PERFORATED PEEL AND STICK WRAPPING PAPER

Abstract

Described herein is a pre-perforated, pre-applied adhesive strip with peel and stick properties wrapping paper system. The system or device includes pre-cut edges, peel and stick borders, and pre-measured box sized grids on the side opposite the exterior or decorative side of the gift wrapper to be seen by a gift receiver. Paper may be dispense in rolls or as individual folded sheets in a box.

Claims

1. A giftwrapping system for gifts or packages comprising: a sheet of paper having an inside surface and an outside surface, the wrapping paper including at least one pre-perforated line and edge and at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion formed adjacent to the pre-perforated line, wherein the at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled expose an adhesive strip underneath.

2. The giftwrapping system of claim 1 wherein the inside surface of the wrapping paper includes longitudinal and latitudinal lines adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.

3. The giftwrapping system of claim 2 wherein the pre-applied adhesive strips are formed adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.

4. The giftwrapping system of claim 2 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal lines are adapted to conform to multiple pre-measured gift box sizes.

5. The giftwrapping system of claim 4 wherein the wrapping paper is dispensed on a roll or from a box or carton.

6. The giftwrapping system of claim 2 wherein the longitudinal and latitudinal lines are adapted to conform to one pre-measured gift box size.

7. The giftwrapping system of claim 1 wherein the wrapping paper is formed from a fabric material.

8. The giftwrapping system of claim 1 wherein a wax coating is disposed on the sheet of wrapping paper.

9. A gift wrapping method, the method including: wrapping a package with a sheet of wrapping paper having an inside surface and an outside surface, the wrapping paper including at least one pre-perforated line and an edge separated from the pre-perforated line; removing at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion during wrapping formed adjacent to the perforated line, wherein the at least one adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled exposes the adhesive strip underneath; and applying the adhesive strip portion to at least one or more of the box or the sheet of giftwrapping paper.

The giftwrapping method of claim 9, the method including using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes to align the gift box and wrap the gift box wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.

11. The giftwrapping method of claim 10 the method further including applying pre-applied adhesive strips formed adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.

12. The giftwrapping method of claim 9 the method including using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted to conform to multiple pre-measured gift box sizes to align boxes.

13. The giftwrapping method of claim 9 further comprising the step of providing a sheet of paper, before wrapping a package, including the at least one pre-perforated line and edge and the at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion is formed adjacent to the pre-perforated line.

14. The giftwrapping method of claim 9 the method including using longitudinal and latitudinal lines displayed on the inside surface of the wrapping paper adapted to conform to one pre-measured gift box size to align boxes.

15. The giftwrapping method of claim 14 the method including drawing the wrapping paper from a dispensing roll.

16. A giftwrapping system comprising: a sheet of giftwrapping paper having an inside surface and an outside surface, the giftwrapping paper including at least one pre-perforated line and edge and at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion formed adjacent to the pre-perforated line, wherein the at least one pre-applied adhesive strip portion is covered with peelable strip members which when peeled expose an adhesive strip underneath; and wherein the sheet comprises an assembly of sheets including at least one or more of a template of substantially 4 sheets of varying sizes or dimensions.

17. The giftwrapping system of claim 16 wherein the inside surface of the wrapping paper includes longitudinal and latitudinal lines adapted for pre-measured gift box sizes wherein the pre-perforated lines are formed on or adjacent to the pre-measured gift box lines.

18. The giftwrapping system of claim 16 wherein a wax coating is disposed on the sheet of giftwrapping paper.

19. The giftwrapping system of claim 18 wherein the wrapping paper is dispensed from a roll or a box.

20. The giftwrapping system of claim 1 wherein the sheet of paper includes a cloth or fabric item that includes a pre-perforated line or lines and a pre-applied fastening device or adhesive.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0033] The various embodiments of the inventive perforated, peel and stick wrapping paper are disclosed herein. In a related embodiment, the inventive concept is pre-measured, with perforated edges or lines, pre-adhesive with peelable strips, and pressure stick wrapping paper.

[0034] Referring to the Figures, FIGS. 1 to 7 particularly illustrate a giftwrapping system 100 which inventively eliminates the need for scissors, measuring tapes or rulers, adhesive tape and eliminates a great deal of waste in gift wrapping papers normally resulting from using large rolls of wrapping paper.
