    Description

    SUMMARY

[0002] The game in this present invention specifically addresses game play without the use of lighting or other electronics. However flashlights and candles or lanterns are used in this case, as a means to simulating going off the grid, i.e. off the electrical grid. The players will turn off all lights and electronics and play the game by flashlight or lantern (including small battery-powered lighting sources).

[0003] Furthermore, the game described herein is actually a large collection of activities or sub-games from which a smaller selection is randomly chosen for the specific duration of a single game sitting.

[0004] The game begins by shuffling the activity card deck which consists of a large number (i.e. 30 or more) of activities or sub-games. Participants will randomly select a certain number of activity cards from the deck (i.e. between 4 and 6 activity cards). Players will then turn off the lights in the home or building and go off the grid, using small battery-powered flashlights or lanterns as the sole lighting source. The selected activities or sub-games are played in sequence until the game is over.
