    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS

[0017] The accompanying colored photographs illustrate the overall appearance of the new Sweetfern plant showing the colors as true as it is reasonably possible to obtain in colored reproductions of this type. Colors in the photographs may differ slightly from the color values cited in the detailed botanical description, which accurately describe the colors of the new

    [0018] Sweetfern plant.

[0019] FIG. 1 shows a close-up view of the blue-tinted foliage of mature Comptonia peregrina Blue Sea.

[0020] FIG. 2 shows a side-perspective view of a mature plant of Comptonia peregrina Blue Sea grown outside in a two-gallon container.

[0021] FIG. 3 shows rooted cuttings of Comptonia peregrina Blue Sea.

[0022] FIG. 4 shows a comparison between the foliage of wild Comptonia peregrina (left) and the narrow-leaved foliage Comptonia peregrina Blue Sea (right).
