Abstract
A holder for compressed gas cartridges may consist of a geometric body with a plurality of elongated cylindrical holes, each hole may be adapted to removably engage the neck portion of a standard compressed gas cartridge. When the neck portion of a standard compressed gas cartridge is inserted into the elongated cylindrical hole in the geometric body, the compressed gas cartridge may be securely but removably attached to the geometric body. The angle and orientation of the compressed gas cartridges may form a support structure for the geometric body.

8. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 7 wherein at least one said means to mechanically engage said neck of said compressed gas cartridge to said elongated cylindrical hole are female threads in said elongated cylindrical hole.
9. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 8 wherein at least one elongated cylindrical hole with said female threads is adapted to engage a corresponding male threaded rod whereby at least one additional holder and display for compressed gas cartridges may be threadably and removably affixed to said geometric body.
10. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 8 wherein said female threads are thread pitch ⅜-16 UNF and adapted to engage a male thread pitch ⅜-24 UNF neck of said compressed gas cartridge.
11. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 8 wherein said female threads are adapted to removably engage a threaded substantially compressible insert adapted to securely but removably engage said neck of said compressed gas cartridge.
12. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein said elongated cylindrical hole is adapted with a means to mechanically engage said neck of said compressed gas cartridge.
13. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein said elongated cylindrical hole is adapted with a means to engage a substantially compressible insert adapted with a means to securely but removably engage the neck of said compressed gas cartridge.
14. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein said geometric body is comprised of at least six planar faces.
15. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein said planar faces are substantially equal in shape and dimensional size.
16. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein at least one said elongated cylindrical hole is substantially perpendicular to said planar face.
17. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 3 wherein said geometric body is comprised of molded, formed, or machined plastic, rubber, wood, or metal.
18. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein at least one said elongated cylindrical hole is a through-hole without a bottom surface.
19. A holder for compressed gas cartridges as in claim 4 wherein at least one said planar face has a plurality of elongated cylindrical holes.
20. A holder for compressed gas cartridges comprising: a geometric body comprising: at least six planar faces, each said planar face comprising at least one elongated cylindrical hole adapted to removably engage a threaded neck of a compressed gas cartridge; said planar faces are substantially equal in shape and dimensional size; said elongated cylindrical holes are female threaded to thread pitch ⅜-24 UNF and adapted to removably engage a male thread pitch ⅜-24 UNF neck of said compressed gas cartridge; whereby the angle and orientation of at least three said compressed gas cartridges adapted with said male thread pitch ⅜-24 UNF neck having a means to removably engage said female thread pitch ⅜-24 UNF elongated cylindrical holes, substantially form a support structure for said geometric body.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0027] The specific details of the single embodiment or variety of embodiments described herein are to describe the system and methods of use. Any specific details of the embodiments are used for demonstration purposes only and no unnecessary limitations or inferences are to be understood from there.
[0028] It is noted that the embodiments reside primarily in combinations of components and procedures related to the system. Accordingly, the system components have been represented where appropriate by conventional symbols in the drawings, showing only those specific details that are pertinent to understanding the embodiments of the present disclosure so as not to obscure the disclosure with details that will be readily apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art of having the benefit of the description herein.
[0029] In general, the variations disclosed may include a holder and display for compressed gas cartridges having a geometric shape capable of engaging either the threaded or unthreaded necks of standard CO2 compressed gas cartridges. The holder and display for compressed gas cartridges may be of nearly any shape, and may even consist of a geometric body that does not have identically shaped planar faces, a geometric body with more than one means to engage a standard CO2 cartridge on each face, or a geometric body with an amorphous smooth surface where no discernable planar faces exist. Cost, weight requirements and other application specifics may dictate material choices and manufacturing methodologies. The depth of the elongated cylindrical holes may vary according to the material type and the size of the holder and display for compressed gas cartridges; and while some of the drawing figures show blind holes, these holes could also be through-holes.
