DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0018] The present invention relates to an integrated riding and bike exercise equipment in which the mechanisms involved in the riding and bike movement are interconnected in such a way that both routines can be carried out simultaneously without the need to carry out transitions. Likewise, the present invention provides structural modifications to the riding and bike exercise equipment that provide greater stability and allows to perform more complex exercise routines than those commonly carried out in this type of equipment.
[0019] To achieve the above, the integral riding and bike exercise equipment of the present invention is comprised of:
[0020] a) a main support (1), with a pivoting base (3), located in its middle part, with a bar (4) provided with a rotating shaft;
[0021] b) a fork arm (9), whose open arms are connected to the terminal ends of the bar (4), while its upper arm receives a telescopic bar (10) with a seat (11), said upper arm having a safety (12) that allows to adjust the travel of the telescopic bar (10);
[0022] c) an S shaped frame (13) formed by two bent tubulars connected to each other by two bridges (14), which has bearings (15) located in its lower part, which are attached to the support (7) to be used it as rail and; a bridge (16), located at the upper end of the S shaped frame (13), which angularly receives a pair of C shaped supports (17) and, a base (18) for digital measurement equipment and;
[0023] d) a stationary bike assembly (19) having resistance means with pedals adapted thereto, whose housing is connected at its bottom to the rotating axis of the bar (4), while at the top it is joined at one end of a collapsible arm (20), the opposite end of the collapsible arm (20) being pivotally attached to the tubulars of the S shaped frame (13), said opposite end of the collapsible arm (20) having a reception cavity (21) on which rests an adjustable resistance mechanism (22), which is attached to the upper arm of the fork arm (9).
[0024] The riding and bike exercise equipment described above allows the ascent and descent movements of the riding mechanism to be carried out without the interference of the stationary bike, so that it is not necessary to descend from the equipment to change the function of the mechanical system between routines.
[0025] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention the main support (1) is formed by a substantially straight base (2) at its front end, which optionally has an elastic protrusion (2) arranged therein to limit the movement of the housing of the stationary bike assembly (19) and; a C shaped connection (5) located at its rear end, the main support (1) being, in turn connected by the C shaped connection (5) to a terminal fan (6) that it is attached to a secondary support (7) that ends at a second base (8). Due to the configuration above described, the equipment can be easily folded, since it is only necessary to pull the secondary support (7) upwards, so that the terminal fan (6) pivots on the C shaped connection (5), causing the S shaped frame (13) to move its lower end closer to said C shaped connection (5); at the same time, the movement of the S shaped frame (13), folds the collapsible arm (20) in its middle part, forming a right angle that pushes the stationary bike assembly towards the front of the equipment and, at the same time raises the fork arm (9) so that it is approximately at an angle of 90 with respect to the main support (1). In this embodiment the equipment can have a magnetic piece arranged on the outside of the S shaped frame (13) to secure the main support (1) after folding.
[0026] In one embodiment of the present invention, the bearings (15) comprise an upper bearing and a lower bearing, the axis of the upper roller being articulated with the lower end of the S shaped frame (13), such that the secondary support (7) extends through said upper and lower bearings, supporting the S shaped frame travel (13).
[0027] In one of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the terminal fan (6) has a series of perforations (a) in which a pin (b) is inserted that serves as a safety that avoids the elevation of the secondary support (7) when this is located in the upper holes, while being placed in the lower holes serves as a safety to keep the equipment folded.
[0028] In another embodiment of the present invention, the upper arm of the fork arm (9) has a tilt selector plate (c) with multiple through holes and a pair of perforations (d) located in the S shaped frame (13), which allows the insertion therethrough of a pin (e), so that the mechanism of the equipment can be locked at a selected angle to facilitate bike routines.
[0029] In another of the embodiments of the present invention, the seat (11) has a pair of supports (f) that serve as support for the user hands, so that it can be grasped during riding routines so that the user only rises on his legs
[0030] In a further embodiment of the present invention, the adjustable resistance mechanism (22) is a hydraulic cylinder with an intensity selector, while in another of its embodiments it is a variable resistance spring mechanism controlled by a compressor disk.
[0031] In a further embodiment of the present invention, the collapsible arm (20) is formed by a first section (g) that has a rotating shaft that connects with the upper part of the stationary bike assembly (19) and a free end with perforations and; a second section (h) that has a second rotating shaft that joins one of the perforations, a pin (i) that serves as a safety to keep the collapsible arm (20) in a right angle configuration and, an absorption stop (j), which stops the upper arm stroke of the fork arm (9).
[0032] In one of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the base (2) of the main support (1), which has a pair of front wheels that facilitate the movement of the equipment, while in another of its embodiments the base (2) has U shape to increase the effective support area of the equipment. In this embodiment, the wheels are placed at the terminal ends of the U.
[0033] Additionally, in another of its embodiments, the stationary bike assembly (19), has a power generation mechanism that is activated by a mechanical system connected to the pedal axis, which allows the user effort to be transmitted to an electric generator whose output it is connected to an output regulator located at the base (18). In this way, the user can use the base (18) as a charging center for electronic devices. In this embodiment, the base (18) can have for example USB type, C type USB or lightning type connectors.
[0034] The present invention has been described according to a preferred embodiment; however, it will be apparent to a technician with average knowledge in the field, that modifications may be made to the invention, without departing from its spirit and scope.
