DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
[0027] The innovation is now described with reference to the drawings, wherein like reference numerals are used to refer to like elements throughout. In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding thereof. It may be evident, however, that the innovation can be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form in order to facilitate a description thereof. Various embodiments are discussed hereinafter. It should be noted that the figures are described only to facilitate the description of the embodiments. They are not intended as an exhaustive description of the invention and do not limit the scope of the invention. Additionally, an illustrated embodiment need not have all the aspects or advantages shown. Thus, in other embodiments, any of the features described herein from different embodiments may be combined.
[0028] As noted above, there exists a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that features interchangeable scenes and/or decorations. There is also a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that can be customized and used for any festive or holiday season. Additionally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that eliminates the requirement of purchasing multiple artificial trees for different occasions. Moreover, there is a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that can accommodate snow globe mechanisms for decoration. Further, there is a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that can be disassembled and is easy for storage. Furthermore, there is a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that provides a space to accommodate interchangeable scenes and decorations. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a decorative artificial tree that enables users to choose from multiple scenes to display and accommodate any celebration or holiday easily and in a cost-effective manner.
[0029] The present invention, in one exemplary embodiment, is a decorative artificial bubble tree for celebratory or holiday seasons. The bubble tree comprising a snow globe-like decoration positioned between two elongated poles; the snow globe-like decoration is fastened to the top end of a bottom pole and to the bottom end of a top pole; the snow globe-like decoration is coupled to a motor positioned at base of the tree wherein the motor is configured to rotate the snow globe-like decoration using a pair of rotatable connectors, a power button for activating the rotation of the snow globe-like decoration and a fan integrated to the snow globe-like decoration.
[0030] Referring initially to the drawings,
[0031] The pole 104 is longitudinal and extends from the bottom end 1040 to a top end 1042. The pole 104 may have a plurality of detachable tree branches (shown in
[0032] The detachable components of the base 102, pole 104, decorative scene 106, and the top branch 112 together form the artificial tree 100 which is not only lightweight but can be disassembled for easy portability and storage. A plurality of artificial tree branches can also be extended sideways from the top branch 112 such that tree branches provide a look of a traditional real tree. The scene 106 can be interchangeable with different sceneries wherein the sceneries can be themed based upon different celebrations or holidays, such as, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and much more. Based on the preference of a user, a scenery 106 based on any of the holidays can be selectively swapped/attached in order to customize the tree 100 for a holiday season.
[0033] The portion of the tree 100 between the top end 1042 of the pole 104 and the bottom end 1120 of the top branch 112 does not contain any tree branches wherein the scene 106 is visible, in one embodiment from at least a front view and a rear view. In another embodiment, the scene 106 is visible in a 360-degree range of view. As a result, the scenery 106 positioned between the pole 104 and the top branch 112 is properly displayed and adds to the celebration of a holiday season. The pole 104 is wide enough to easily accommodate the bottom fastening hole 1060 of the scenery 106 and similarly, the top branch 112 is wide enough to accommodate the top fastening hole 1062 of the scenery 106.
[0034] The multipurpose artificial tree 100 of the present invention is inexpensive, dependable, and fully effective in accomplishing its intended purpose of being used in different holiday seasons without requiring users to purchase multiple costly trees. Users can purchase the sceneries which can be accommodated between the pole and the top branch.
[0035]
[0036] Similarly, a second set of artificial branches 204 are removably attached to the top branch 112 for providing a complete conventional look to the tree 100. The branches 202, 204 may include decorations and illuminations 206 for providing an aesthetic appeal to the tree 100. In one embodiment of the tree 100, the base 102 may have wheels enabling the tree 100 to be easily moved between separate places. The wheels can be moved on any type of surface and terrain.
[0037]
[0038] The scenery or display 308 can be of any geometric shape in two dimension (2-D) or three dimension (3-D), and can be removably placed on the top of the pole 306. The pole 306 has artificial leaves and branches 310 disposed thereon for providing the tree 300 with a look of a conventional decorative tree. The leaves and branches 310 may have illumination sources in the form of LED lights 312 that can provide electric power either using an external power source or an integrated battery (not shown). Based on the preferences of a user, the scenery or display 308 can be selectively replaced with another scenery to customize the tree 300 for any other holiday season.
[0039]
[0040] A power button 418 is positioned on a control bar 420 enabling a user to activate rotation of the snow globe 402. A snow globe speed adjuster and fan 422 enables a user to adjust the rotational speed of the snow globe 402 and the air flow therein to agitate the snow particles, and also adjusts the electric power received from the motor 404. The snow globe 402 can be of any shape and size and can have any design or color as per preference of a user.
[0041]
[0042] The snow globe 402 is configured to rotate using the rotatable connectors 506, 510 which are powered by the motor 404. In one exemplary embodiment, the wire for driving the snow globe 402 passes through an interior hollow space of the pole 410, however, in some embodiments, the wire can be exterior to the pole 410.
[0043] Other shapes, designs and configurations of the decorative artificial trees and the sceneries are contemplated and fall within the scope of the invention without affecting the utility of the device. Since the sceneries can be easily interchanged, a single tree can be used for different holidays, such as, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and much more. Further, the scenery is visible from all directions and is void of artificial tree branches.
