LEG WRAP GARMENT PROTECTOR SYSTEM

Abstract

A leg wrap garment protector system including a leg wrap having a body including a first-side having a first-fastener, and a second-fastener, and a second-side. The body has a generally rectangular profile having the first-side and the second-side opposing one another and creating a continuous sheet. The first-fastener and the second-fastener are configured on the first-side and oppose one another on opposite ends of the body. The body is configured to encircle about a leg of a user in a cylindrical form. The first-fastener is secured to a garment and the second-fastener secures to the second-side when wrapped around the leg of the user. The leg wrap provides a removeable protective barrier for the garment.

Claims

1. A leg wrap garment protector system comprising: a leg wrap including; a body; a first-side having; a first-fastener; and a second-fastener; and a second-side; wherein said body comprises a generally rectangular profile having said first-side and said second-side opposing one another and creating a continuous sheet; wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are configured on said first-side and oppose one another on opposite ends of said body; wherein said body is configured to encircle about a leg of a user in a cylindrical form; wherein said first-fastener is secured to a garment and said second-fastener secures to said second-side when wrapped around said leg of said user; and wherein said leg wrap provides a removeable protective barrier for said garment.

2. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener comprise adhesive.

3. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 2, wherein said first-fastener is configured to adhere to said garment.

4. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 3, wherein said second-fastener is configured to adhere to said second-side when wrapped around said leg of said user.

5. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are positioned at end portions of said body along a width of said body.

6. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 5, wherein said body comprises a width of approximately 12 inches.

7. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 6, wherein said body comprises a length of approximately 18 to 32 inches.

8. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 3, wherein said second-fastener prevents movement of said leg wrap when secured to said garment during an in-use condition.

9. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said body comprises a fabric.

10. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 9, wherein said body is flexible.

11. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 9, wherein said fabric is semi-absorbent.

12. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said leg wrap is disposable.

13. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 2, wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener further comprise covers configured to conceal said adhesive before use.

14. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said leg wrap is configured to be secured to a thigh-portion of said leg of said user.

15. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are generally rectangular.

16. The leg wrap garment protector system of claim 1, wherein said leg wrap is provided as a one-size-fits-all.

17. A leg wrap garment protector system, the leg wrap garment protector system comprising: a leg wrap including; a body; a first-side having; a first-fastener; and a second-fastener; and a second-side; wherein said body comprises a generally rectangular profile having said first-side and said second-side opposing one another and creating a continuous sheet; wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are configured on said first-side and oppose one another on opposite ends of said body; wherein said body is configured to encircle about a leg of a user in a cylindrical form; wherein said first-fastener is secured to a garment and said second-fastener secures to said second-side when wrapped around said leg of said user; wherein said leg wrap provides a removeable protective barrier for said garment; wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener comprise adhesive; wherein said first-fastener is configured to adhere to said garment; wherein said second-fastener is configured to adhere to said second-side when wrapped around said leg of said user; wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are positioned at end portions of said body along a width of said body; wherein said first-fastener and said second-fastener are generally rectangular; wherein said second-fastener prevents movement of said leg wrap when secured to said garment during an in-use condition; wherein said body comprises a fabric; wherein said body is flexible; wherein said fabric is semi-absorbent; wherein said leg wrap is disposable; wherein said leg wrap is configured to be secured to a thigh-portion of said leg of said user; and wherein said leg wrap is provided as a one-size-fits-all.

18. A method of protecting garments using a leg wrap garment protector system, the method comprising the steps of: providing a leg wrap including; a body; a first-side having; a first-fastener; and a second-fastener; and a second-side; securing said first-fastener to a garment; wrapping said body around a leg of a user; and securing said second-fastener to said second-side.

19. The method of claim 18, further comprising the steps of: removing said leg wrap; and disposing of said leg wrap.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0016] As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparel and more particularly to a leg wrap garment protector system as used to improve the protection of garments.

[0017] Generally, the leg wrap system is used as a tool to prevent pants and other clothing from getting dirty and/or soiled while performing work such as painting, tile setting (cement), caulking, and other work that normally would stain or damage garments, such as grease. This will help the preservation of work clothes and prevent undue wear and tear. The leg wrap system includes a leg wrap configured to be easily installed on a leg as needed and then removed and thrown into the garbage when done. The leg wrap may be provided in a variety of colors such as white, black, tan, denim, and other colors. The leg wrap may also be environmentally friendly and biodegradable.

[0018] Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in FIGS. 1-4, various views of a leg wrap garment protector system 100. FIG. 1 shows a leg wrap garment protector system 100 during an in-use condition 150, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the leg wrap garment protector system 100 may include a leg wrap 110 including a body 120 having a first-side 130 having a first-fastener 132, and a second-fastener 136, and a second-side 140. The body 120 comprises a generally rectangular profile having the first-side 130 and the second-side 140 opposing one another and creating a continuous sheet. The first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136 are configured on the first-side 130 and oppose one another on opposite ends of the body 120. The body 120 is configured to encircle about a leg 10 of a user in a cylindrical form. The first-fastener 132 is secured to a garment and the second-fastener 136 secures to the second-side 140 when wrapped around the leg 10 of the user. The leg wrap 110 provides a removeable protective barrier for the garment.

As above, the leg wrap garment protector system 100 may include the leg wrap 110 including the body 120 having the first-side 130 with the first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136, and a second-side 140. The first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136 are generally rectangular. The first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136 comprise adhesive. Covers may be included to conceal the adhesive of the first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136 before use. The first-fastener 132 is configured to adhere to the garment. The second-fastener 136 is configured to adhere to the second-side 140 when wrapped around the leg 10 of the user. The second-fastener 136 prevents movement of the leg wrap 110 when secured to the garment during an in-use condition. The first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136 are positioned at end portions 122 of the body 120 along a width of the body 120.

[0020] Referring now to FIG. 3-4 showing perspective views of the leg wrap garment protector system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the leg wrap garment protector system 100 may include the leg wrap 110 including the body 120 to be secured to a thigh-portion of the leg 10 of the user. In a preferred embodiment, the body 120 has a width of approximately 12 inches and a length of approximately 18 to 32 inches (other sizes/lengths, etc., may apply). The leg wrap garment protector system 100 prevents work garments from getting dirty and provides a place for a user to easily wipe your hands clean instead of damaging clothing. The body 120 is flexible and comprises a fabric. The fabric is semi-absorbent and disposable. The leg wrap 110 is preferably provided as a one-size-fits-all. The user may adjust the size and secure the leg wrap 110 appropriately using the first-fastener 132 and the second-fastener 136.

In particular, the method for protecting garments 500 using a leg wrap garment protector system 100 may include one or more components or features of the garment protector system 100 as described above. As illustrated, the method for protecting garments 500 using a leg wrap garment protector system 100 may include the steps of: step one 501, providing a leg wrap 110 including a body 120, a first-side 130 having a first-fastener 132, and a second-fastener 136, and a second-side 140; step two 502, securing the first-fastener 132 to a garment; step three 503, wrapping the body 120 around a leg 10 of a user; step four 504, securing the second-fastener 136 to the second-side 140; step five 505, removing the leg wrap 110; and step six 506, disposing of the leg wrap 110.
