    Abstract

The present invention discloses a pocket for temporary attachment primarily to the lining of a woman's blazer. The pocket is attached due to pressure sensitive adhesive layers located on its rear panel. The pocket can be adjusted or relocated to another surface because the adhesive layers are stacked in a single array and the layers are detachable from the array.

    Claims

    1. A pocket for temporary attachment which is comprised of: opaque material and adhesive layers that are both rectangular in shape; wherein the opaque material is formed in a manner such that its sides are sealed and are identical in length, its bottom edge is sealed, and its top edge is open; wherein the opaque material, in this configuration, displays a front and rear exterior panel; wherein the rear exterior panel has pressure-sensitive adhesive layers affixed to it and the adhesive layers have the same dimensions of the rear panel; wherein the adhesive layers are comprised of two sides, a nonadhesive surface side and a side with an adhesive area; wherein the adhesive area is centered upon the adhesive layer such that there is a uniform border around the perimeter of the adhesive area by the edges of the adhesive layer.

    2. The pocket of claim 1 wherein the adhesive layers are stacked in a single array of twelve or fewer layers.

    3. A pocket as described in claim 2 wherein the adhesive area of each layer is facing away from the rear panel and is removable from the array by peeling the corner of the layer.

    4. A pocket as described in claim 3 wherein the adhesive area of each layer includes a mark indicating the number of the layer within the array.

    Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0005] A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings wherein:

[0006] FIG. 1 is a view of the invention from the front.

[0007] FIG. 2 is a view of the invention from the rear which displays the uniformly stacked array of adhesive layers.

[0008] FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the invention.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0009] FIG. 1 displays the present invention, in the preferred embodiment, from the front view. The front panel 1 is made of an opaque material and its exterior will appear in a variety of hues. The front panel 1 is formed to have equal length sides 2 and 3 that are parallel to each other and measure approximately 6.5. The bottom edge 5 of the pocket is sealed and shall measure approximately 3.5. The top edge 6 is open and provides access to the interior of the pocket 4.

[0010] FIG. 2 displays the present invention, in the preferred embodiment, from the rear view. The rear panel 11 is made of the same material as the front panel 1. The rear panel 11 has identical dimensions to the front panel 1. The adhesive layer 7 is affixed to the rear panel 11 and includes a pressure sensitive adhesive area 9. The adhesive area 9 is rectangular shaped and is centered upon the adhesive layer 7 such that a uniform border 12 is formed around the adhesive area 9.

[0011] The adhesive layer 7 includes a nonadhesive surface 8 on one side, which is opposite to the adhesive area 9. The nonadhesive surface 8 has the same dimensions of the rear panel 11. The adhesive layer 7 is stacked into a single uniform array of twelve or fewer layers. The adhesive layer 7 can be removed from the array by peeling it away, starting along the uniform border 12. The adhesive layer 7 includes a mark 10 that indicates how many layers remain in the array.

[0012] FIG. 3 displays the sectional view of the present invention. The front panel 1 is featured to the left while the array of adhesive layers 14 is to the right. The interior of the pocket is represented at 4.

[0013] It will be appreciated to those skilled in the art that various modifications and changes to the disclosed may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations disclosed above provided that these changes come within the scope of the claims and their equivalents.
