    Abstract

    The invention relates to a wall casing (1) with a substantially flat configuration, with a front side (2) intended to face the space, and a rear side (3). The wall casing (1) comprises a carrier (10) and a casing core (20) and is intended to be mounted between a pair of studs (100). The carrier (10) has a recess (11), the opening (12) of which faces the front side (2) of the wall casing (1) and a backing (13). The width of the recess (11) is adapted to fit between two studs. The recess (11) is equipped with side walls (14a, 14b) which are connected to flanges (15a, 15b) on each long side (2a, 2b).

    Claims

    1. Wall casing (1) for inner walls and wall systems (200), where the wall casing has a substantially flat configuration and is intended, upon mounting, to have a front surface (2) consisting of a first surface intended to face the space to be bordered and a rear surface (3) consisting of a second surface intended to face away from the space to be bordered. The wall casing (1) is intended to be mounted between a pair of studs (100) and, when mounted, will have a width extending in a direction perpendicular to the studs and a longitudinal direction extending longitudinally on the studs. The wall casing (1) consists of a carrier (10) and a casing core (20). The carrier (10) is configured to include a recess (11) with a depth, whose opening (12) is on the front surface (2) of the wall casing (1) and a backing (13) which forms the wall casing's rear surface. The carrier (10) is also configured so that the width of the recess (11) is adapted to fit between two studs (100). Further along longitudinal side, the recess (11) is equipped with side walls (14a, 14b) along the casing's (1) longitudinal sides (14a, 14b) to define the recess (11), which are connected to one or more flanges (15a, 15b) on each longitudinal side (2a, 2b). Said flanges (15a, 15b) are adapted to extend over the studs so as to attach to them so that the recess can be fitted between the sides (102) of the studs (100), while the flanges (15a, 15b) are positioned on the front (101) of the studs (100). The carrier's (10) recess (11) is adapted to substantially correspond to the thickness, width and length of the casing core (20) so that the core (20) can be fitted into and lowered into the recess). The carrier (10) consists of a thin disk-shaped material between 0.2 and 2 mm, and the depth of the recess (11) is between 5 and 25 mm.

    2. A wall casing (1) according to claim 1, characterized by the carrier (10) consists of a sheet which has been bent to form a recess (11).

    3. A wall casing (1) according to claim 2, characterized by the plate constituting the carrier (10) being a perforated sheet.

A wall casing according to claim 1, characterized by the carrier (10) being designed so that the flanges (15a, 15b) do not extend along the long sides (2a, 2b) of the entire casing (1), and that the flanges (15a, 15b) are removed on at least one of the short sides (3a, 3b) of the casing (1).

    5. A wall casing (1) according to claim 1, characterized by the front surface of the flanges (15a, 15b) being essentially parallel to the front surface of the core (20).

    6. A wall casing (1) according to claim 1, characterized by the wall casing (1) comprising a cover sheet (30) intended to cover the casing core (20) on its front by being placed over the opening (12), possibly also over the flanges (15a, 15b) of the carrier (10).

A wall casing (200) for constructing walls (300), comprising a wall casing (1) according to claim 1, characterized by the system comprising at least one steel stud (100) with a U profile, with a stud core (120) on the interior of the stud sides (101) to which the flanges (15a, 15b) of the wall casing (1) are intended to be attached.

    8. A wall system according to claim 7, characterized by the stud core (120) and the casing core (20) consisting of the same material.

    9. A wall system (200) according to claim 7, characterized by the stud core (120) being equipped with a backing (13) on the side of the stud core (120) facing away from the stud side (101) to which the stud core (120) is attached.

A wall system (200) according to claim 9, characterized by the backing (13) of the carrier (10) being equipped with a cover flange (19) extending longitudinally along one long side (15a or 15b) of the backing (13), to cover the side of the stud core (120) which faces away from the stud side to which the stud core (120) is attached.

    11. A wall (300) characterized by consisting of one or more wall casings (1) according to claim 1.

    12. A wall (300) according to claim 11 characterized by being constructed as a wall system (200) according to claim 1.

    13. A wall according to claim 11, characterized by the wall casing (1) being designed and mounted in such a way that its first surface, which is intended to face the space to be bordered, is essentially in line with the surface defined by the flanges' (15a, 15b) front surface, and that the recess (11) and casing core (20) of the wall casings are essentially located between a pair of studs, and do not thus reduce the area/volume of the bordered space.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

    [0014] The casings are characterized by the fact that they are ready for installation and installed on one or more sides of a wall system (200), instead of using multiple layers of building boards (500) on the outside of a wall system (200) to meet stipulated requirements (see example diagram 5). This saves material and assembly time, and thinner walls (300) can be constructed, thus freeing up usable space and volume in the room. The casings can handle relatively heavy attachments in comparison to the current technology with inorganic solutions, which is desirable in, for example, humid environments. Its flat design means the casings can utilize a portion of the frame depth (103) without competing with the insulation, pipes or electrical wires within the structure.

    [0015] The casings are of a sandwich-like design and consist of a stabilizing but permeable core (20) of one or more materials in one or more layers of organic or inorganic material (e.g. building boards/hangings of plaster, cement, wood, glass, plastic, rubber, bitumen, etc.) in order to achieve durable function in varying installation environments (e.g. humid or non-humid environments), with fire and sound inhibitory properties. The core is equipped with a carrier (10) and/or backing (13) and, if necessary, a front side (2) of metal or equivalent material to generate strong and stable constructions and attachment options.

    [0016] The wall casing (1) may be designed so that the flanges (15a, 15b) of the carrier (10) do not extend along the entire long sides (2b, 2b) of the entire wall casing (1a). The flanges (15a, 15b) may be adapted so as to be removed from one or both of the short sides (3a, 3b) of the wall casings (1). This allows the wall casing to be fitted with the end down or end up between a pair of frames (100) connected to a rail (600) or similar along the upward and/or downward. If the flanges (15a, 15b) cannot be adjusted in this manner, the wall casing (1) will not be able to fit between the frames (100) and be pushed down into the rail. Thus, the length of the part from which the flanges are removed from its end must be at least equal to the height of the rail (600). Of course, it is also possible to remove the side walls (14a, 14b) of the carrier (10) and/or the backing (13) at the ends, if required.

    [0017] The wall casing (1) may be part of a wall system (200) for the construction of walls (300). In addition to the wall casing (1), the wall system (200) may include a non-solid frame (100), such as a steel frame with a U or C profile equipped with a frame core (120) inside the frame side (101), to which the flanges (15a, 15b) of the wall casing are intended to be fastened. This means that the part of the wall (300) where the studs (100) are located will also be equipped with a core (120) so that there are no defective audio and fire prevention properties where the studs are located. An additional advantage of equipping the studs (100) with a stud core (120) is that they will improve the properties for secure attachment to the wall (300) behind which the studs (100) are located. The attachment properties can be further improved if the stud core (120) is equipped with a backing (13), consisting, for example, of the same material used for the carrier (10) in the wall casing, preferably made of a thin sheet and forming a stud casing (6). There may thus be a desire to use studs (100) equipped with a stud core (120), and possibly even with a backing (13), even when wall casings (1) are not used to construct the walls (300) between the studs (100).
