Abstract
A combination hat and bandana assembly for absorbing sweat when a hat is worn includes a hat that is worn on a user's head. The hat has a rim and an inside surface, and the rim encircles the user's head when the hat is worn. A bandana is coupled to the hat. The bandana is positionable in a deployed position having the bandana extending downwardly from the rim. Thus, the bandana encircles the user's head when the hat is worn. The bandana is foldable into a stored position having the bandana being positioned in the hat.
Claims
1. A combination hat and bandana assembly being configured to absorb sweat while being worn, said assembly comprising: a hat being worn on a user's head, said hat having a rim and an inside surface, said rim encircling the user's head when said hat is worn; and a bandana being coupled to said hat, said bandana being positionable in a deployed position having said bandana extending downwardly from said rim wherein said bandana is configured to encircle the user's head, said bandana being foldable into a stored position having said bandana being positioned in said hat.
2. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said bandana has a top edge, a bottom edge, a front surface and a back surface, said front surface being coupled to said inside surface of said hat having said top edge being aligned with said rim of said hat.
3. The assembly according to claim 2, wherein said back surface of said bandana abuts the user's head when said bandana is positioned in said deployed position and said hat is worn.
4. The assembly according to claim 3, wherein said back surface is folded onto itself when said bandana is folded into said stored position such that said bandana does not extend below said rim of said hat.
5. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said bandana is comprised of a fluid absorbent material thereby facilitating said bandana to absorb perspiration when said hat is worn.
6. A combination hat and bandana assembly being configured to absorb sweat while being worn, said assembly comprising: a hat being worn on a user's head, said hat having a rim and an inside surface, said rim encircling the user's head when said hat is worn; and a bandana being coupled to said hat, said bandana being positionable in a deployed position having said bandana extending downwardly from said rim wherein said bandana is configured to encircle the user's head, said bandana being comprised of a fluid absorbent material thereby facilitating said bandana to absorb perspiration when said hat is worn, said bandana being foldable into a stored position having said bandana being positioned in said hat, said bandana having a top edge, a bottom edge, a front surface and a back surface, said front surface being coupled to said inside surface of said hat having said top edge being aligned with said rim of said hat, said back surface of said bandana abutting the user's head when said bandana is positioned in said deployed position and said hat is worn, said back surface being folded onto itself when said bandana is folded into said stored position such that said bandana does not extend below said rim of said hat.
Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
[0009] The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

[0011]
[0012]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0015] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
[0016] As best illustrated in
[0017] A bandana 22 is provided and the bandana 22 is coupled to the hat 12. The bandana 22 is positionable in a deployed position having the bandana 22 extending downwardly from the rim 16 thereby encircling the user's head 14. Moreover, the bandana 22 is comprised of a fluid absorbent material thereby facilitating the bandana 22 to absorb perspiration when the hat 12 is worn. In this way the bandana 22 inhibits sweat from entering the user's eyes and from running down the user's face and the back of the user's neck. The bandana 22 is foldable into a stored position having the bandana 22 being positioned in the hat 12.
[0018] The bandana 22 has a top edge 24, a bottom edge 26, a front surface 28 and a back surface 30. The front surface 28 is coupled to the inside surface 18 of the hat 12 having the top edge 24 being aligned with the rim 16 of the hat 12. The bandana 22 may be sewn to the hat 12, adhered to the hat 12 or bonded to the hat 12 through any permanent means. The back surface 30 of the bandana 22 abuts the user's head 14 when the bandana 22 is positioned in the deployed position and the hat 12 is worn. Additionally, the back surface 30 is folded onto itself when the bandana 22 is folded into the stored position such that 12 the bandana 22 does not extend below the rim 16 of the hat 12.
[0019] In use, the hat 12 is worn in the conventional means that the hat 12 would typically be worn. The bandana 22 is positioned in the deployed position when the user is sweating. In this way the bandana 22 absorbs the sweat thereby inhibiting the sweat from running in to the user's eyes. The bandana 22 is folded into the stored position when the user does not wish the bandana 22 to extend below the rim 16 of the hat 12. The bandana 22 is still capable of absorbing sweat when the bandana 22 is positioned in the folded position. In this way the bandana 22 enhances comfort for the user regardless of whether the bandana 22 is in the deployed position or the folded position.
[0020] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
[0021] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word comprising is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article a does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
