BEST MODE
[0018] Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings, a concrete description to implement the waterproof bib for an infant dining table according to the present invention will be provided by way of the following embodiments.
[0019] The waterproof bib 1 for an infant dining table according to the present invention may be placed under the chin of an infant to bring the infant and an infant dining table (table) together, so as to prevent saliva or food dribbled by the infant who eats while sitting at the table T from spilling between the table and the infant and further from staining clothes of the infant, wherein the infant dining table T may be a high-chair type table including a chair C, a top plate P and legs R as shown in
[0020] First, referring to
[0021] The chin rest part 100 is a portion placed under the chin to cover a front side of the upper body of an infant when wearing the bib, and may contact saliva and/or food dribbled by the infant.
[0022] In the upper center portion of the chin rest part 100, a neckline groove 110 cut to the lower side is formed to surround the neck of the infant while exposing the shoulders and arms. Further, a fastening string 130 is connected thereto. Accordingly, when an infant wears the bib, the bib may be suitably fastened to match a neck size of the infant. Further, the infant can freely move even while wearing the bib, whereby the bib is comfortable to use.
[0023] The table cover part 400 is approximately rectangular and integrally connected to the lower portion of the chin rest part 100. Referring to
[0024] Further, the table cover part 400 may be connected with first Velcro straps 440 provided at both sides of the table cover part, respectively. Further, a pair of second Velcro straps 450 is connected to a lower end of the table cover part. When the table cover part 400 is spread out on the table to cover the top surface of the top plate P, the first Velcro straps 400 and second Velcro straps 450 are crossed and removably attached together after surrounding a rear surface of the top plate P in the table T, thereby fixing the table cover part 400 to the top plate P. Therefore, the table cover part 400 may be conveniently fastened to match a table size.
[0025] Further, referring to
[0026] In this way, when an infant eats food while sitting at the table, the inventive bib may be placed under the chin of the infant to bring the infant and the table together, so as to prevent saliva or food dribbled by the infant from spilling between the table and the infant and staining clothes of the infant. Further, the infant can freely move the shoulders and arms when wearing the bib, whereby the bib is comfortable to use. In addition, the bib is provided with a table cover to prevent the food from staining the table, thereby facilitating cleaning.
[0027] Further, the table cover part 400 has fastening strings 420 connected at both sides thereof. When using the bib, the table cover part is spread out on the table and fixed thereto by tying the fastening stings 420 to the chair C of the table. Herein, the fastening strings 420 may also serve as a seat belt. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the infant from falling off the chair C and being injured.
[0028] In addition,
[0029] Referring to
[0030] The chin rest part 100 is a portion placed under the chin to cover a front side of the upper body of an infant when wearing the bib, and contacts saliva and/or food dribbled by the infant. Herein, the chin rest part 100 has a neckline groove 110 in the upper center portion, which is cut toward the lower side and formed to surround the neck of the infant. Further, both sides below the arm insertion parts 300 are curved to be concave inward to thus enable the infant to freely move.
[0031] The shoulder collar part 200 is formed to extend to both sides of an upper portion of the chin rest part 100 and drapes over the shoulders of the infant to surround the same, wherein a front portion 210 is integrally connected to the chin rest part 100 while a rear portion 220 is formed to be partially spaced apart from the chin rest part 100, and fastening strings 230 are provided at both sides of the rear portion 220 Therefore, the bib may be fastened to match a neck size and the infant can freely move the shoulders and arms even while wearing the bib, thereby enabling convenient use of the bib.
[0032] The arm insertion parts 300 are integrally connected to the shoulder collar part 200 and formed to surround the arms of the infant like as an infant shirt, wherein the arms are inserted inside and two hands may be drawn out through withdrawal holes 310, respectively, on both ends of the arm insertion parts, thereby facilitating free movement of the arms and convenient use of the bib.
[0033] The table cover part 400 is substantially rectangular and is integrally connected to a lower portion of the chin rest part 100. Referring to
[0034] In this regard, referring to
[0035] Further, referring to
[0036] Alternatively, the table cover part 400 may include a rubber band strap 460 having elasticity between both side of the rear surface and a pair of cloth straps 470 at the lower portion of the table cover part, wherein the cloth straps 370 are connected to the rubber band strap 460. Herein, rolling up a front end of each cloth band 470 and sewing the same may form a loop 471 and the rubber band strap 460 may pass through the loop 471, thus being connected. The table cover part 400 is spread out on the table to cover a top surface of the top plate P, and the rubber band strap 460 and the cloth straps 470 surround a rear surface of the top plate in the table T. Therefore, the table cover part 400 may be conveniently fastened to match a table size.
[0037] In this way, the bib may be placed under the chin of an infant to bring the infant and the table together, so as to prevent saliva or food dribbled by the infant who eats while sitting at the table from spilling onto the table and the infant and staining clothes of the infant. Further, when wearing the bib, the infant can freely move the shoulders and arms, thereby enabling convenient use of the bib. Still further, the bib is provided with a table cover to prevent food from staining the table, thereby facilitating cleaning.
[0038] Further, the table cover part 400 may include fastening strings 420 at both sides and, when the table cover part 400 is spread cut on the table, the fastening strings 420 may be tied to the chair C of the table and may have an additional function of a seat belt, thereby preventing the infant from falling off the chair C and being injured.
[0039] Further,
[0040] Further, referring to
[0041] Further, according to the first to fourth embodiments of the present invention, the waterproof bib 1 for an infant dining table may further include a rim part 600 formed by sewing a gusset cloth along the edge of the bib 1.
[0042] Eventually, the waterproof bib 1 for an infant dining table according to the present invention may be placed under the chin of an infant to bring the infant and a table together, in order to prevent saliva and/or food dribbled by the infant who eats while sitting at the table from spilling between the table and the infant and thus staining clothes of the infant, characterized in that: the bib is comfortable to use since the infant can freely move the shoulders and arms when wearing the bib; the bib has an additional function of a seat belt; a table cover is provided to prevent the food from staining the table to thus facilitate cleaning; the table cover part is fastened to match a table size; and the bib may be folded down and accommodated in a pocket integrally provided therein, thereby being simply and conveniently stored and carried.
[0043] The above embodiments of the present invention have been given for illustrative purpose and the present invention is not particularly limited thereto. A variety of modifications and/or alterations including the same configuration and achieving the same functional effects as the technical concept described in the appended claims are also within the technical scope of the present invention.
