    Abstract

    A structural element for constructions, which works as a beam when placed horizontally and as a column when placed vertically, meant to be used in the field of constructions on light structure, for exterior or interior walls, bridgings etc. The structural element includes a top timber chord, a bottom timber chord with two parallel timber panels in between connected together at 90? through a series of galvanized steel staples.

    1. A structural element for constructions, wherein, it consists of a top timber chord, a bottom timber chord with two parallel timber panels in between connected together at 90? through a series of galvanized steel staples.

    DETAILED DESCRIPTION

    [0017] The structural element for constructions consists of a top timber chord 1, a bottom timber chord 2 with two parallel timber panels 3 in between connected together at 90? through a series of galvanized steel staples 4.

    [0018] The top and bottom chords 1 and 2 are made of timber.

    [0019] The panels 3 are made of timber and have the sectional area bigger than of the pads 1.
