shown yet some examples of utilization applications of a blade bit 15 in connection with a drilling or grinding device application for opening a lined branch. One or advantageously more blade bits 15 are fastened to a blade head 31, advantageously to fastenings groove or grooves 35 of the blade head. In FIGS. 4A-4B is shown some alternatives of blade heads, in which the form of the blade heads is different, and each comprises several blade bits 15. In FIG. 4A is shown a disk-like blade head 31 and in FIG. 4B a conical blade head 31. Different shapes of the blade heads 31 are used in different applications. The blade heads 31 shown in FIGS. 4A-4B are in respect of the longitudinal axis rotationally symmetrical and each comprises four fastening grooves, which extend on the end surface of the blade head 31 in FIG. 4A and in FIG. 4B on the side surface and on the end surface.
[0031] In FIGS. 5A-5E is schematically shown yet some examples of utilization applications of a blade bit 15 in connection with a drilling or grinding device application for opening a lined branch. One or advantageously more blade bits 15 are fastened to a blade head 31, advantageously to fastenings groove or grooves 35 of the blade head. In FIGS. 5A-5E is shown some alternatives of blade heads, in which the form of the blade heads is disk-like, and each comprises several blade bits 15. The blade heads 31 differ from each other in their size and/or in number of or length of the fastening grooves 35. Different shapes of the blade heads 31 are used in different applications. The blade heads 31 shown in FIGS. 5A-5E are in respect of the longitudinal axis rotationally symmetrical and each comprises several fastening grooves, which extend on the end surface at least from the outer circumferential area of disk-like end surface a desired distance towards the center part.
