Abstract
A rear brake assembly of a kick scooter includes a brake including an attaching member having an open end; and a visual warning device being a module and fastened in the attaching member by snapping. Also, the fastening of the visual warning device in the attaching member is done manually.
Claims
1. A rear brake assembly of a kick scooter comprising: a brake comprising an attaching member having an open end; and a visual warning device being a module and fastened in the attaching member by snapping.
2. The rear brake assembly of claim 1, wherein the fastening of the visual warning device in the attaching member is done manually.
3. The rear brake assembly of claim 1, wherein the brake further comprises an upper plate at one end and a lower plate under the upper plate, and the attaching member is formed between the lower plate and the upper plate and has a section of U.
4. The rear brake assembly of claim 3, wherein at least one of the upper plate and the lower plate has a groove, and the visual warning device comprises an outer ridge complimentarily disposed in the groove.
5. The rear brake assembly of claim 4, wherein the groove has a section of U and is tapered toward its bottom end.
6. The rear brake assembly of claim 1, wherein the visual warning device is translucent.
7. The rear brake assembly of claim 6, wherein the visual warning device comprises a plurality of electric lights, a switch, a circuit board, and a battery electrically connected to the electric lights, the switch and the circuit board respectively.
8. The rear brake assembly of claim 7, wherein the battery is rechargeable, and the visual warning device further comprises a USB port electrically connected to the circuit board which is further electrically connected to the battery.
9. The rear brake assembly of claim 8, wherein the visual warning device further comprises a cap for sealing the USB port, the switch has a pushbutton, and both the cap and the pushbutton are exposed.
10. The rear brake assembly of claim 6, wherein the visual warning device further comprises a first shell having the outer ridge complimentarily disposed in the groove, a second shell secured to the first shell, and a translucent cover slidably secured to both the first shell and the second shell.
