    Abstract

    A scaffold post integrated with height-adjustable U-shaped support includes: a circular unthreaded support post integrally formed with an external threaded section, a U-shaped support base disposed around the external threaded section and capable of sliding relative along the support post. The spindle nut is disposed around the external threaded section and located below the U-shaped support base. A connecting spigot, with two sets of fastening through-holes formed to use the support post at different heights. At least one locking pin is used wherein fastening through-holes are formed at two ends of the spigot; where one end of the spigot is inserted into the respective end of the support post provided with fastening through-holes; after the fastening through-holes are aligned to the respective fastening through-holes, the locking pin is inserted through the holes to connect the support post and connecting spigot.

    Claims

    1. A height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, comprising: a circular unthreaded support post integrally formed with an external threaded section, a U-shaped support base disposed around the external threaded section and capable of sliding relative along the support post; the spindle nut is disposed around the external threaded section and located below the U-shaped support base; a connecting spigot, with two sets of fastening through-holes formed to use the spigot at different heights; at least one locking pin is used wherein fastening through-holes are formed at two ends of the spigot; where one end of the spigot is inserted into the respective end of the support post provided with fastening through-holes; after the fastening through-holes are aligned to the respective through-holes, the locking pin is inserted through the holes to connect the support post and connecting spigot; the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support also has a perforated disc attached to the circular unthreaded tube section located above the U-shaped support base.

The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 1, wherein one end comprises a circular unthreaded tube section and the opposite end of an external threaded section; with each provided with a fastening through-hole; once the fastening through-hole on the external threaded section is aligned to its respective fastening through-hole on the connecting spigot, the locking pin may be inserted through the holes to connect the support post and connecting post.

The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 1, wherein the spindle nut is integrally formed by a rotary handle and two supporting sections symmetrically arranged on the exterior wall of the rotary handle; along with a thread formed on the interior wall of the rotary handle corresponding to the built-in thread on the external threaded section.

    4. The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 2, wherein the locking pin is a screw rod having one end provided with a fixed nut and the opposing end with a detachable nut; the number of locking pins is one.

    5. A height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, comprising at least one combined support post comprising m rows and n columns of support posts, where m and n are integers not less than 1; and at least one vertical support component can be arranged at the upper end of the height-adjustable support post.

The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 5, wherein the support post comprises combining two jack supports used for supporting the construction of a beam and slab; arrayed left and right; at least one of the vertical support components is arranged at the upper end of the rightmost support post in at least one row of the left support posts; at least one said support is arranged at an upper end of the leftmost support post in at least one row of the right support posts, with a support member arranged at an upper end of the post.

The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 5, wherein the support post comprises one combined jack support, where at least one jack support is connected to the upper end of the outermost support post along one row of support posts; the opposing end of the spigot is connected to the upper end of a support post, and the connected U-shaped support base is used as a supporting plate arranged on the combined support.

The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, as recited in claim 5, wherein the support post comprises one combined jack support, and in and n are integers which are not smaller than two; in any two rows of combined vertical structural support, the upper ends of the two outermost vertical support members in each row are provided with at least one said support device; the said supports are connected to the upper ends of the support posts by the spigots; and the support device further comprises two crossbeams and two steel I-beams, wherein the U-shaped support bases are firmly secured to the two ends of each crossbeam by the supports to create a hanging effect; the two support posts on the same row are located outside the two outermost vertical members, with two ends of each said steel I-beam perpendicularly connected to the lower surfaces of two ends, located on the same side, of the two crossbeams.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

    [0024] In order to make the present invention better understood by those skilled in the art, the present invention will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

    [0025] Referring to FIGS. 1-2, a height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is illustrated, comprising of: a support post 1, an external threaded section 101 directly connected to the support post 1, a U-shaped support base 2 sleeved on and slidable relative to the support post 1 and external threaded section 101, a spindle nut 3 used to adjust the height is sleeved on the external threaded section 101 and located below the U-shaped support base 2, fastening through-holes 102 provided at both ends of the support pipe 1 and external threaded section 101, a connecting spigot 4 with two sets of fastening 401, and at least one transverse locking pin 5 of which is used for connecting one end of the spigot 4 by inserting it into the support post 1 with the respective fastening 102. Once the fastening 102 are aligned with its respective fastening 401, the locking pin 5 is passed through the set of fastening through-holes 102 and 401 to secure the support post 1 and the connecting spigot 4 together. The support post 1 and connecting spigot 4 are both independently formed, and if either components are worn out, either can be replaced without discarding the entire height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, thereby saving overall cost.

    [0026] According to embodiment, one end of the support post comprises of the external threaded section 101 and the opposite end of a circular unthreaded tube section 103, and a perforated connecting disc 6 is arranged on the external wall of the circular unthreaded tube section 103; the perforated connecting disc 6 is located above the U-shaped support base 2.     [0030] Referring to FIGS. 3-4, an embodiment 1 of a temporary support system with the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is illustrated, comprised of a combination of two support posts, wherein the support posts comprises m rows and n columns of support posts, while m and n are integers not less than 2; the support post is used to support load-bearing beams 11 and slabs 12, and the two support posts are placed left and right between the beams.     [0031] Of course, as an alternative, the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support may be disposed on each scaffold post of each support frame, and the support member 14 is disposed on top of each height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, so that the support member 14 can directly support the bottom surface of the floor 12. Furthermore, the height of the U-shaped support base 2 can be adjusted to support the load-bearing beam 11 at the same level as other support framework.

    [0032] According to the actual situation, the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support and the support member may be disposed on the left and right side support posts of multiple rows of support posts in each combination of support members. According to the embodiment 1, the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support with various support components are provided on the left and right side of four sets of scaffold post combinations, so that it is not necessary to provide a separate and higher-level for supporting the floor 12. The height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is more utilized than the prior art, and the perforated connecting disc on each support post provides a fixing point for any horizontal ties to achieve the highest load force of the overall support system. It has been estimated that the total load using the temporary support system provided by the prior art is about 25.8%; whereas the total load using the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support with the present invention is about 51.25%.     [0033] Referring to FIG. 5, an embodiment 2 of the support system with the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is illustrated, comprising of: at least one height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, wherein the combined components comprises of m rows and n columns of support posts, while m and n are integers not less than 1; at least one post with height-adjustable support is provided on top of the outermost scaffold post 8 of one row of the support posts; the bottom end of a connecting spigot 4 is connected to the top end of the support posts 8; a support plate 18 is disposed on top of the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support and placed atop the U-shaped support base 2. The purpose of embodiment 2 is for extending the conventional scaffold post in the vertical direction, which not only allows for the height to be adjusted of the U-shaped support base 2 to support the support plate 18, but also allows for additional connection of horizontal tubes through the perforated connecting disc 6 on the support post 1, to form a side protection fence for the edge of the combined support system.

    [0034] Referring to FIG. 6, an embodiment 3 of the support system with the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is illustrated, which sets two supported I-beams to be used in conjunction with the combined support system, and cross beams set on the I-beams to provide a downwardly hoisting support system. According to embodiment 3, a quantity of the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is one, which comprises of m rows and n columns of support posts, while m and n are integers not less than 2. According to construction needs, in any two rows of the support posts utilizing the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support, at least one support post is provided respectively on the top end of the two outermost support posts 8 of each of the two rows of the support posts; the height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support is connected to the top ends of the support posts through a connecting spigot 4. The support system further comprises of two cross beams 9 and two I-beams 10 arranged to support the U-shaped support base on the support system, wherein two ends of the cross beams 9 are respectively placed with the U-shaped support base 2 clamped above the beams while connected to the two outermost support posts 8 of each of the two rows, and the two ends of the cross beams 9 are located outside the two outermost support posts 8; two ends of each of the I-beams 10 are perpendicularly connected to the bottom surface of two same-side ends of the two cross beams 9. In embodiment 3, the two outermost support posts of any two rows of the support posts refer to two support posts 8 located at the leftmost and rightmost ends of each row of support posts, and there are four outermost support posts of any two rows of the support posts. The four support posts four a square space, and each scaffold post is provided with a height-adjustable jack and vertical modular component support. Two ends of a front cross beam are respectively connected to the U-shaped support base 2 on the two support posts of a front row; and two ends of a rear cross beam are respectively connected to the U-shaped support base 2 on the two support posts of a rear row. The left and right ends of the two cross beams 9 are respectively located outside the left and right support posts of the two rows of the support posts. A front end of the I-beam on the left is connected to the left end of the front cross beam, and a rear end is connected to the left end of the rear cross beam. A front end of the I-beam on the right is connected to the right end of the front cross beam, and a rear end is connected to the right end of the rear cross beam. The downwardly hoisting support system of the support post allows the facilitation of a walkway for the construction personnel to access through the stairs provided on the support system below ground floor level.
